97 The Knife ii

"Why" Akihiko asked emotionlessly.

"Why? Why I did it? Hmm well... " Itsuo said and looked at the glass of whiskey in his hand.
  "I already told you, I like you a lot Kurose" he said smiling.

Akihiko stared at him with his white eyes.

"When we were alive, I had no chance to be with you. You died quite early......and I was devastated. I had to accept the fate that we couldnt be together.  I struggled so hard just to move on from you and just to meet you again here" Itsuo said sighing with a smile.
"Yet, I still couldn't make you mine because you already have a lover. Life is so unfair" he said frowning looking at Akihiko.

"I was going to accept my fate that you're really not mine. It's okay, I just want you to be happy, even if it wasn't with me" he said smiling faintly.
  "Like everyone says,  if you really love someone,  you'll let them go. If they're happy then you should be happy for them too right?" he said smiling to Akihiko.

Suddenly his smile disappeared and he said,
"But that's bullshit".

Itsuo suddenly chuckled and said,
  "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Of course I wasn't going to give up. Life gave me another chance,  surely I'm not going to waste it".

"I don't care what I have to do to get you. I have killed so many people just to get the things I want when I was alive, it's barely any work for me" he said.

Itsuo turned his head and looked at Hiroyuki who standing far away from them looking tense.
"When I knew you had someone...I thought,
   Fuck your stupid boyfriend. I'll kill him. I don't care who he is. I'll stab him or shoot him in the face" he said chuckling.

Hiroyuki looked at him feeling furious but he did not say a thing nor did anything.

Itsuo looked away frowning and said,
"But yea—this place sucks. Those things wont kill anybody here. Not everyone can kill anyone...".
  "Since I'm not one of the elites, I got some help and acquire the tea to poison your beloved angel" he said.

He took a sip of his whiskey and licked his lips.
Akihiko waited patiently and silently as he watched the devil.

Itsuo put his glass down and stood up straight.
"I might as well just tell the whole plan now" He said smiling slyly.
"It was easy enough for me to poison him once I had the right moment. I knew the two of you would fight soon because well....I just know how you are. You don't usually do well with good and kind people. Even more, angels" he said.

"When I had the perfect time, I just put the tea and wait for the magic to happen. Oh and I didnt worry about you might drink the tea. I know you hate tea because you said it yourself when we went out for lunch" Itsuo said smiling.
"And I know very well that your boyfriend loves his tea. Its the perfect plan. It was foolproof but somehow.....he's still alive" he said.

"Its such a shame" he said sighing and looked down. He poured more whiskey to his glass.

Akihiko opened his mouth and said,
"You could've made up a lie but instead you chose to tell the truth".

Itsuo smiled and looked at him and said calmly,
"Because I already know that no matter what I say or do, there will be no difference. I know that you'll kill me".

Akihiko stared at him and said,
"I wonder why are you so calm and happy still".

Itsuo sighed and finished his whiskey in one gulp. He slammed his glass on the counter and looked at him smiling.
  "Because at least I'll die at the hands of someone I love" he said.

Akihiko stared at him with his white eyesand said with disgust,
  "You really are pathetic".

"I am" Itsuo said smirking.
   "But I didn't actually expect this would happen....I thought when your boyfriend dies,  then I could come back into your life and take over his place easily" he said.
