JOE WAS KIND OF AN IDIOT. HE HAD MESSED UP THINGS WITH THE GIRL HE REALLY CARED FOR. Ryan was good for him. It wouldn't even be for Ryan that Joe would've gotten that role on Stranger Things if she didn't practically force him to go to the casting call. She loved him and she believed in him. And he messed it up by drunkenly going off on her after he missed her birthday.
Yet now he was calling, again, and again, because he missed that girl on any and everyday. She was his queen, and he was just her ex calling.
RYAN DIDN'T WANT TO SHUT OUT Joe but she knew that if he was going to act the way he was, then she ultimately deserved better. She just didn't think that he'd fight so hard to reverse the effects of his stupid actions.
WHAT CAN CHANGE : the name. and the plot can be developed
PRETTY MUCH — Joe screws up the relationship he had with his long term girlfriend Ryan Anderson and he can't find it in himself to let go of her. So he continues to call her everyday in hopes of forgiveness
— Ryan is really stubborn — what joe said to her was really wrong and you can pick their falling out and it's specifics — Ryan can have her own love interest as well — eventually they become friends because Ryan can't seem to say no to Joe and then the old feelings start to come back for him
