Catching the man’s wrist Kendra gripped it so hard that the man had to drop the blade.

“Now that wasn’t very friendly,” pointed Kendra as he kicked it away and swung the man round until he let go of his hair. Picking up the blade the man with the broken arm threw it at Kendra, it glanced off his shoulder plate. The tall man stumbled up and reeled towards his opponent then crashed into Kendra’s fist. He flew backwards against some furniture, unconscious. Lifting his good arm the man with the broken arm surrendered.

Kendra picked up his sword and walked outside to see if his men had also been victorious.

Not being prepared for the stiff resistance they had received the invaders had been repelled, Kendra helped to chase some of the stragglers away. He looked at Banko, “I will leave you in charge of the detail to guard this village. I’m taking some of the men to see if they have truly left.” Picking six men Kendra then made for the pass.

Along the way there were the litterings of a routed force. Seeing a slumped figure Kendra dismounted. A man was laying there breathing heavily. The king’s champion lifted the man’s head, “Where are you camped?”
