"How about we just take some time to ourselves... you know? Quality time with your husband." I smiled, giving her a kiss on the temple.

"I can't..." She sighed, having a look, "I am so pissed at Millicent!"

"Pissed enough that you're going to see if she is okay." I stated.

"Yeah..." She said, flashing a dimple in defense.

I smirked, "And that's why I love you."

She gave a half smile, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why.

"Hey." I said, making her turn to face me, "I don't need kids to be happy, okay? If I have you... then nothing else matters."

She nodded and left without another word. Somehow, there was still more tension between us but I hope that in time it will all work itself out.

I sat at home alone and played around on my laptop when there was a knock on the door. I hustled to the door to only have my breath taken from my lungs.

"Hey." She smiled sheepishly.

"Vanessa..." I exhaled, "Why are you here?"

"I just wanted to see you..."

"Okay, but why? What we had... was long ago, okay? I'm married now, Vanessa." I said sternly.

"I just came here to talk, believe it or not... I just, how is this all so easy for you?"

"Easy?" I scoffed, "You think I've had it easy? Brooke and I have been through hell to get where we are, and we still have stuff going on! Yes, what we had was good and amazing but it's over now... alright?"

"We were engaged, Tobin..." She sighed, heading towards the door, "Does she know that?"

Not long after Vanessa had left, there was ANOTHER knock on the door and my adrenaline from earlier carried over.

"Look, I said it al--." I started, only to shut my mouth once I saw Haley and Quinn at the door. "What is it? What'd I do that requires both sisters?"

"Haha, funny!" Haley mocked, "Look, I just need my family for something. You coming?"

I nodded and we all piled into Haley's car, making our way to the river court.

"If we go to Spain then Peyton did this label for nothing, and if I go on tour then Jamie grows up on a tour bus!" Haley sighed.

"I mean, margaritas!" Quinn teased.

"Pretty sure that is in Mexico!" I laughed, getting a punch in the shoulder.

Haley then gave us both a glare and we apologized, "I just want Nathan and Jamie to be happy, but I also don't want to disappoint Peyton!"

"Well, what do you want?" I asked, getting an agreeing nod from Quinn.

"Yeah. I mean, you always worry about what others want... what do you want?"

"Look, Hales, we could sit here all day long with you and tell you the pros and cons for both options... but either way, whatever you choose, will be a good decision." I stated, getting a smirk out of Haley.

At home, I was overlooking Haley's tour destinations when Brooke walked in... tears in her eyes.
