Merlin’s POV
“I can’t do it,” I said as I collapsed to the floor.
“What?!” shouted Arthur.
“He is your father,” I said to him.
“Do I care!” he shouted.
“I can’t do this Arthur, its wrong,” I said.
“Merlin if you love me you would do this,” he said looking at me. I looked from Arthur to Uther and nodded. I put my hand out in front of him and I began to whisper a spell. Slowly I watched Uther suffocate in front of me until he died.
Arthur came over to me and put his lips to mine. “We can live together forever now with no worries,” Arthur whispered to me. As much as I loved Arthur and I knew this would mean we could be together forever I couldn’t help but hate myself. I had just killed Uther and I don’t know how I can take this. I did it for Arthur, it’s my only excuse. It’s not right is it?
I’m not sure what is going on but I‘m beginning to regret everything I have done in the last how many hours and or however long it has been. What am I going to do? Can I live like this forever? Can I live with Arthur and his bad side?
Yes I can.
I love him.
That is all that I need.
