Stiles and I run into the hospital and make our way to our dad's room.

Scott, Liam and Deaton follow.

We reach the room.

Melissa is there.

Stiles rushes over to my dad, who is lying motionless on the bed.

I stand in the doorway and watch as Stiles takes my dad's hand.

My dad slowly opens his eyes and look at Stiles.

"Hey kiddo." he says softly.

Stiles lets out a sigh of relief and hugs my dad.

I'm still standing in the doorway, for some reason unable to move.

My dad turns to look at me and reaches his hand out to me.

I walk over to them and hug my dad and my brother.

I try to stop the tears but I can't.

My dad's alive. I have him back. Stiles and I have our dad back.

I turn back to the doorway where everybody has gathered around.

Scott, Liam, Malia, Lydia, Kira, Mason, Melissa, Parrish, Derek and Deaton.

"Thank you." I say to Deaton.

"Not a problem." he replies with a small smile.

We did it. We saved my dad.

stilinski household ; one week later

Dads back home now.

The doctors have been doing all kinds of tests on him.

He's getting better, slowly but surely. We still aren't sure of what exactly happened in the woods that night, or who it was, but I'm just so happy he is still with us.

The doctors told him he can go back to work in the next week or so, but Dad already wants to go back.

The pack has been over to visit him a lot.

Scott always brings my dad his favorite food.

He really enjoys Scott's visits.

Today is the first day of school. I look over at my clock.

It's 6:47 AM.

I should probably get up now, but I have no energy.

I wasn't able to get much sleep last night...or any of the other nights since the ice bath for that matter.

For the past week I've been nothing but tired and weak.

A couple of days ago I got out of bed to get a drink of water after hours of tossing and turning, only to faint on my way to the door.

I didn't tell Stiles, or my dad, I don't want them to worry.

My entire body aches, and I have a headache that doesn't want to go away.

Maybe I'm getting sick?

I don't know.

Liam has noticed that something is wrong, but every time he brings it up, I change the subject.

I finally get up and walk over to the bathroom.

I brush my teeth and change out of my pjs.

I walk downstairs.

Dads on the couch watching T.V.

Stiles is in the kitchen eating some pancakes.

I say good morning to my dad and give him a hug.

"Morning." I say to Stiles as I sit across from him.

"Morning." he replies.

I look at my brother, his hair a mess, and smile.

"What?" he asks.

"It's just, I can't believe you're gonna be a senior. You're growing up so fast."

He laughs. "Yeah, well, if you aren't ready in the next 15 minutes, I'm going to leave you behind."

I nod and eat my breakfast.

After I'm done, I head upstairs to fix my hair, do my make-up and brush my teeth.

I grab my backpack and head downstairs, if we don't leave soon we'll be late.

"Ready!" I say.

I walk over to my dad and hug him goodbye.

Stiles does the same.

I wait for Stiles by the door.

As he's making his way over to me, he bumps his leg on the coffee table.

I feel a sharp pain on my leg at the exact moment Stiles bumped his, as if I were the one who bumped their leg on the table.

weird.

"Ow!" Stiles exclaims.

"You ok?" I ask.

"Yeah, fine. Let's go!" he says.

First day of school is over.

I'm back home now, trying to sleep.

It was a good first day, except for the fact that I felt like a walking zombie because I am so tired, but it was a good day nonetheless.

Mason, Liam and I have two classes together.

History and Bio. Mr. Yukimura teaches history. That class is going to be fun.

I think back to my first day of high school. My first day as a freshman and my first day as a sophomore.

Things are so different.

So many things have changed.

But I'm grateful for all the people I've met this past year. Becca, Celeste, Mason...Liam.

And, honestly, if I didn't find out about the supernatural, I probably wouldn't be as close to everyone in the pack as I am now. Especially Malia.

I turn to look over at my clock, it's 1:51 AM.

it's gonna be a long night.
