Rafe's POV

I woke up around 8 AM to the bright sun shining through the windows of our yacht. My gaze fell onto the beautiful girl that I had spent yet another amazing night with.

Maddy's blonde hair was scattered across the pillow, I noticed that the ends of her hair had gotten a lot lighter from the sunlight, which made her hair appear brighter. Her beautiful face was pressed against the pillow as she kept sleeping peacefully.

I couldn't help but take in every detail about her, her small nose, her long dark eyelashes, her freckles that were spread over her cheekbones, and her nose bridge. The way her plump lips looked perfect to kiss even if she was only asleep.

The sun shined right on her cheekbone giving her sun-tanned skin a golden touch to it. I remembered Maddy always used to be a pale person but during the sunnier days, she would get this caramel tan that had me by my knees.

My eyes traveled up her slim body and up to her face again where I was met by the most breathtaking blue eyes you could imagine.

"You like the view?", she giggled with her morning voice.

"It's my favorite", I answered with a grin.

Maddy was by far the most beautiful girl I had ever laid my eyes on.

Maddy's POV

"You're cheesy", I giggled opening my arms so the boy that I had spent one of the most amazing nights with, would come cuddle for just a few seconds longer.

Just a few more moments where we could pretend everything was perfect and that what we were doing was completely okay.

Rafe smiled and bend down again cuddling his body up against mine, his smell made its way up my nose and I couldn't help but feel at home.

"I don't wanna go home", I muttered against his head.

"Why?"

"Because then we have to pretend like this never happened", I explained sadly. The thought of pretending Rafe and I weren't getting closer and building a stronger bond hurt me almost as much as the words his mouth had left three days ago.

"But we don't have to pretend we never happened", he mumbled sitting up a little more again so he could look me in the eyes.

His blue eyes looked right back into mine and I couldn't help but imagine a life with him, a life where we didn't have to sneak around and could be together for real.

"We do, Leo would probably flip out and so would Sarah, can you imagine the rumors?", I asked the boy in front of me with a sigh.

"Well, I don't think I can pretend that this never happened, I can't just go back to my normal life and pretend like our talk and our nights hadn't happened", Rafe explained with a serious look plastered on his face.
