Join My Crew: Law x Child! Reader

You sat there in the garden filled with flowers, you had no parents, and you were used to being alone. You never had visitors, and when you did, they tried to attack you, but they never succeeded in killing you. The more people that tried to kill you, the more your emotions had disappeared.

You picked up a handful of lilies before going back into your home. You placed them in a vase before making yourself something to eat. Just as you were stirring the soup, you heard the door open. This caused you to narrow your eyes. You went underneath the sink and grabbed the rifle you had hidden there.

You hid your small form in the pantry. You waited until the time was right before making your move. They have seen multiple guys go into the kitchen, and voices were heard.

"Captain, either someone is here, or they are not smart, for they left the stove on." You peaked through and saw the guy was wearing a hat that said Penguin. You slowly poked the rifle out of the pantry door and shot the guy in the leg. He let a yell out in pain, and you smirked before getting out of the pantry.

You held the gun to the guy's head, and his eyes widened at your small size. Your eyes held no emotion in them, and when other people came into the kitchen, you kicked another guy in the shin before hitting him in the head with the butt of the rifle. You went to attack the next person, but you saw it was a bear.

"I don't hurt animals. You are lucky." You say in your small voice. You then see a tall, lean man with tattoos. He looked irritated that a little girl had taken his man down.

"Lower the gun, kid."

"Get out of my house, pirate." You shoot back. His eyebrow twitched, and he went to reach for the gun, but you cocked it back, getting ready to shoot him. He clicked his tongue before saying Room and swapping the rifle in your with a dishes rag. You growled just as he went to lean down, but you held your hand up. A force made him stumble back, and he was shocked.

"We aren't here to hurt you." The bear said, bowing his head. You looked at the bear, and everyone was quiet.

"Then why are you here?"

"We heard that someone up here sells weapons, but no one ever comes up here because they never come back down."

"They don't come back down because they try to kill me, so I kill them first. But I guess, if you are here for some short of weapons, I can help." You mumbled, hiding your gun underneath the sink.

"Wait, so it's you?" Shachi asked, rubbing his head.

"Instead of asking questions, your friend needs attention." You pointed to his bleeding leg. The bear went ahead and started to wrap Penguin's leg up. You grabbed a remote and pressed it, and the kitchen counter began to rotate before revealing stairs. You walked down, and they followed you.
Law kept an eye on you, and he realized you had to fight to survive. He could tell that much because you were no more than 7, yet the way you fought, talked and carried yourself was that of someone his age. He had a strong urge to have you join his crew, but he wondered if you would even agree.

"You are pretty stealthy for someone your age," Law said as you uncovered all your weapons. You didn't say anything but motioned to all of your weapons. Law looked at the swords you made. You sat on the ground, putting your head in your hand.

"What is your name?"

"(Y/N)."

"Well (Y/N)-ya, how would you like to join my crew?" He asked. Shachi and Penguin both looked at their captain in shock. Law soon realized why he wanted to take you in. He saw himself in you. You may have a bad mouth, but he could tell you want to be just a kid.

"Why would I do that?"

"We can protect you, and you get to travel the world," Law said. You glanced at him before looking away. Law bent down in front of you before taking your chin into his fingers. You smacked his hand away. Law couldn't help but smirk as he had flashbacks of him and Corazon when he was younger.

"Don't touch me, weirdo."

"Alright, but what do you say?" Law said, standing up from his spot. You shyly glanced at him, and he had a smile. You glanced at the tall bear before looking back at Law.

"It's not like I want to join but fine if you truly want me to." You say, looking everywhere but him. Law smirked and began packing some of your more detailed weapons. You slowly walked beside the bear, and the bear looked down at you.

"W-What are your names?"

"I am Law, the captain. The one you shot s Penguin, Shachi and the bear is Bepo."

"I don't like them; I like Bepo." You say the bear blushed before bowing.

"Sorry." You blinked before a ghost of a smile spread on your lips. Shachi and Penguin got offended and huffed gently.

"Why not?" They asked in unison, and you just looked at them before holding your hands up to Bepo. He picked you up, putting you on his shoulders. You smiled, hugging his head before laying your head on his. Law watched before they turned off the stove and walked out with everything they needed. You yawned and fought to stay awake. Normally you wouldn't get tired, but the bear was warm and cuddly.

"Bepo?"

"Yes (Y/N) Chan?"

"You are so warm and cuddly. Can I sleep with you or Law?" You ask sleepily. Law blinked, surprised, but he smiled nonetheless. He nodded to Bepo, and Bepo nodded.

"Yes, you can." You nodded, closing your eyes. Law glanced up, and he smiled. You were the female version, except he was sick, and you looked perfectly healthy.

"Hopefully, she will warm up to us as she did, Bepo," Shachi said.

"She shot me."

"Well, we did trespass technically." Shachi stayed, and Penguin huffed slightly.

"Right."

"I'm sure she will warm up. After all, something tells me she isn't just all bite. I feel like once she gets to know us, we will see the kid we should see, not the adult in a kid body." Law said.

"Yeah, you are right, captain," Penguin said, glancing at your sleeping figure, which he and Shachi couldn't help but awe at how cute you looked sleeping.
