Bethany's POV.
Harry walked in and gave his schedule to our teacher, Ms. Carter.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Styles. You can sit next to Bethany since that's our only empty seat" she said beaming.
Thank goodness I had him in at least one of my classes! Ugh. I thought I wouldn't.
"Hey Beth" he said touching my hand awkwardly as he put his bag on the floor.
"What's up Styles?" I said.
"Nothing much Mata" he said giving her a nudge.
Mata was my last name and he called me that because I hated it.
Class began and we went throughout our day. I had art with him as well and music.
I hated music, but he loved it. I knew that for a fact.
As I was walking out of my seventh period with my best girlfriend, Aliceson, I felt someone come up to me on my right side.
It was Zayn.
"Hey Beth" he said pushing me a little.
"Um..hi Zayn" I said trying to smile.
"What's wrong babe?" He said as he grabbed my hand.
"Nothing" I said letting him hold it.
I felt this weird tingly feeling inside, and it was weird. Why am I letting him hold my hand? We aren't together... Did I still have feelings for him? No. Yes?
He walked me halfway and then I saw Harry walking by himself.
"Sorry, I have to go Zayn." I said as an excuse to let go of him because I didn't want to be rude.
"Alright, babe" he said giving me a peck on my cheek.
What. The? I shook it off and ran to Harry.
"Hey Styles!" I said poking his sides.
"Oh, hey Beth..." He said in a weird tone.
"What's wrong?" I asked hoping he would answer.
"Oh nothing at all love." He said forcing a smile it seemed.
"Alrighty then, you want to hang later?" I asked.
"Sure" he said as his face lit up.
Finally, some alone time with Harry.
Harry's POV
I walked out of my seventh period hoping that I would be able to walk out with Beth.
I was searching for her and I saw her in back of me...with her ex. Zayn.
They were holding hands.
It literally killed me to see them. I let myself fall for her.
I just kept walking and never looked back.
Then I heard someone come up behind me and poked my sides.
"Hey Styles!" Beth said Looking beautiful as could be.
"Oh hey Beth..." I said trying to sound like nothing was wrong and hoping she wouldn't notice.
"What's wrong?" She asked looking eager for an answer.
What's wrong? Everything. You're the girl I like and I see you with your ex? What's up with that? It makes me feel like shit to see you over there with him, holding his hand! That could be me. But it isn't.
All that i wanted to say I didn't, so I just said "Oh nothing love" forcing a smile.
"Alrighty then, you want to hang later?" She asked.
"Sure." I said as I could feel my face light up.
