"You're all he talks about," Kojo's dad smiled, raising his glass before letting the alcoholic liquid run down his throat.
"It's nice to meet you," I smiled against Kojo's chest, he was not letting me go for nothing.
"Pleasure is all mine, you two are lovely together and my little grandson gone be something else," he chuckled, turning to watch Gino who was moving around in circles as he listened to the song that was playing. "Y'all should come out to Arizona, visit and we can go to the Grand Canyon,"
"Sounds like a plan Pops," Kojo nodded.
"I'll leave you kids alone, I'll be over at the bar if you need me," he smiled and turned his back toward us before walking away.
"So glad he's nothing like your mama," I sighed in relief, I enjoyed talking to Andre. He was laid back and was just a much older and wiser Kojo.
I wasn't worried about his parents liking me but damn, Renata was just pure fucking evil. I could breathe wrong and she'd have something to say. I'm glad she wasn't here cause my wedding would've been ruined.
The reception was lovely, the food was delicious, and the way my feet ached from dancing, I was ready to go lay down.
It's been a long ass day for all of us.
"Gino, get out that cake," Kojo yelled at Gino, making him jump.
"Ugh, I'll get him," Jolin put her dolls down and moved toward him.
"Thank you," I sighed and held onto Kojo's waist, we just swayed to the music.

Kojo rubbed my back and kissed my head. I ain't even wanna let him go, he smelled so good and his body was just the warmest, igniting a fire to my soul.
"I'm rey to go lay down, my feet hurt," I mumbled into his chest but in all reality this dress needed to come off.
And Kojo better beat off tonight, I'm taking a shower and once I put my bonnet on, it's lights out. It's probably normal for every other couple but we had went for a quickie not too long ago so that's all he's getting outta me.
"We can go," he spoke against my head and I looked up at him.
"We got all these people in here,"
"So? They having a good time, they not worried about us anymore," he shrugged his shoulders, pressing his lips against mine. "I love you so much. So glad to finally call you my wife,"
"I love you too," I winked at him. "Husband,"
"You damn right, come on," he let go of me and gripped onto my hand. "Aye y'all, we finna head out. Y'all stay, eat, and drink as much as you want,"
They all just nodded. We left the tent and walked toward the hotel. I smiled as I dragged my feet through the sand, the sun was no longer out, and the silence was pure bliss.
I laid my head on Kojo as we walked the trail to the building. I yawned, my eyes watering causing me to blink more than once.
"Aye," a voice was heard from behind us. "Kojo,"
He stopped and clenched his jaws, turning his head slighty but not enough to look them in the eye. "I told you I ain't wanna talk right now, we can talk tomorrow AJ," Kojo continued to walk.
"Nah, just talk to him, get everything out and off your chest. I know you're upset about it but imagine how bad he had to feel keeping that from you," I insisted, letting him ponder on it for a minute before he sighed.
"Just five minutes bruh," Kojo let go of my hand and stood there, AJ stepped to him.
"I'ma go back to the room," I pointed my thumb behind me and turned around until I reached the golden doors.
I didn't wanna be a witness to a homicide.
The minute I got in the room, I kicked my shoes off and ran my shower water. I made sure the bathroom was steaming, the mirror was all fogged up just how I liked it.
I removed my under garments and stepped into the shower. The water stung my back making me back away and fix the temperature to where it wasn't burning my skin.
When I was satisfied I began to wash my body. The suds formed and after scrubbing all over I let the water wash away the soap.
I took a deep breath before turning the water off. I reached for my towel and pulled it to my chest as I stepped onto the furry rug.
I wiped my hand along the bathroom mirror, Kojo hated when I did that. I'd do it on his car windows and on our bathroom mirrors.
I looked at myself and wrapped the towel around me.
I grabbed my toothbrush and started to brush my teeth. And then proceeded to do my facial routine to take the makeup off while also cleansing my face.
I snooped in Kojo's bag, he packed a lot of T-shirts. He hasn't wore one but that's fine, I'll make sure they all get worn.
It was a black T-shirt with the Chucky doll on it. I slid it on over my head and stepped into my underwear. I grabbed my bonnet from the dresser and tucked all ends of my weave into it.
I picked up my phone and yawned, cleaning everything up before I laid down in the bed.
"Bae,"
Damn, I just started to relax.
"Yes?" I yelled out and turned around, watching him unbutton his tuxedo as he moved toward the bed.
"You got in the shower without me?" He said with an upset look on his face.
"Uh, yeah? I was supposed to sit in my wedding dress all night?" I scrunched my face up.
"Posed to sit in my wedding dress all night? No, bae I just wanted to you know, save some water," he winked his right eye making me turn back around away from him.
"Not tonight, I'm tired. We can just cuddle and fall asleep," I scrolled through YouTube, finding something to watch while Kojo took a shower. "What'd AJ say?"
"Tryna get out the game but why you ain't tell your brother? You know? I ain't wanna be moping around, he had me fucked up. But we straight, settled everything out so ain't no beef or nun." He shrugged, moving his arms out of the tux, and tossing it on my head.
I threw it back at him and rolled my eyes.
"I'ma hurt you,"
"You know better, I'm finna jump in the shower. Don't fall asleep on me,"
"I'm not, go get yo' stankin ass in the shower," I swatted my hand and put my eyes on my phone just looking at all the pointless memes and funny ass videos on social media.
"Aight," he walked in the shower and ran the water. "Genie, how you use up all the hot water?"
"What? I didn't even stay in there that long,"
"Cap, this water ice cold," he smacked his lips.
"Take a cold shower, you'll be aight,"
