The music was blasting over the speakers waves of people crashing around each other we sat there and watched at the bar well me Layla and Joy we're doing shots of Grey Goose not really having a care in the world it's a Friday night why not we work all week we deserve a little fun including Joy had her heart ripped out by her cheating ex-boyfriend but we took care of him when we beat his ass another round of shots were poured, we all counted down one two three we chugged them down the liquor sent a tingling sensation through my throat it was warm yet satisfying we slammed the shot glasses down and looked around the dance floor to see who is worth even dancing with shaking my head half of these guys in here look like players plus im not in the mood for any of that I just wanted to have a good time so we made our way to the dance floor.
"Bitch let's dance already"Layla screamed over the loud music I couldn't help it but giggle.
"Move that ass girllll"Joy said as she was swaying her hips as I begin to sway my hips.
"What the fuck did you think I'm doing Joy? You on the other hand are standing still move YOUR ass" Yelling over the music as I sway my hips as Layla laughs.
"Shake what your mama gave you bitchs!!" Layla says as drags us into middle of the dance floor.
The DJ blasted the music louder as our body's swayed to the beat glancing over to see Joy smiling when hours ago she was crying laughing it off flipping my hair around "Get it girl" hearing a guy say turning around rolling my eyes at him waving his ass off "um please don't" saying while hearing Layla laughing at the guy, I just brushed off pointing to the bar as Joy and Layla nod their heads 'yes' as we start to weave through the bodies of people on the dance floor just to get to the bar "Ay Bartender shots" Joy yells as me and Layla keep swaying our hips around "Got it" he yells back as we give him a thumbs up.
Looking around an see the guy I brushed off walking towards us turning around tapping on Layla an Joy's shoulders they look at me "Bitch boy" saying they turn their heads and saw him they laughed "FUCK HIM" they both yell as the bartender puts our shots down in front of us pulling out my card to pay but he waves me off "Your covered" he says before walking off taken other people's orders, raising my eyebrow I shrug it off "Fuck it" yelling as we down our shots but something seemed different about this liquor my throat was burning some but then it went to a cool sensation "weird" thought to myself but Layla an Joy pull me back on the dance floor lucky my high heels were not as high or I would have broke my neck by them pulling me.
As we got back on the dance floor we sway our body's to the rhythm of the music the stroke lights hitting our faces feelinh like somebody was watching me but at the moment I didn't really care Im having too much fun with my best friends glancing over and see Layla shaking her ass on Joy laughing as get in front of her and all three of us grind to the beat the atmosphere was pleasant filled with chatter laughter no fights broke out not yet at least but if it wasn't me or my friends I'm not worried about it, flipping my hair swing my hips a little faster to the beat as it begin to pick up Joy and Layla keeps on dance with one another as I'm right near them doing me "No way im leaving them" saying to myself slowly glancing around seeing a few drunk guys already looking for a one night stands but we're not that type of woman we have more respect for ourselves then that.
"Wanna dance"Three very sexy voices from the side of us Layla,Joy and Myself turnt our heads and saw who the voice belonged to we looked at one another "Sure" we say as all three of them walked towards us but the one in the middle caught my attention from what I could see he had tattoos and a few piercings which I have to admit look to very sexy on him and he's wearing a black v-neck t-shirt dark blue jeans with his hair slicked back "Shall we" he spoke with an Italian accent that made my heart race "We shall" saying as he takes my hand an leads me towards the middle of the dance floor, as we got to the middle feeling his hands go to my waist as I start to sway my hips as he pushed up agaisnt me as his hand slowly run up and down my side pushing back on him hearing him say something in Italian but I couldn't quite make it out due to the fact that he mumbled it and the music was blasting louder looking over at my friends to see them having a great time which makes me smile because we deserve it.
Our body's swayed together in perfect sync looking deep into his eyes they looked familiar or maybe it was just me he slid his index finger down my cheek that sent a sweet rush down my body I was about to say something to him but our moment was interrupted by Joy "DRINKS" she yelled turning around seeing her with at least 20 shots laughing walking over towards her hearing him let out a low growl or maybe I was just hearing things grabbing a shot looked at my two bestfriends and smiled "Down it bitchs" yelling before shooting the shot of liquor down my throat.
"Damn" hearing Layla say before she whipped off her bottom lip which a little liquor got on as Joy laughed shaking my head but feeling a hand land on my waist make me freeze for a moment turning to see it was the man I was dancing with smiling at me "May we join?" he asked I just nodded my head as he turnt to his friends and signaled them to come over.
"So where you guys from? Because your not from around here that's for damn sure"Layla spat as she took another shot and down it.
"New Jersey we have family there"The guy with the white bandanna stated.
"That's cool.. We know a few family's out that way full blooded Italians and can we say they know how to get down" Joy says as she starts to laugh as I shake my head.
"Joy slow down on the shots okay?" Saying as place my hand on my head.
"Oh let her go she seems to be having fun that's why you ladies are here no?" The guy with the beard quickly stated.
"Yess Aurora calm down she's fine we got her like we always do" Layla spat between laughs as I just sighed as I throw my shot back.
"Aurora? That's your name it's beautiful it fits you so well" The man I was dancing with whispers in my ear sending chills down my spine.
"And your names?"Spatting turning to him while folding my arms in front of me.
"Anthony" The man I was dancing stated quickly I was taken back on how fast he said it but I seen his eyes grew dark that I questioned him.
"Bryan"The guy next to Joy spat before smiling.
"Nic"The guy sitting near Layla said as he leaned back.
"Cool anyways.. Oh shit Aurora look over here"Layla said as I turn my head hearing a click of a camera as Joy laughed.
"Haha your so funny delete it I look ugly I bet"Slyly say covering my face but the guy Anthony moves my hand and smiles at me.
"I bet it doesn't"He says as he's eyes travel down towards my lips but we both hear a click and laughter.
"Aw that's cute send that to me I want it so I can posted on Instagram"Joy spat as she took another shot.
"No no no give that phone" Spatting reaching for Layla phone but the guy Bryan grabbed it and held it in the air for her.
"Haha you lose"Layla said as she stuck out her tongue.
"What are we all children again or something?"The guy Anthony stated and as he did he's friends froze up some.
"Nothing wrong with that, we had amazing childhood remember that girls" Saying winking at my two bestfriends as they laugh.
"Ohhhhhh yeahhhhh"They both say but at the corner of my eye I see the guy Anthony smile some 'weird'.
As we all sit there I get weird feeling I can't seem to shake off no matter how many shots I take "lady's room girls" saying standing up both Layla and Joy look at me for a second but jump or should I say Joy almost fell over, shaking my head while Layla helps Joy stand up straight "I'm good" Joy wines sighing helping Layla with Joy as we make our way to the lady's room which thank god wasn't far away from us,as we reach it me and Layla push the door open while trying to keep a hold Joy with out her falling over which we were successful to do so.
"Damn were good" Layla yelled laughing as we placed Joy on to a chair that was sitting in their it's not uncommon for that because works hands you stuff on the way out the restroom folding my arms and Layla and Joy both looked at me with wide eyes only thing you heard coming from them was "oh shit" or "oh fuck" yup my girls knew if I folded my arms in front of me it was fucking serious.
"Do you guys think it's a little strange on how those 'guys' are acting?" Asking they both start to think.
"Now that you mentioned it yeah I've noticed little things here and there" Layla says as she leans on the wall.
"I saw the one guy 'Bryan' stop the other guy 'Nic' from saying something" Joy says as she sits up straight in the chair.
"Or the guy 'Anthony' how he got when I questioned them about their names or when we were talking about our childhood he smiles like he kinda knew" Saying removing my arms from the front of my chest.
"Or their Italian accents, come on now New Jersey? Bull shit we've been there no one has a heavy accent like that there, hell not even your own family Aurora and your half Italian!" Layla yells covering her mouth as hush her.
"But Layla is right, so what do we do?" Joy asks as she gets up with out stumbling this time.
"Play along until we leave which will be soon okay, they will unfold no one is that good"Spatting as they both nod there heads but we stop when someone walks in.
We leave the lady's room an make our way back to the table to see all three men talking about something and by their facial expressions it wasn't good because they all had a pissed-off almost murderous look on their faces clearing our throats to get their attention all three of them snap their heads at us and their facial expressions changed instantly from murderous too lovey-dovey in a slip second rasing my eyebrow "bi-polar much?"saying to myself looking over to Layla and Joy they have to be thinking the same thing I am, noticing our discomfort all three men stand up and pull out our stools for us to sit down as we sit down watching the so called guy 'Anthony' closely for some odd reason it feels like I've meet him before but where I don't know as a sigh escapes my mouth he takes notice and places hand on mine and gives me a worried look shaking my head smiling trying to recover what just happened as feeling a kick from underneath the table "Ouch" saying as rubbing my leg some looking at Layla who whispers 'sorry' shaking my head and take a sip of my water that's in front of me.
"So what are you lady's doing tomorrow during the day?" So called Anthony asks while looking straight at me.
"Staying home maybe just relaxs why do you ask?"Saying leaning back as little to watch his facial expression and eyes to see if they would change like before.
"We wanted to take you lady's out on a lunch date" The guy Nic says flatly.
"Oh sounds like fun" Layla says as she takes a shot but I notice the guy Nic smiling at what Layla said 'hmm'.
"I want cookie dough" Joy wines as I start to laugh.
"You want cookie dough? Really?" The guy Bryan says before he laughs.
"We'll get some cookie dough at home, I promise" Saying rubbing her shoulder lightly as she nods her head.
"Well how about we go outside on the balcony and get some night are"The so called guy Anthony says as she takes my hand and pulls me some.
"Join us !"Kinda yell of as Layla and Joy pick up on my panic attack,seeing the so called guy Anthony's eyes go dark a little before he sighs.
"We're coming"Both Layla and Joy yell as they pull they other two guys with them as seeing they did the same thing as so called 'Anthony'.
As we stand on the balcony the cool breeze gently hits my face causing me to sober up some so I could stay focus looking up to the starry sky still hearing the music blasting from inside the club felling a pair of hands wrap around my waist it startles me and letting out a gasp that moving away "it's only me" hearing turning to face 'Anthony' placing my hand on my chest and slowly control my breathing I've always been a little jumpy when somebody puts their hands on me and I have my reasons why just I won't go there glaning into the so-called Anthony's eye seeing mixed emotions flowing through them he lets out a heavy sigh and takes two of his fingers and caresses my cheek for some reason this reminds me of something when I was a kid "but what" thought, hearing Layla and Joy laughter it broke the spell like moment as watching his jaw clench of frustration which made me feel kind of uneasy to say but before I could say word my phone began to go off reaching in my bag to find it sighing because I really need to remember to clean this bag out finally find it unlocking it seeing it's a text message from my father.
Looking up at the guy 'Anthony' "excuse me" saying as lower my head moving away from him hearing him sigh heavily but Layla and Joy walk over towards me to see if everything is alright giving them a nod opening the text message my eyes grow wide reading what my father had sent me, without any hesitation Layla grabs my phone and reads the text message along with joy "No way" they both say which catches a guy's attention it seemed like time had slow down as everybody was moving in slow motion my heart began to race next thing I knew I'm falling over hearing "Aurora amora mio" before falling into a pit of darkness.
It was like I was in a dream watching a young girl asking the most simplest question to a boy I'd used to know "what does mio amore mean?" as the boy just laughed "means my love"only thing the young girl could do was smile but the dream was stopped hearing my name being yelled several times fluttering my eyes open coming face-to-face with Layla and Joy who are look like they've been crying.
"Oh god your awake" They both yelled as they pinned me down shake my head before a deep voice broke us up "Let her breath!" looking past them and see 'Anthony' everything in me was scream run bitch but no my pride took over as Layla and Joy got off of me leaning up and tilting my head to the right before getting up and fixing my dress shotting him a glare which doesn't even bugg him it only makes him raise and eyebrow at me.
"Let me ask you something 'Anthony' , who the hell are you really?"Spatting taking a step foward being daring.
"What do you mean? I'm the one who cared you in here after you read a text message that your father had sent you" 'Anthony' says in a calm tone but he's eyes showed furry in them.
"Aurora..." Both Layla an Joy start to say but or stopped by Nic and Bryan who shook their heads but Layla flips them both off.
"The fucking truth right now!" Yelling which makes the 'Anthony' very pissed off to the point he moved from where he was to in front of me.
"Don't push me"He said through his crunching teeth as shoving him back.
"NOW!" Yelling one more time but deep down everything inside me told me to stop shut up.
"You wanna know FINE! It's me Vincenzo yes I'm back honey and I know everything"He spat as I watch his eyes go darker then ever.
"Then that's Arturo and Guido"Layla says as she takes a step foward along with Joy.
"Yes Layla and Joy" Both Arturo and Guido said as they watched for the next move.
"Now come with me Aurora dont make me do it by force"Vincenzo says as I watch his eyes go softer I shake my head.
"Hell no ! Who the hell do you think you are coming back into our lives thinking it's okay to 'Lie' about your names?" Spatting feeling two arms holding me back I know I'm seeing red.
"She's got a big point!" Layla yelled as Arturo walked toward Layla.
"No way"Joy stated as Guido did the same as Arturo.
The air in the room I woke up in seems thick no one is saying a word which honestly is aggravating me to no end all seeing Vincenzo look at Arturo and Guido as if they we're having a conversation with their eyes shaking my head grabbing my bag heading for the door Layla and Joy right behind me to leave, but before we could open the door we hear "Don't try to leave" come out of Vincenzo mouth me being a smart ass opening the door and we make our grand exit noticing that we are still at the club "Home" saying as we make our way to the exit doors we're still in shock that they are here I can't believe they would lie about their names who does that unless they have something to hide.
"Arturo has changed so much I can't believe thats him..." Layla says as she shakes her head as me and Joy sigh.
"Guido to.. I mean did you see how he looks I can't believe I thought he was sexy"Joy says before covering her mouth as me and Layla laugh.
"How about Vincenzo he's so different not like I remember him and to think I would have giving him my fucking number HA ! " Saying as we all burst into laugher.
"You still can Aurora" Vincenzo voice comes at of no where that sends chills down my spin.
"Layla I wasn't the only one to change my Angel"Arturo says as he comes out the shadows as me and my best friend look confused on how they even knew where we had our car.
"Joy my sunshine your still as beautiful as ever"Guido says he comes out from the shadows from the other side.
"Just stop!!" Me and my bestfriends yell As we watch all three of them stand in front of the car.
"You asked a question did you not? You asked who the hell I was remember mio amore before I told you not to leave but yet you left with out my answer"Vincenzo says in a mocking tone which start to piss me off.
"I don't care..Have a nice life"Saying before getting into the car.
As we pull away I see mixed emotions written all over their faces I'm not going to lie my heart is clenching Vincenzo was my first crush he's always held a special place in my heart but to avoid the whole situation driving off at least doing 75 miles an hour thank goodness my car is a Hellcat Dodge Charger with a whole lot of power in it, Layla turns some music on to lighten up our mood in which it does as we sing nearly every song that places even though we can't sing well we're just having a blast trying to forget the whole damn night ever happened "Cookie dough" Joy says which causes me and Layla laugh because it was just random and didn't fit the song at all.
After 40 minutes down the road we pull up to our house that we share I park my car into garage and we get out as Layla opens the door as we walk in well more like Joy ran into the kitchen and grabbed the cookie dough while shaking her hips while passing me and Layla as she walks past us to head up the stairs, shaking my head locking the door and make sure the back door is locked the corner of my eye I thought seeing someone standing in our backyard quickly making sure the door is locked taking off my heels run towards the stairs running up the stairs to my room locking the door behind me "no one was there" saying to myself before slowly taken off my dress tossing it on the chair gathering my pajamas and makeup remover before I head into the bathroom to jump in a quick shower.
After my shower feeling much better but soon that all changed returning to my room to find Vincenzo sitting on my bed gasping he's head snapped in my detection standing there frozen in fear knowing I locked the doors "Aurora please" he spoke softly looking at him he held his hand out for me to take still frozen in fear he sighs walks up to me and grabs my hand pulling me towards the bed, everything in me was screaming to fight but my body just moved on its own he layed me down as he sat on the edge of the bed "Vincenzo" sayinhg in a small whisper seeing him smile at how I said his name he leans down towards me before I could move he's lips were on mine I felt sparks erupt though out my whole body like I once felt before with him as children playing an innocent game our kiss grew more passionate but he pulls away as I try to catch my breath.
"Listen to me Aurora you are mine, I know about the deal our fathers made I ran across the paper that your dad signed in and sealed with his stamp. You might know this now but my father was the Mafia King and he took he's deals very serious and your father knew that and yet he made the deal with him, I know it was to help with your surgery to save your life because your father didn't have it all but yet had enough money to buy a new house and car after your surgery, I bet you never knew about that did you? Do you wanna know the real reason why your dad took the deal? Because your father was in a whole lot of trouble with some drug dealer and need my father to kill the person who attacked you and almost killed you that night after we left, and my father did because he need your father alive because he was his lawyer that and he knew I had feelings for you Aurora an yet I still do. Yes my father made the same deals with Layla and Joy's family because he was being a selfish ass hole that and he probably thought of his own power but he's dead now and..."Vincenzo says as I'm left so confused about everything and what if he was telling the truth.
"And what? Are you the.." Start to say but he cuts me off.
"The new mafia king ? Yes I am but I keep that life separated from everything else even from you my sweet Aurora please give us a try you know you felt sparks like I did and I'm sorry for the lie at the club" Vincenzo says as he kisses my cheek.
"I need to think about all of this Vincenzo"Saying while looking down as I feel his hand rub my arm softly.
"Okay my love get some sleep I'll be back tomorrow night for my answer" Vincenzo says before placing a kiss on my lips once more.
"How did you get in anyways?" Spatting jumping up off the bed while folding my arms across my chest causing him to laugh.
"I'm the Mafia King I have my ways" Vincenzo says as he leave my room leaving me in shock.
Im left standing here with more questions than answers from all the information he just threw at my lap to say I'm shocked would be an understatement shaking my head I get back into bed I can't even sleep nor close my eyes hearing the door open my heart starts to race thinking it's him again but to my surprise I see Layla and Joy with concerned written all over their faces I scoot over to the middle of my bed and they jump right in which causes me to laugh along with them all three of us must had gotten similar information because I can tell one thing nobody's going to sleep tonight, but nope I was wrong looking side-to-side seeing both of my best friends with their eyes closed letting out a light giggle closing eyes just to try to get some sleep and in the morning we'll figure this all out and what's our next move because I want the truth even if it means I have to run from Vincenzo the Mafia King himself to get thinking about it it would be interesting we always did like the game chase when we were younger I'm wondering how far he would go I know I'm willing to do it.
"Let the chase begin"I say under my breath as I close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
