When it came to interviews, Chaehyun never tried hard with his appearance. His stylist would often try and switch up his style, however, whenever she returned he would be back into the clothes he turned up in, there was no fighting him either. He always requested the minimal amount of makeup and often messed up his hair by ruffling it back into his own style.
He didn't see the point in getting all dressed up for a 10-20 minute interrogation. Of course he understood that he would be on camera, but why was it any different to the Vlives? He never fully understood the entire concept of 'fame' and stuck to what he knows best.
Walking to the back, he was about to pull up his hood when Taeyong caught his hand, offering him a warning glance. Scoffing quietly, he was about to sit down at the back, but his arm was soon grabbed and he was placed in between Jaehyun and Taeyong right at the front. The younger boy sighed and relaxed back into the seat, hardly noticing the eyes that had been set on him.
It was only around five minutes into the interview had he realised that someone was sneaking glances at him. Lifting his head from the ground, his eyes immediately locked with the lady interviewing them. A tint of red appeared on her cheeks after realizing she'd been caught and Chaehyun couldn't keep the smirk off his lips as he leaned back to look at the person standing behind him.
Head tilted back, he grinned at Sicheng. "She's got a thing for me," mouthed the younger boy, making sure he couldn't be seen by the camera. His elder chuckled, patting the younger boys cheek before lifting his head up and once again, as Sicheng's hands left his head, Chaehyun locked eyes with the interviewer, only this time he sent her an evident smirk causing her stutter over her words slightly.
Taeyong nudged his arm as the younger boy snickered to himself quietly. Rolling his eyes, Chaehyun folded his arms and to save her anymore embarrassment, he looked away and focused on Jungwoo who was answering a question.
"Lachlan." She caught him mid yawn. Dropping his hand, he turned to look at her and nodded, indicating her to ask the question. As she looked down at her card, he noticed her eyes flash with embarrassment. He bit back a smirk and waited patiently for her to start talking. "The people would like to know...are you in a relationship?"
The people or you? Deciding that they weren't the right words, Chaehyun let out a sigh, leaning back in his chair to stretch whilst he thought out a way to answer the question.
"I might be."
Chaehyun smiled in satisfaction, knowing how blunt his answer was. Watching his interviewer sink in her chair slightly, looking a little defeated, Chaehyun shifted his gaze to Mark as the next question was aimed at him.
"Nice save, you probably just irritated every single fan out there," chuckled Taeyong from beside him lowly.
Lachlan smirked. "Annoying people is what I do best."
