"Go away"
With his back pressed against the wall as he watched his members run through the choreography, hood covering his dark hair and strings pulled tight, there was a visible pout on his lips. Rolling his eyes, Yuta scoffed and slid down and sat beside the younger male.
Reaching over, he loosened the hoodie and slid it off of Chaehyun's head, ignoring the deathly glare he received in return. Chaehyun wanted to throw the hood back up and then curl up into a ball, but he knew none of his members would allow it.
"What's wrong with you today?" Asked Taeil moving to sit on the other side of the frowning male.
Chaehyun shrugged, staring right ahead. The others were off in their own mini conversations, leaving the two boys to talk it through with the pouty Chaehyun. Shoving a piece of gum in his mouth, Chaehyun closed his eyes as the watermelon flavour exploded in his mouth.
Taeil and Yuta shared a look, knowing that Chaehyun only chewed gum when he was desperate for a cigarette, meaning something was certainly bothering him.
"Is this about Dahyun?" It was clear in the slowness of his tone that Yuta was unsure on whether asking the question was the best idea, but when he noticed Chaehyun's lips press into a thin line and his eyes travel towards the floor, he knew he cracked it.
"We broke up."
His words were so simple, almost sharp but behind the cold exterior, the two cold see that he was holding back the urge to cry. Chaehyun was never one to open up or even show his emotions, but it was clear to see that he had a soft spot for her. He tried to act cool about their relationship, never fully went into detail, but everybody who knew about the relationship could tell just how much she meant to him.
Nodding slowly, Taeil let out a small sigh. "It happens, bud. How about you have some water because I haven't seen you drink a drop of anything today and then you get on your feet and just distract yourself by practising? I'm not saying you have to, if you feel the need to sit out-"
"I need to distract myself," mumbled Chaehyun, lifting himself onto his feet and stretching out his limbs.
Yuta pat his back with a smile. "You have girls falling at your feet. Don't let one girl bring down your mood."
"Yeah, but all those other girls aren't her," huffed the younger male before shaking his head. "It doesn't matter. Let's just get this done with."
Taeil threw him a bottle of water to which he sent a grateful nod and twisted the cap, pulling it off of the bottle before pouring the liquid into his mouth. Placing the water bottle down by the wall, Chaehyun's fingers dug into his hair and he began to ruffle it making it all fall into one place, laying on his head messily. Throwing his hood up, only the front of his black hair exposed, he got into position.
