I've been in the bathroom for about an hour. I don't know what to say or think. Some woman calls claiming to be my mom.
(Knock knock)
"October it's me can I come in?"
I open the door to let Dominic in.
"Are you ok?"
"I don't know. I have no idea if I'm ok. I don't know what to do?"
"Come here."
He opens his arms and just holds me.
"When was the last time you and your adopted mom talked?"
"Before I started dating you."
"So six months ago?"
"Yeah."
"Maybe you should call her and let her know what happened and see what her opinion is."
"That's actually not a bad idea baby."
"Are you hungry?"
"Very actually."
"Well no one else has eaten since you've been in here. So wanna go out to the main room and eat?"
"Yeah."
"It's gonna be ok baby."
He squeezes me tightly.
We walk out of the bathroom.
I sit on the couch next to Lynn and lay my head on her shoulder. She hugs my head.
"You ok bestie?"
"I don't know."
Dominic hands me a bottle of soda. The boys bought Chinese food. I sat up off of Lynn's shoulder and started to eat.
After I ate I walked over to the chair Dominic was sitting in and sat in his lap. I curled up into his chest.
I hate getting depressed like this. I haven't left like this in a long time. At least I have friends and my husband around me this time.
"Dominic?"
"Yeah baby girl?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Of course love ask me anything you want."
"When you suggested coming here to Vegas did you have the marriage already in your head?"
"Honestly?"
"Yes."
"Yeah I did. I told Dimitri several times when we were on tour when I get back home I'm marrying that girl."
"He said that at least once a week."
"Wow. I don't know what to say."
He leans down and kisses my forehead.
"After breaking up with my ex I never thought I'd have these feelings again.
Then this raven haired beauty showed up front row."
I giggle.
"Hey do Michael and Shawn know?"
"Not yet."
"You know they're gonna be pissed you didn't have a bachelor party."
"Like those two need a reason to go to a strip club."
We all laugh.
"Let's go out and do something."
"You really up to that baby girl?"
"Might take my mind off things."
"Where do you wanna go?"
"I want chocolate. Let's go to New York New York. They have a Reese's store."
"Feeling crampy?"
"No just depressed. Besides that was last week."
He laughs.
"Good to know. I'm sorry I can't do anything for you."
"It's ok just you holding me is enough."
"I'm actually feeling crampy. Let's get some chocolate!"
"It's blow job week for me!"
Dominic and I laugh.
"Oh hey New York New York has that rollercoaster!"
"October and I aren't allowed to ride rollercoasters."
I start laughing.
"Why not?"
"When we were 16 we went to a carnival and we did what normal 16 year olds do.
We stuffed our face with a bunch of greasy food. Then we went on the rollercoaster.
Luckily we made it to a trashcan before puking our guts out!"
"Then her crazy religious mom called us children of the anti-christ! We were laughing so hard for days!"
"And if I'm correct that's also when I first discovered the beautiful voice of Dominic Kinkaid!"
"October had a giant poster of you over her bed!"
"Oh really? Did the tape ever give out?"
"Shut up! Lynn had a cardboard cut out of Dimitri! That she ruined in the shower!"
"You bitch!"
We all started laughing.
"Ok let's go ride a rollercoaster buy some chocolate and then go out to dinner."
I climbed off Dominic so he could get up.
"Are we suppose to call to let the driver know or is he just chilling down there?"
"We call the front desk to let them know."
After we called down to let them know we're leaving we all head downstairs.
We get to New York New York and there was screaming girls everywhere!
"Maybe we should have bodyguards too!"
"I've got your body perfectly guarded."
Dominic wraps his arms around me.
Lynn and I are kinda new at this but the guys walk through the crowd like it's no big deal.
"Have you girls fully digested your lunches?"
We both answer simultaneously.
"Yes!"
Then we both laugh.
"I promise not to puke."
"We could go to the Stratosphere."
"Fuck that! No way in hell."
"October doesn't like heights."
"Yeah I discovered that on the plane."
"I'm not afraid of heights. I'm afraid of falling."
"I think you already fell." Dominic whispers into my ear.
After the rollercoaster and spending way too much money on chocolate. We ate dinner and Dominic and I went back to our room.
"How are you feeling about everything?"
"Physical I'm sore. Emotionally I feel drained. I don't know what to do. I'm 22 why now?
Why not the other 17 years of my life? Why does she care now all of a sudden?"
"I have no clue baby but you won't either unless you see her."
"Yeah I know. You ready to go to bed?"
"Yeah."
We both undress and get into bed. He pulls me close to him and I drift off.
I get woken up the next morning by loud banging on the door.
"Dominic go see who's at the door."
"It's probably housekeeping they'll go away."
"Just go."
"Fine."
He gets out of bed and throws a pair of basketball shorts on.
I'm laying in bed and all I can hear is yelling.
I grab his shirt and put it on. I walk out to the living room area and there's some guy with Dominic.
"Um what's going on?"
"What's going on little lady is you two are getting divorced."
"Wait what?"
