Dans POV:
I'd be watching television right now if it wasn't for my mind taking my other places when I trying to focus on something. Sometimes it would either be to contemplate death but not this time, this time I'm questioning what it would be like to have kids. I mean yeah phil and I have talked about adopting but I don't think I'm ready for it.
Maybe one day have a small child running around the apartment, giggling as one of us chases after him or her.
"Earth to Dan?" Phil said catching my attention and pulling me away from my thoughts.
"Sorry, what did you want?" I asked now Turning my attention back to phil.
"The show went off and you've got the remote." Phil said.
"Oh sorry." I Said handing him the remote.
"What were you thinking about?" He asked.
I wonder how Phil would actually react to this, even though we've talked about adopting doesn't mean we will.
"What do you think about adopting?" I asked, Phil expression was good he smiled when I mentioned it.
"I'd love to adopt someday, but are we ready for it now? Would we be able to take a Are of a smaller child." Phil said.
"I agree, maybe if we ever get a bigger apartment or a house somewhere" I replied as Phil scooted closer toward me turning off the television as well.
"Well, we could try adopting it's not like we don't have room for a child because we definitely do." Phil said and I adjusted how I was sitting and rested my head on his shoulder.
"If we ever adopted, Do you think we'd be good parents?" I asked.
"I'm pretty sure we would, You're great with children anyways." Phil explained.
We spent the rest of the evening just talking about the future if we eve adopted. I think that talking about this made us want to adopt even more.
