I don't see Dan for the rest of the day. I want to believe that it was Anthony who didn't want to hang around me, but maybe Dn found a better friend, and I'm not his friend anymore. I'm overreacting, I hope. I spend the day with Pj and Chris; two people who keep themselves in the shadow, so it's strange to actually talk with them.
Once I get back to my flat, I open the fridge and crack open a bottle of beer. I don't drink often, but I do occasionally; when I want something to distract me, and now is one of these times. I fall back onto the sofa and sip out of the cold bottle, letting the destructive liquid run down my throat.
