phil sighed, twisting and turning constantly, waiting for the sleep to come to him but nothing was happening. he was too used to sleeping with dan and it felt unnatural when he was not there, cuddled into his side. he ran a hand through his hair, grabbing his phone from the nightstand and hesitantly opening snapchat. he thought about it for a moment, whether he should text dan on not, before he just shook his head and typed a quick text to him.
philly: hey
he waited for a few seconds and much to his surprise, there was a reply almost immediately.
danhowell: phil? why are you awake it's like 3 am?
philly: even ur awake
danhowell: yeah but i was thinking about life why are you awake?
philly: i was thinking about you
danhowell: oh
philly: yeah
danhowell: well, um, do you want me to do something about it?
philly: you won't come here and lie with me like i did
danhowell: well
