Monday Morning
Amirah's POV
I woke up at 6:15 to get ready for school. I don't have to wake up this early but I choose to. Since Halloween I've just been feeling heartless and not having any feelings towards anything. I guess I'm slowly getting over Marcus as he post more and more pictures and videos with other girls.
Emphasis on the word slowly btw.
I did my hygiene and then went to cream and get dressed into my school uniform. I sat at my dressing tables and brushed my curls and then slicked my hair up into a ponytail and it was mad curly. I think I might dip dye it 💭
I went over to my desk and packed my Nike air bag for school and then went downstairs.
I wasn't really feeling breakfast but I knew I had to eat something so I had a bowl of honey Cheerios and by the time I finished it was 7:17 so I left for school.
I don't normally take bus to school. I like to walk. Gives me some time to think.

When I got to school, I went to the music department to see my favourite teacher, Mr Wilkinson
"Hi sir" I smiled
He turned back and smiled at me "Hi Amirah, you okay?"
"I'm fine"
He looked at me with a look of concern so I quickly changed the subject
"Did you manage to fix my guitar string?"
"Oh, Yh I did" he stood up and went to get my guitar
I play guitar and piano btw. If I'm not with Dylan at break and lunch I normally come to the music department. I come before and after school sometimes.
"Thanks sir" he said handing to me
"You're welcome"
I sat down and tested it out and it was good as new.
"Sir can I do some singing?"
"Sure you can, you know where the room is" he smiled
I walked into the room and set up the sound system and got the song I wanted to sing ready and out on the headphones. I faced away from the glass window because I can never face people when I'm singing.

Dylan's POV
I walked in half way through Mirah singing and I was actually amazed. She never told me she could sing. When she told me she came to the music department I only thought it was to play guitar or the piano. I sat down with mr wilkinson and listened to her sing. Her voice is actually beautiful. When she stopped singing she, stopped recording and took off her headphones and she turned around to face me and Mr Wilkinson and she look startled
"Um did you hear any of that?" She asked me
"Mmhmm" I smiled "you're amazing"
She smiled and looked down to the floor "thanks"
"Told you Amirah" Mr Wilkinson smiled
The bell went for registration so we said bye to sir and walked to form together
"Why didn't you tell me you could sing"
She shrugged
"Well your voice is beautiful"
"Thank you"
"How you feeling?"
"I'm fine"
"Mirah" I sighed
She looked up at me
"You don't have to lie you kno"
"Hi Dylan" a group of girls smiled at me walking past
"Yo"
I looked back at Amirah
She sighed and looked down "my heart aches"
I gave her a hug
"You'll start feeling better soon Mirah. Trust me."
