There she is. Liam thought to himself as he saw Y/N in front of her locker, pulling out books from her bag and placing them inside her locker. You can do this. It's not that hard.
"You know, you actually have to walk to her to ask her out, right?" Mason chuckled. bringing Liam out of his thoughts.
"I know," Liam glared back at Mason. "Just give me a minute." Liam took a deep breath and stood still for a few seconds. "Am I moving yet?"
"Just go!" Mason pushed Liam towards Y/N's direction.
Liam shoved his hands in his front jean pockets as he walked down the hallway. His heart was beating out of his chest with each step. He stopped as soon as he stood behind her open locker door, hoping to surprise her when she closed the door. Except his plan backfired when she accidentally hit her locker door with a book, making it swing backwards, and smacking Liam in the face.
Liam let out a soft groan and a gasp immediately escaped Y/N's lips.
"Oh, my gosh!" Y/N exclaimed. "Are you alright, Liam?" She slammed her locker door shut.
"I'm fine," Liam rubbed his forehead.
"Let me see," Y/N cupped his face gently with her hands.
Liam's Adam's apple bobbed up and down as he swallowed nervously at her warm touch and how close her face was front of his. He's never been this close to her and it was making him extremely nervous.
"You're perfectly fine." Y/N smiled. "I'm sorry."
"It's o-okay," Liam whispered. Liam cleared his throat and spoke up a little bit louder. "Umm, hey Y/N."
"Hi, Liam," She giggled with her hands still on her face. "Oops. Sorry." She removed her hands from his cheeks.
God, why did she have to smile that beautiful smile? Liam shook his thoughts away. "Umm, I have a question.... I was wondering," Liam's scratched the back of his neck. "Well I, umm," Liam cleared his throat. God, why did she have to make me so nervous?
Y/N eyebrows furrowed wondering what's wrong with Liam and why couldn't he just get out whatever he was trying to say. She was beginning to wonder how hard she might have hit him.
Crap, why is she looking at me like that? Do I have something one my face? OMG say something!
"WouldYouLikeToGoOutWithMeThisWeekend," Liam rushed out.
Wow. Liam closed his eyes from embarrassment. Could you have been anymore smoother?
Y/N giggled as she saw his cheeks turning slightly pink. She wasn't expecting him to ask her out, but he did, and he was so nervous about it. She couldn't help but find it adorable.
"I'd love to, Liam."
Liam's eyes opened to see her beaming. "Really?"
"Yes." She pulled out a piece of paper and a pen from her bag. She scribbled her number in black ink and handed it over to Liam. "Text me." She leaned in and gave Liam a quick peck on his cheek. "I gotta go to class."
The shade of pink on Liam's cheek grew a little darker.
Liam saw her walking away and then disappear as she walked into a classroom. Liam couldn't help but smile. She had said yes. She agreed to go out with him. He was on cloud nine.
"Now was that so hard?" Mason asked.
