Today was not a good day.
You may be wondering why. Well, the members were a bit agitated and annoyed at their situation.
But Baby Chan had no idea that his members being in a bad mood would have such a negative effect on his day.
That was, until now.
"Oh sweetie, don't bite that toy.", Minho said.
Chan squinted at him, which he always did to show he was upset.
"No reason to be upset, tiny man. Just don't bite your toy."
Chan stopped biting his patrick star figurine and now played with the rest of his toys on the table.
Minho sat back in the seat of the couch, sighing.
Jisung walked in the door, followed by Changbin, putting down their practice bags.
"Hey, you guys take Chan.", Minho said standing up.
"What? No. Come on Minho we just got home.", Jisung said.
"Yeah well I've been here alone with him this whole time. I have stuff to do."
Minho walked away.
Jisung and Changbin went to sit by Chan.
The little watched Minho leave, a small pout on his face.
"Where baba going?", Chan asked.
"I don't know.", Changbin said, taking out his laptop.
Jisung did the same, the pair virtually ignoring Chan.
The little just continued to play with his toys, rolling around on the living room floor as any normal toddler would.
"Vroom! Vroom!", he yelled.
"Chan, be a little quieter please.", Jisung said, putting on his headphones.
Chan squinted at him, now quietly zooming his toy limo that replaced the assorted spongebob figurines.
The little tried to play with his fellow members, but they ignored him.
Felix, Hyunjin, Jeongin, and Seungmin, who had a separate activity apart from the other members, returned home together.
"Hey one of you watch Chan.", Changbin said getting up and walking off.
"What? Hey don't just pin him on us like that!", Seungmin said.
"We have to work guys, you can watch him for a little bit.", Jisung said, following Changbin.
Chan watched them leave, feeling more upset by the minute.
Why did no one want to play with him, or even stay with him in the room?
"Hyunjin you watch him.", Felix said.
"No, come on I just got here. I don't want to watch a little."
"We all just got here! None of us do.", Jeongin said.
"Well someone has to.", Seungmin said, "We can't leave him alone."
"Aish, so annoying! I guess I'll do it. But only for a little bit. Then someone else has to switch in. I have a meeting later."
Hyunjin went to sit by Chan while the other members ran off to their rooms.
Little Chan was in his own world, playing with his toys, and occasionally talking to Hyunjin.
At least someone talked to him and didn't completely ignore him.
But his relief was short lived, as the members continued to rotate between who was watching Chan.
They all seemed annoyed that they had to watch Chan, as if he was an inconvenience to them.
By the time Jeongin was watching him, Chan was no longer little.
He was just angry.
"Chan? Is something wrong? Why are you pouting?", Jeongin asked.
Chan turned to him.
"I should be asking you that? Do you even want to be watching me? I bet you have better things to do right?"
"I-"
"Save it, Jeongin."
Chan stood up, taking his bag of action figures.
"I'm sorry that my need to have a safe place to relieve my stress is such an inconvenience for you all."
The leader went up to his room, slamming the door.
Minho magically appeared from the kitchen, going to Jeongin.
"I think he's mad."
"Oh no shit?"

A few days had went by.
It was revealed in the media that a scandal at JYP involving stolen money by a staff member, had started to effect the groups income.
But the Stray Kids members weren't worried about that anymore.
They were thinking about Chan.
He hadn't gone back into his headspace in around three days.
Everytime a member tried to talk to him about it, he ignored them.
"He's still mad at us?", Felix questioned.
"I mean we did act kind of rude to him.", Jisung said.
"But we were all super busy, he has to understand that.", Changbin said.
"But Chan trusts us to care for little him. And he basically acted like we didn't care about that.", Hyunjin told them.
"So what do we do?", Seungmin asked.
"We have to find a way to get him to slip again. We need to apologize.", Jeongin said.
"We've done that like 80 times. He's not hearing it.", Minho said.
Jeongin stood up.
"No one can resist my cute face forever. I got this."
Jeongin started to walk to Chan's room.
"Good luck little soldier!", Felix said.
"Let's hope Chan doesn't finally snap and subtracts our poor maknae.", Seungmin said, looking up at the ceiling and shaking his head.
Jeongin was now upstairs, and carefully knocked on the door to Chan's room.
"Go away please."
"I'm coming in."
"I specifically requested the opposite."
"Requests are just that, an option."
Jeongin walked into Chan's room. The leader was sitting at his desk, looking up details on the company scandal from Twice menber Sana's secret Twitter page she uses to pretend to be a Once.
"Jeongin, I don't want to talk."
"Then let me talk."
Jeongin sat down on Chan's bed.
"Let me first say that we have no excuse for how we acted. Yes, we were stressed because of the impending reveal of the scandal and how it would effect us. Yes, we had extensive schedules and deadlines. But...you're our leader, and we should have cared more."
Chan still looked at his computer.
"I'm sorry hyung. I know we have said this many times, but we really mean it. We love you and never want you to feel upset like that again. We do care about you, and we want you to have that safe space with us."
Chan was listening, but didn't look at the maknae.
Jeongin decided to use his best move.
He stood up, sighing.
"But...if you don't want to talk to me...I'll just leave. And...I won't bother you again."
The maknae started to walk to the door.
Chan quickly got up and ran to Jeongin, hugging him from behind.
"No go Innie! I love you!"
Jeongin turned around, hugging the little back.
"There you are sweetie! I missed you. It's been like...eight years."
"That long time."
"Hehehe, okay it's been three days. But...I still missed your cute pouty face."
"I no have pouty face."
"You do."
"I not."
"Oh you do. It's so cute. You look like a tiny little bratz doll."
Chan squinted at him, stopping the hug.
"Alright I won't say it again."
Chan just stared at him.
"Okay I'll say it again at least seven times today. But that's it, I promise."
Chan hugged him again.
"Now let's go downstairs. I think Jisung and Changbin are plotting to spoil you with your favorite food as another apology."
"You carry me Innie?"
Jeongin thought about whether or not he could carry Chan.
"You know what. Let's try. But if I drop you down the stairs, don't sue me."
