POV Eos
So... the fights were still going on. Actually, my match was the last one on the list and it was against Team Black Satan of whatever. This meant that the one that will win this Rating Game will be the last to qualify. The nine other teams that qualified are Team Red Dragon Emperor of the Blazing Truth, Team White Dragon Empress of the Morning Star, Team Slash/Dog Team Trump Card of Heaven, Team Babel Belial, Team Leizure of the Kings, Team Imperial Purpure, Team Spear of the Heavenly Emperor and Team Vajra.
Rias got eliminated by Dulio. What's funny is that most members are members of DxD. That's not surprising in the slightest but still funny.
I switched members from my team. Kuroka was replaced by Gabriel while Ingvild got replaced by Latia. Ingvild was not tired but I had something to ask from her. These guys... they're sus...picious... First of all, their leader is a Grim Reaper and then they have only four Devils. Devils with a Grim Reaper... that's definitly out of the ordinary. Oh well, we'll beat them anyway since I'm back to my full strenght.
POV 3rd Person
Ajuka: Hello everyone! I am Ajuka Beelzebub and I will be your host for this last game of the first round of the Azazel Cup! This match will oppose Team Black Satan of the Darkness Dragon King, led by the Grim Reaper Zeno. They are opposed by Team of the Utopic Golden Nephilim, led by the Super Devil, Eos Infernus! Please, welcome both teams with thunderous applause!
As both teams walked in, Eos kept his eyes on the skeleton before him. Next to him was a girl who looked in her late teens with long jade-green hair, her name was Verrine. Then was a tall man in his early twenties. He had bronze colored hair. He was Balberith. The fourth member was a two meter tall giant with black hair and eyes. That was Gressil. The final one was a skinny short man with dark circles and dark grey hair. His name was Sonnelion.
Eos: I hope that this is a great game, Lord Zeno.
But the Grim Reaper didn't even look at him. Instead, watching over the two last members who were apparently very impatient to start the fight.
Latia went to Eos' ear.
Latia: Their auras, you feel it to right? They seem like pure bloods but are not at the same time.
The man nodded at his Queen.
Ajuka: Then, everyone shall be teleported in 3! 2! 1!
The battlefield was Agreas. At least, a reproduction of it. Every team was in their own corner.
Rossweisse: These guys are quite strange.
Eos: They're artificial Devils.
Latia: What?! So they truly exist?!
Eos: It seems so, yes. But honestly, I have no idea how they were created. We fought some on Agreas when I killed Rizevim but that's about it...
Crom: Hades gave Rizevim those weapons.
Gabriel: And... were they on that level?
Crom: Absolutely not. These guys, especially the two calmer ones are insanely powerful.
Eos: Yes. Actually, they could be Super Devils.
Roygun: Super?! Don't be ridiculous, that would mean that they'd be on your level!
Eos: What I said, yes. I cannot read these guys and they seem to change strategy every now and then. I genuinly have no plan. Fight in groups and survive.
Valerie: Wait. Ingvild and I looked into their history. Before the Cup began, teams that were not known by the authorities had to pass tests. And they were on a loosing streak. That was before these four came around. They were even able to beat a team composed of Aztec Gods.
Eos: Like I said. Be careful.
The King then flew away. His goal was clear, take out Zeno before things would get dangerous.
On the other side, things were... different...
Gressil: What are we waiting for?! Let's kill those guys!
Verrine: Killing is forbidden in the tournament!
Sonnelion: We don't care about that... the only thing we want is the death of Longinus' users.
Balberith: Maybe we should think about a strategy...
Verrine: You're right. Lord Zeno, what do you...
She looked around to see the skeleton looking towards the other two who ran towards the battlefield.
Verrine: These guys annoy me so much...
Zeno: Don't worry, it won't be a problem Verrine. Gressil and Sonnelion can take care of themselves.
Verrine: Can they?
Balberith: Above us!
The three looked above, seeing Infernus sitting on a roof.
Eos: Took you long enough.
He jumped down and summoned his sword.
Eos: Listen here, I will let you go back to Hades if you give up now.
The Reaper walked towards the Nephilim, towering over him.
Zone: We will not surrender. Lord Hades had a work for us.
Eos: Fine then. But don't complain when I reduce those bones to dust.
The Nephilim went faster than light and caught the skeleton, crashing him into a wall.
Balberith: Zeno!
The Devil went at high speed, however, Eos was able to catch his fist.
Eos: This way of fighting...
He kicked Balberith away, putting seals on the limbs of the Grim Reaper.
Balberith: I will not surrender!
He went back in, only for Eos to dodge the attacks. But his sheer power gave more pressure to the wind that was able to cut Eos' cheek.
Eos: Wh-
Using this moment of confusion, Balberith kicked the Devil in the chest.
Balberith: Hey, you! Do you know the Red Dragon Emperor?
Eos: Huh... what's up with Issei?
Balberith: Nothing. Just tell him I'm a fan of the show.
POV Eos
Ah yes... they made a show about us. Issei actually stars in his own role. I'm not the type to do that shit so someone else plays me. Well, he definitly doesn't look as good as me but he does the job. I was actually asked to write a script recently. Maybe I should do it.
Eos: You're different from the other two... the girl as well. I don't see the same... savagery that is in your friends over there.
Just as I said that, their retirement was announced.
Balberith: I... I want a father...
Verrine: Balberith... he is the enemy...
Her voice was soft. She was not angry per say. She was more... saddened.
Eos: What do you mean by that?
Balberith: I read a book about the relationship between a father and a son and... I want that... after that I watched the Oppai Dragon show and I thought that maybe I could take example on the Red Dragon...
They still use this Oppai Dragon thing? I thought it was just a phase...
Eos: And what do you want...?
Verrine: My name is Verrine. I want... I want an older brother! And to fight, yes! I want to fight.
Eos: To fight? Don't you want peace?
Verrine: Fighting as a sport. Do you think that it's wrong?
I laughed.
Eos: Who am I to judge. I'm a Devil. However, if you want to challenge me, become stronger, you'll need it.
I went beyond Infinity and one tapped each of them, retiring them. I then broke the seals off of Zeno's limbs.
Eos: You can surrender now you know. None of my member have been defeated and I don't think that you can take us all.
He looked at the ground.
Zeno: Did you hurt them?
Eos: Me? No, I went for the back of their neck. They instantly fell uncouncious.
Zeno: Then it is fine by me. I have lost. I give up.
The crowd was visibly annoyed to not see a huge fight finishing this phase.
We all teleported out of the area of battle.
Ajuka: Ladies and Gentlemen! We have our final team accessing to the next phase of the Azazel Cup!
A woman with a microphone and a camera ran towards us.
Reporter: Lord Infernus, could we have a word from you. How do you feel about this victory?
Eos: I never doubted that we would win this fight. My team is growing stronger the more days pass and I have no doubt about who the winner of the Azazel Cup will be!
Reporter: And how do you feel about your opponents?
Eos: They were... interesting to say the least. If they had more members, perhaps they would have had a chance but ufortunatly for them, it was not the case.
Reporter: Thank you very much my Lord. I guess that during the break, you will take back your responsibilities as the head of the clan so I will not bother you too much!
Oh yes... I forgot about that part.
Yasaka: Now that I'm here, I'll do my best to help you.
Eos: *sigh* You're a sweetheart you know.
I kissed her on the cheek
POV 3rd Person
The loosing team kneeled in front of Hades.
Hades: I must say, I am disappointed, to say the least.
Zeno: Sorry my Lord, we were not able to satisfy you.
Hades: It is fine though. You can take a break. I will take things into my own hands starting from now.
Zeno raised his head, worried a bit. He wasn't the type to want war, being with the ones he loved was enough for him.
Hades: And when I'm done, bats, crows and all these unnecessary beings will all be mere memories...
Zeno and his servants left the room.
Zeno: Alright, what do you want to do?
Gressil: Train more to fight more!
Sonnelion: He is right... we need more power to kill the Longinus' users...
Verrine: Lord Hades told us to take a break and I really don't want to train right now.
Gressil: Don't start crying again, I swear!
Verrine: I'm fine!
Balberith: Zeno, could we go to Kyoto? They sell Oppai Dragon merch here!
The skeleton felt something weird in his soul.
Zeno: Y-yes, of course...
And so, Verrine, Balberith and Zeno left.
