(trigger warning: Angst, Blood, Corrupt Cops, Swearing (it's Ronin soo)
Ronin woke up first, changed into his hero outfit and left a note for Davis. then he left headed for Monarch Academy.
Davis woke up a few hours after he left, he picked up the note and read it in his head while mouthing the words so he doesn't lose which line he's on.
It reads,"Stay home. The police are roaming around, I keep forgetting but we need to talk about Manolos suggestion, I'll be home as soon as I can, stay out of sight, please close all the curtains and blinds. Love ya kiddo -Ronin (aka Dad)
He let the paper float back down onto the table, He walked into the kitchen for something to eat, this time he's ignoring the devil that sits on his shoulder. It's about time he listened to the angel on his shoulder instead.
After he ate something(let's say he had some toast and coffee), he sat on the sofa (couch). He just scrolled through random tiktoks Kat suggested to him, what felt like a few minutes was actually hours. It was already early afternoon.
+Knock Knock+
Davis snapped back to reality, closing the tiktok app. He peaked out one of the windows and saw who was knocking on the door.
It was Three Police Officers, one of them being Raymond Soul, The Chief of Police who really doesn't like Davis or Ronin for that matter like at all. He backed away from the window, and tried to stay as quiet as possible.
Davis immediately tried to call Ronin, the first one went to voicemail, the second one was declined and finally on the third try, he picked up.
Ronin: Davis what's wrong,
Davis: the p-police are knocking
Ronin: don't answer them.
"IF YOU DONT ANSWER, WE WILL BREAK DOWN THE DOOR"
Davis: They're gonna b-break down the door
Ronin: Go to your room and fly out the window as fast as you humanly can, make sure they don't see you.
Davis: Where do I go?!
Davis ran to his room while Ronin was thinking.
Ronin: come to me, just fly to a roof of Monarch then cram classroom 1, I'll be in there.
Davis: O-okay.
Davis' heart was racing, he stayed on the line while he flew out of the window, and towards a roof of Monarch as fast as his quirk will allow him. Hoping he doesn't get spotted.
Ronin was still on the line, pacing around his classroom waiting for Davis to arrive. Hopefully.
*Bang* *Splat*
Ronin: DAVIS!!??.
Ronin ran out of his classroom. Davis fell out of the sky, and crash landed on grass. He wanted to make a run for it but couldn't. He was already in handcuffs. He was so close it was just a bit closer, he was literally outside of the gates of the academy. He dropped his phone and Raymond picked it up, ending the call with Ronin.
Davis was escorted to the police station in the back of one of the many police cars. He sat in an empty holding cell. His phone was given to the receptionist at the station. Raymond came back multiple times, pushing different people in the same holding cell. Kol Flex Kat Colin and himself.
"Davis, what the fuck is going on" Kol asked with his tone laced with anger.
"T-they know what we did" Davis responded with hesitance.
"How could they find out"
"That's right!" Raymond announced coming out of nowhere. Like the bitch he is. "I know Colin and Flex killed Wonderwall. I know Davis killed Database, Metica, The Dark Wasp, The Dark Hornet, A Student and a couple of innocents."
Davis' heart was racing faster and faster, he had started to pace around the cell, he didn't even realize how much fucked up, he just knew he did.
"With the help of the Ginger girl of course"
"He's killed this many people he probably killed his mother too" An officer in the background laughed. The others who were around sniggered and laughed out loud from different rooms.
Davis growled under his breath *bitch* he thought to himself. Kat stood beside him with a hand on his shoulder, remind him to keep calm.
"Don't we get a phonecall, this is holding cell you know"
"Fine, who will take the call, Can't be Mr Ramirez"
Davis rolled his eyes behind his visors and scoffed in anger under his breath. Kol Flex Kat Davis Colin huddled in a group against the back wall to have a somewhat private talk.
"I vote for Flex taking the call and calling Ronin" Colin said
"If I call Ronin should I tell him to bring the other teachers." Flex asked
"I'm curious about his they even found out about Wonderwall and the others" Colin mumbled.
"Could it have been Evan" Kol asked.
"He left the city though, we promised not to kill him as long as fled from this city" Flex responded.
"So it's Flex who's gonna call Ronin, Davis what's his number. And yes Flex you should tell Ronin to come here with the other Pro Heros slash teachers" Kat said.
-after Davis gave Flex his number-
"Times up! Who's taking your only phonecall"
Raymond opened the cell with his hand on his gun holster. Kat insisted Kol and Colin stay behind Davis like she did. Good for her, they listened. Kol Colin and Kat were stood behind Davis. Davis was the only one with Quirk Cancelling Bracelets on. And Flex stood next to Davis, about to speak.
"I will."
"Mr Alexander Flex, after you"
Flex left the cell and Raymond closed it as soon as he left. Ray escorted him over to the phone. Flex dialled in Ronins number.
Ronin: Hello?
Flex: Hey Sensi!
Ronin: Flex do you know who you're calling
Flex: Oh I do!
Ronin: what's up, I'm a little busy at the moment
Flex: looking for your son right?
Ronin: yeahhhh have you seen him.
Flex sighed. Flex: He's in a holding cell, with me Kat Kol and Colin. They know.
-fast footsteps were heard from the other line-
Flex: Can you bring the other teachers too please, it's very important they ALL come.
Ronin: I'm on my way with them, Flex what do they know
"Times up kid!"
Ronin: HANG IN THERE, WERE COMING.
Ray ended the call and escorted Flex back to the holding cell.
"Well since we're waiting for whoever to come, how about an interrogation huh?" Ray looked smug, he was planning something for sure. He opened the cell door, with another officer by his side, and someone who liked like he was cosplaying Sherlock Holmes. Mr Chief of Police grabbed Davis by his collar and dragged him out of the cell and into an interrogation room. Kat wanted go after them, but the other officer stopped her. He locked the cell again.
-with Ronin-
Ronin was pacing around panicking when the call was ended. He ran to the staff room. Only Kowalski and Venus were in there.
"Ronin you okay, you look like you saw a ghost"
"A bunch of students just got arrested" Ronin said while texting Avian and Moodswing to come to the staff room immediately.
"Which students?!" Kowalski asked sternly waddling up to a panicking Ronin.
"Kol Kat Flex Colin and Davis"
"How do you know this"
"Flex called me"
"Okay let's think about it"
"What's there to think about, Raymond Soul is a corrupt Prick who abuses his power! Mania should not have that cunt has her father"
"Ray leaves Mania out of his work, you should too" Kowalski said very sternly ending that argument before it got bigger.
Avian and Moodswing came running through the door just in time.
"What's wrong, what's so urgent you needed us to come immediately"
"Students got arrested"
"That last thing Flex said was they know. The call was cut off before he explained what that meant"
"Maybe they know who the kids have you know killed...." Venus suggested hesitantly.
"They're fucked" Ronin mumbled.
"Is why you've been running around looking for Davis all day" Moodswing asked curiously.
"I was on a phonecall with him earlier when the police first showed up at his door, all I heard when the call ended was a gunshot" Ronin explained.
"We need to get over there right now!" Venus shouted.
"If Davis has gotten shot, he's more fucked than the others. Database was the only non corrupted cop in this damn city" Venus explained while grabbing a medical supplies and the principas check book and shoving them into a first aid kit box. All of the teachers ran out of the room, out of the gates and ran as quickly as they could over to the police station.
-with Davis in the interrogation room-
Davis was sat in a chair in a mainly dark room, except for one lamp that was directed at his face. He's been sitting in here for a while, just thinking to himself, the detective and police chief has left, they have only just returned to begin the questioning.
After a load of random questions accusing Davis of a lot of crimes, some he did do and some he didn't and Davis refusing to answer, they suggested to pull out more aggressive methods for answers. They dragged him past the holding cell and into a room with a generator..and a chair......

They strapped him to a metal chair and tied his wrists and legs to it for a bigger impact on him.
If Davis had a nickel for everytime he was electrocuted with a generator he would have three nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened three times - Author (I had to)
They turned the generator on high for a few minutes waiting for his scream. It never came though. After going through this two other times, one last months, he just didn't care to scream because of the pain anymore. It hurt no less but they don't know that because Davis stayed silent. Ray got angrier the longer he stayed silent, The Detective on the other hand could see the kid was in pain. He wanted to stop this but it more likely he would just get fired for going against the chief instead.
"Why isn't he screaming" Ray smashed the table as they watched Davis take in the electricity that was being pumped into his system, they watched him struggle using one way glass. Davis was on the verge passing out.
Ray could manually turn it up from the room they were in, and he did, he turned it up more and more until it was on the maximum. Davis still refused to scream his pain out.
"Sir don't you think this is going a bit too far"
"No. Why do you ask?"
"He's clearly in a lot of pain, he can't exactly admit to his crimes if he's passed out"
Ray stared at him, but he made a fair point.
"Good point, well made"
"I think it's time to turn it off" the detective reached for the lever to turn it off, but Ray grabbed his hand and threw it away from the ladder
"I said you made a good point, but I didn't say you were right" Ray grabbed his colleague by the hack of his collar of his brown Sherlock Holmes jacket and walked out of the room. Slamming the door, and breaking the lock behind him.
"What the hell! Why did you do that?!"
"Do you want to go back to working as a P.I"
"N-no sir"
"Then don't question my authority"
Ray walked off and the detective followed, he wanted to help the kid but he didn't know if it was worth getting fired. Again.
-With The Others-
Ronin burst through the doors and started shouting at the receptionist, he noticed Davis' phone on the side of the desk and took it back. Moodswing Venus Kowalski followed him inside but a lot calmer than he was. Avian held him back, Moodswing stayed in front of him in case he got free of Avians grip.
The students in the holding cell were watching all of this go down and they awed in amazement and shock.
As soon as Ronin calmed down, Moodswing moved to the side, and Avian loosened his grip enough that Ronin slipped away. Ronin walked past them and walked up to the receptionist, and spoke very angrily very sternly. He. Was. Pissed. And he made it very clear to everyone present.
"Now. Where. The. Fuck. Is. My. Son.?!"
"Which one in the holding cell is your son Sir?" she spoke very quickly and nervously
Ronin looked over to the holding cell to see four out of five who were arrested.
"What do we need to pay to get them out of there Miss" Kowalski asked calmly while standing in the desk just so he could be seen.
"I believe it's 60 Pounds for those four kids sir"
Kowalski sighed heavily*they are in so much trouble for this. "will a check do?"
"Yes sir"
Kowalski got Venus to write a check for £240.
"I. know. There. was. Another. kid. Brought. here. Where. The. Fuck. Is. He?" Ronin asked again.
"Does the kid your looking for have black hair, red visors covering his eyes and bunch of bandages on sir"
"Thats him miss where is he?" Avian scooted to the front and spoke calmly.
"He was brought to the interrogation room by the chief of police and the main detective"
"You get them I'm getting my kid"
"I'll come with you, just in case he's injured" Venus said. Ronin and Venus ran past the holding cell and reception desk and searched for the interrogation room. They found Ray and Mr Detective but not Davis. Ronin wanted to Puch that motherfucker until he begged for mercy but decided against with Mania and Davis on mind and of course with the help of Venus
-with Davis-
He could faintly hear distant shouting, he recognised the voice but couldn't pin it to its owner. He was so close to passing out but he urged himself to stay awake.
He heard the same voice call out his name a few times, he tried to remind himself of who it belonged to.
*RONIN!* He internally shouted.
He let out a scream of pain he was holding in hoping Ronin would follow the sound and save him.
-with the others-
Avian let the students out of the cell and left the police station with Moodswing
"Let's get you guys back to your dorms", Moodswing tried to sound cheery, but it was a weak attempt and the students saw right through her.
"I mean she's right" Kat said, "it's freezing out here and I'm really tired. Can we get back, I know Davis will be fine, he has Ronin"
Moodswing and Avian brought the students back to their dorms. Kowalski was paying off the cops. (shhhh) and Ronin was trying to locate where Davis' scream came from with Venus.
-with Venus and Ronin-
They had both heard that scream and recognised it to belong to Davis. Venus ran past a room, and saw a flash of red for a second. He went back to the door and saw Davis, in a lot of pain about to pass out.
"RONIN HES OVER HERE. IN THERE"
"DAVIS!" Ronin burst through the door breaking it off its hinges (his Quirk is activated)
"p-p-p-p-p-p-p-please" a very stuttery, shaky and hoarse voice came out.
Venus smashed through the door on the other side of the one way glass and shuts down then destroys the generator. Davis can finally breathe again. Ronin helped him up and supported him in standing since he was clearly struggling to stay standing up. They walked him out of the police station and sat him down on a bench nearby. They made sure to walk far enough away from the station so that it was out of sight. Venus bandaged his gunshot wound, it was close to the first one.
"That might do a little bit more damage than the first bullet"
"What kind of damage" Ronin deactivated his quirk and calmed down. Davis rested his head on Ronins shoulder, not wanting to pass out but he was slowly dozing off. He's still awake. For now.
"Well even years after he heals from this, he'll still be very shaky"
"Itll be fine.. it's just an inconvenience for him right?."
"I mean If you want to look at it in a good light then i suppose."
"Thank you Venus, I'll take him home"
"Im sorry, call me if the would gets infected or starts bleeding a shit ton again okay"
"Of course. I mean I wouldn't trust myself to bandage a fucking bullet wound" Ronin let out a very weak chuckle. He gave a weak slight smiled but quickly disappeared.
Ronin supported Davis, helping him the whole way home. As soon as they got home, Davis dropped onto the couch and dozed off to sleep.
Ronin was going to make him something to eat but he was out like a light. Again. Ronin pulled a blanket off a shelf, and spread it over him. He sat down on the end on the sofa and fell asleep next to him.
