She is in the kitchen, holding a freshly baked butterscotch cinnamon pie, she looks at her surroundings confused. Asgore speaks to her with concern in her voice. "Tori, are you alright?"
She replies. "Im not sure, um when did i make this pie?"
Asgore gets up and walks over to her. "Maybe I should cut the pie and you rest, I think you're working too much lately."
Toriel replies. "Alright Gorey!"
She places the pie on the table and then hugs him in an embrace.
Asriel speaks to her. "Mom, are you sick?"
Toriel replies. "I don't know, i guess i just need a nap is all."
She laughed. She looks at him and smiles happily, than she looks at Chara. They look at her with a worried expression and they say. "You look tired, you need sleep."
They hug her and then go to asriel. Chara and Asriel wave to Toriel and Asgore. "Hey we're going to go and play in the garden alright? Mind if we borrow the camera?"
Asgore nods and Toriel feels strange, a feeling of deja-vu.
They go into the living room, then come back immediately with the camera. They run out happily together. Another flash, Toriel and Asgore are standing over Chara's bed. They are terribly sick,Asriel is crying over them.
Toriel has felt like she's cried for a while, her eyes are hot and swollen.
She says to Chara. "Chara. . .Can you hear me? We want you to wake up. . ."
Asgore says to Chara. "Chara! You have to stay determined! You can't give up. . .You are the future of humans and monsters. . ."
They hug Chara and leave the room together, asriel stays in the room. Toriel looks back for there to be another light. The next thing she knows, she and asgore are in the garden together, looking for Asriel and Chara. They stop looking, the moment they hear loud pants of exhaustion.
They see Asriel, he is taller and different. He's holding Chara. He looks at them with a smile. Before he could say anything, he fell to the ground and his body turned to dust immediately only leaving his clothing behind. Covered in dust.
Toriel screamed in horror and heartache. Feeling her hands shake repeatedly.
She looks at Asgore and she says. "I'm so sorry." He said in a confused tone. "For what? You did not do this!"
She said. "For leaving you. I have so much to tell you and much to plan, I am sorry!"
Toriel realizing now, remembering. This is just all memories,dreams and something else. She can feel it, the dream ends with her and Asgore burying their children, and her embracing Asgore crying heavily.
Toriel wakes up in her bedroom, sobbing. Her pillow is drenched by her tears. She gets up and grabs it. She opens her door, to be greeted by Frisk,Sans and Papyrus.
She sighed and said. "Rest is not happening anytime soon for me...I need to be alone, my lack of sleep is my issue, is it not?"
Frisk speaks to her. "Mom, are you going to be alright?"
Toriel responds. "I am not sure, maybe some hot mint tea will help me rest.."
Sans speaks to her with concern in his voice. "need any company?"
Toriel replies in a tired and almost cold voice. "No, i do not. I just need sleep."
His eye-sockets dim a little, shooken by her cold reply. She walks past all of them, she walks downstairs, feeling drained from her stress and lack of good sleep.
She prepares her tea and later returns back to her room, holding her glass of mint tea or as she calls it Minty.
She turns around and says to Frisk,Sans and Papyrus. "Goodnight. I am sure this time things will be-" Frisk embraces her into a hug before she could speak more.
