POV 3rd person
Crom Cruach punched the ground, aiming for Eos. However, the latter was able to barely dodge the attack.
As he tried to lead the giant Dragon away, he saw that the entire area was surrounded by Evil Dragons, basically forbiding anyone to leave or come in.
Eos: Shit!
Since he didn't look behind him, Eos was slapped away by the Dragon's hand like a fly would be by a human. He crashed inside a building.
As he got up, he saw the eye of Crom Cruach watching him by the window.
Crom: AHAHAHAH! NOT SO STRONG ANYMORE!
Eos: S...shut up...
The Dragon opened his jaw and charged a fire ball. Eos created several shields in front of him. When the beast spat out the fire ball, the entire facade of the building got burned away. The first shield took 5 seconds to get destroyed, the second one took 18 seconds and the third one... it cracked but didn't break.
Eos suddenly summoned a battle axe and went to the Dragon. However, as the Dragon opened his jaw, ready to swallow the Nephilim whole, Eos had a better idea. He used his portal to teleport himself on top of the head of his opponent, planting his axe inside of it, making the Dragon let out a roar of pain, killing several Dragons on his way, struggling to remove the enemy from his head.
Eod teleported to down side and transformed his axe into a scythe.
Eos: I learned that from Cannis Lykaon's user. I hope he won't mind!
He then sliced the ankles of the Dragon, making more blood out. However, the smirk on Eos' face quickly disappeared when he got hit by the giant tail of the Dragon, sending him away.
Crom: INFERNUS! FIGHT ME! FIST AGAINST FIST!
Eos: I already ridiculed you before, are you sure you want it again?
Crom: SHUT UP! AND FIGHT!
Eos went along and flew towards the Dragon who armed his fist. As both of them clashed, a huge shockwave sent flying all the Evil Dragons. Thank Satan, Asia and Issei were hidden behind ruins.
Issei: I should help him.
As he tried to get up, he immediatly fell back to the ground.
Asia: Issei! You're gonna die if you fight!
Issei: And so what? He needs my help! Would you prefer for him to die over a chance that we may both survive?!
Asia: Issei... you died once already. I'm not living through that again! Never!
Issei: Asia... he's my friend...
Asia: And he's mine to! But you're more than my friend I... I love you!
Issei blushed. Not really knowing what to do, he took the nun in his arms, kissing her on the lips.
Issei: I... won't do anything... except if he is on the verge of death...
The clash continued. The two pushed their auras more and more, giving pressured air bursts, destroying more and more parts of Heaven. Sensing his arm starting to fail him, Eos stopped pushing and got punched into the ground.
Eos: Ah... you son of a bitch...
The Evil Dragon laughed at his apparent victory.
Crom: YOU WERE A GREAT OPPONENT, INFERNUS!
As the foot of the Dragon got closer and closer, Eos had no more choice. He had to use this power.
The enormous foot smashed the ground, however, when Crom Cruach looked under it, he saw no blood, nor a body. As he looked around, he finally saw Eos, hovering over him.
Crom: H-HOW?!
Eos: Tch! I would have prefered to keep that a secret but...
The Nephilim closed his eyes and breathed deeply. The jet black Dragon looked in confusion and... when the man in front lf him finally opened his eyes... the only things Crom Cruach could feel were shivers down his spine. Those white piercing eyes and this calm, collected and focussed look.
Crom: Y-YOU...
He looked behind him, almost in paranoia that Eos would already be behind him. He saw it now. When he said that he was the strongest in the universe... he was right.
However, Eos lost his focus and his power up when a blue beam exploded into Crom Cruach's stomach, making him fall over. Eos looked to who could have send the attack and it was none other than the leader of the Hero Faction. Eos landed besides him.
Cao Cao: What the hell was that?
Eos: If you truly help us against Rizevim, you'll see it one day.
Cao Cao: Whatever, let's finish this guy.
Both men nodded at each other while the Dragon slowly got up. Normally he would be angry that someone interrupted his fight, like he was with Asia earlier but right now, he was grateful.
Eos summoned a sword while Cao Cao used his Balance Breaker.
Eos: Hey. Don't you have an ultimate attack with this thing?
Cao Cao: Yes, it represents God's will. I tried to use it on you but... I couldn't... I thought about it and... I came to the conclusion that God wanted me to follow your dream instead of my own ambition.
Eos: Well, gain my trust and you'll be set for eternity!
Eos ran towards the Dragon, using gray flames to weaken him while slashing him when he punched the ground. Cao Cao used his orbs to lift the rubbles and send them back towards the Dragon while using another treasure to send his own attack back to him.
Crom: ARGH!!! YOU TWO ARE ANNOYING!
Eos then teleported in and out of portals, slashing the Dragon across the chest or limbs and then jumping back to evade any counter attack.
The Dragon let out a roar, pushing both men back. He summoned fire magic, which was blocked by Eos' shield. Cao Cao then extended his spear to stab the Dragon, allowing Eos to weaken him even more with Hell fire.
Crom Cruach was panting hard. He flew up into the sky and started to charge an enormous fire ball.
Crom: YOU WILL ALL DISAPPEAR!
He raised his head into the sky, mouth opened and an evergrowing ball of fire appeared.
Cao Cao: Even I am not sure that I can repulse that.
Eos: Isn't God's will for us to survive?
Cao Cao: Well, I still don't know how to reach this ability.
Eos: I see...
He then used his golden Hell fire to repair his armor. After all, this type of fire is just very hot metal so repairing the armor was never a problem. It even got stronger from it... wait...
Eos: Can Longinus absorb things?
Cao Cao: Hmm? Yeah but what's the point of asking me that?
Eos: I can reinforce my armor and weapons with my fire. Do you think I could do the same for your spear?
Cao Cao: What?! I... have no idea but... it could work...
The winged man transformed his sword back into fire and surrounded the True Longinus with it. Suddenly, golden parts appeared on the spear. The blade itself was covered in gold while two circles of gold levitated around the handle. Finally, there was a smaller blade on the back of the the spear.
Eos: Seems like it worked.
Cao Cao: No... I can't use it...
Eos: What?
He looked back at the expanding ball. They didn't have much time.
Eos: Will it kill me if I touch it?
Cao Cao: No. I can control that, and I have no intention of killing you.
Eos put his hand around the handle. Both men touching the weapon made it react. The circles around the handle started to spin while the golden tip opened, revealing the normal, blue blade of the Longius. Golden beams also linked the tip of the blade to the now two opened parts of the golden tip, Death Star style. Finally, the tip at the other end of the spear expanded, giving more space for the hands.
Eos: You're ready for that?
Cao Cao: Yes!
A blue and golden magic circle appeared around the tip.
Crom: THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING ENDS!
Crom Cruach threw his giant fire ball towards the two.
Cao Cao: Alright...
Eos: ...now!
Eos/Cao Cao: True Longinus: Absolute God Killer!
A blue and golden beam got shot out from the spear, clashing with the massive attack of the Dragon.
Crom: NO... I WILL NOT LET IT HAPPEN!
The Evil Dragon spat out a fire beam to push his attack further. However... that was of no use. The massive ball started to crack and soon enough, it exploded in mid-air. The beam continued it's way towards Crom Cruach, ending it's path in the mouth of the beast. He tried to resist, however, the sacred power of the Longinus combined with the power of the Nephilim was too much for him. The Absolute God Killer transperced the back of the head of the Dragon, continuing it's trajectory upwards and finally exploding in stardust. It was like snowflakes made out of light.
Rias: He did it... of course he did it...
Eos and Cao Cao sat on the ground out of exhaustion, the Longinus going back to it's normal state. They watched as the now dead Dragon fell down from the sky, crashing loudly on the ground.
Cao Cao: So... he's done...?
Eos: ...Yes...
Both men were panting, but Eos' took time to answer out of hesitation. Was Crom Cruach really dead?
Eos: Well... there goes my Rook...
Cao Cao: You wanted to recruit him...?
Eos: Well, I'm considering recruiting you in Team DxD right now so...
Cao Cao: Oh, you're not gonna tell me how I'd make a great Pawn and all?
Eos: I already have a complete peerage in mind... well... minus one now.
The two men laughed.
Ingvild: Are you alright?!
The whole group came from behind them. It was not a good sight for them to see their lover/friend having lost so much blood... or bonding with Cao Cao.
Eos: I'm okay beautiful. Say, can you sense Crom Cruach presence?
Ingvild: Hmm... no. You killed him. Good job!
Eos: Yeah... good job... hey, get some of his blood. We could make an antidote for Irina's father with it.
Xenovia and Irina were still fighting agaisnt Masaomi.
Masaomi: And why should I listen to a Devil?!
Xenovia: Because I've been in the same situation! I wanted revenge over everyone but then I just forgot about it! Revenge won't bring you happiness!
Masaomi: But then they won't be happy. Those who killed me, being happy, I won't allow it!
Irina: You were from the church, you idiot! Do you still have any of those vallues?!
He stopped for a moment.
Masaomi: I... I joined Qlippoth... to avenge Cleria's death...
Xenovia: Diehauser is like you! We could resurect you both and you could be happy and together forever. And believe me, it's awesome!
Masaomi: But... by becoming a Devil, I'd renounce church forever...
Irina: Xenovia and I are Devil and Angel and yet we are still best friends.
Xenovia: Yes. And my surrogate mother is Gabriel's Ace. That's not a problem with peace.
Masaomi: You would... forgive me... even after the people I've killed? Even after all the wrong I did?
Xenovia: Believe me, we did way worse! Ouch!
She got elbowed by Irina.
Irina: What Xenovia is trying to say is that we all have a past. You had your... reasons to kill those people, that's a fact but... one of our greatest ally is an annoying girl who was part of Khaos Brigade before!
Xenovia: She says that because they suck the same- Ouch!
She once again got elbowed by a blushing Irina.
Masaomi: I... I don't know what to say, I-
The eyes of both Xenovia and Irina widdened when they saw Masaomi get stabbed in the heart from behind by an arm in robes.
Rizevim: I didn't really like you anyway. But betraying me makes an even better reason to kill you.
He smirked, licking the blood of his arms.
Masaomi: Let me... see her again... one last time...
Rizevim: Lilith, you know what to do.
The Dragon went for the kill in one hit. However, before she was able to hit, Xenovia's King was able to intercept the attack.
Xenovia: Eos! I... I'm sorry...
Eos: It's fine, you can't beat him now.
The others were just behind him, including Dulio.
Rizevim: How are you... fine? You even killed Cruach but you're fine...
Eos: Let's just say that this Bishop of theirs is really useful. Hey, Lilith. Come with me, alone, we'll fight.
The girl looked at her master. She was her body guard after all, she was supposed to be with him at all time.
Rizevim: It's fine, I will take care of them.
Eos and Lilith flew towards and empty place. Once they landed, Eos turned towards the girl.
Eos: You felt it? The power surge that I had.
She didn't do any movement nor said any word.
Eos: Fine... then I'll just have to show you.
Eos' eyes became white and an aura of the same colour appeared around him.
