Davis left that group rather quickly, he took the letters Manolo handed him and checked the names, he already gave Ronin his.
Betty and Harold both names on one letter. One for Rain. One for Flynn. One for himself....
*Now I have to find Rain and Flynn then mail these to Betty and Harold.*
Davis thought to himself. He was alone and walking to nowhere. He changed direction a bit and walked over to 'The Open Book Library'. Luckily he didn't have to go inside because the man he was looking for was sitting on the steps leading up to the doors of it.
"Mr. Q-queen" Davis walked up to him holding the envelope in his hands.
"Call me Flynn kiddo, what's up" Flynns voice was weak and raspy, he wiped away his years with his sleeves.
"M-m-manolo told me to give y-you this" Davis said softly extending his arm for him to take the letter. Flynn hesitated for a second but then took it and cleared his throat.
"Thanks kiddo.. I'll read it later, is that all you're here for. I think you've done enough good"
Davis nodded.
"See you around kiddo, thanks for everything" Flynn said as he turned his head away and headed back into the library.
*Now it's just send these and find Rain*
Davis left in search of Rain, it's technically only Kreig he needs to worry about, and the police if they ever found those bodies he's kinda fucked.
A lot of walking later he wound up at Rain/Meticas hideout spot near the abandoned train station, Davis took out the envelope for Rain as he spotted a one eared cat talking to a large light blue haired man.
"Hey visors. Buddy. Friend" Rain said with a scheming smirk.
"Visors, good to see you around these parts again. Did you want something?"
"Letter for R-r-rain"
"Oooooo~" Rain stared at it intrigued. "From who if I might ask and I do"
"Metica" Davis said being careful with his words.
Rain grabbed the envelope ripping it open and skin reading through.
"Is it real?" Kreig asked looking at the sad expression on Rain's face.
"Yes. It sounds exactly like him. Visors he's gone. For good this time"
"I-im sorry. Y-yeah"
"Okay, thanks.. for giving me this"
"At least I was wrong"
"About what?" Rain asked looking at his reflection in Davis' red visors.
"He did care about you"
"Nah kid, he cared about us. I see your name on one if those envelopes your holding"
"I guess I'll see" Davis said walking away.
"I like him, it would be a shame if we never saw him again"
"I know right. We need to protect him from now on buddy"
"Agreed"

Davis found a mailbox, he took out Betty and Harold's envelope and wrote their address on it, and then slipped it in. He walked back to the bakery. It's probably about time to reopen that place, it's too soon to talk to Ronin. But for now. For the rest of the day he'll just stay in his room, probably read his own letter and just occupy himself with games or something.
He came into the apartment to see Ronin sat at the table, with the letter and his phone with the screen facing down also on the table.
"Hey kiddo"
"Mhmm"
"I read my letter, he seems genuine, I can help you if you don't want to read yours"
"Are you okay" Davis asked taking off his visor so Ronin could see his eyes.
"Why wouldn't I be, Davis of course I'm okay"
"A-a-angelo just d-d-died again"
"Your father did too you know"
"He hated me" Davis said softly sitting down at the table next to Ronin and looking down at the floor. "he made everyone hate him"
"Look I adopted you so I could look after you better but I haven't been doing that.."
"Database and Metica were alive again your entire life was thrown off because of it"
"I let you get kidnapped...Davis"
Davis let out a heavy sigh.
"I let myself get kidnapped both times"
"Davis... No I shouldve have protected you. You were my student then and you're still my student now"
"It's not too late to start" Davis spoke softly. "You asked if I wanted help to read this, maybe I've been avoiding it" Davis gently threw his letter onto the table in front of Ronin.
"Are you sure you want to read it kiddo"
"You might wanna watch that video on the USB too"
"Are you sure you want me to know"
"Of course im sure. It's you".
Ronin takes the envelope from the table and dips it open. He starts reading aloud
"Hey. Davis. I wish I could give a fuck. And I don't mean that in a sarcastic kind of way. I don't think if I took everything back it would even matter because even if I told you the full truth from the beginning you still would have killed me. I regret killing Sarah but if I had to do it again if it mean you would get adopted by Ronin and I would see my old friend again, I would at least hesitate. When you were younger you were the spitting Image of me, now not so much, that's not a bad thing nor is it good however"
Davis quickly got up from his seat and paced around the room
"Are you okay kiddo, do you want me to continue"
"I'm fine just taking it in I guess"
"Do you want me to continue, looks like he wrote quite the essay for you kiddo"
"Y-yeah please"
"However I truly believe that isn't something you should be ashamed of or proud of. Davis look I'm not writing this to give you honey then then the hatchet (good news then bad), I'm writing this to say that I didn't mean it Davis, you're a Ramirez wether you like it or not. You didn't deserve any of the shit you went through, but I meant it when I said you should move away to America or wherever with Kat and your grandparents. It's a suggestion Davis, you don't have to listen to it, but I'm telling you it's a good idea if you did actually end up listening to it. Misfit im running out of time here so uhh I'm Proud of you and I hope you move on and if you do doubt yourself less. Ps don't forget that Me and Sarah loved you, son"
"That's it there's a few what looks like tear drops on the page but that's the end of it. Davis you and I both know this won't the last time Im gonna ask this but Are you sure you're okay bud"
Davis didn't respond to that, he just simply nodded slightly then sighed heavily. Was Manolo finally right about something.. should he move on......?
"Davis please look at me"
Davis slowly looked up to his eyes.
"I have one question for you it isn't if you're okay"
"okay.."
"Manolo suggested to you that you should move on Davis and you didn't tell me"
"Before he faded away, he talked to me about it, you had just lost Angelo again I didn't want to bring it up"
"I don't want to lose you but it's you're decision if you want to go and when and where okay. That's your choice, nobody can make it for you"
"I get it. Can we talk about this some other time"
"I know Manolo. Your father wasn't the best person even at his greatest point of hero and villain work"
"I know Ronin. He was my father afterall, even if he denied it every time someone mentioned it even if I was with him".
"God he was such a son of a bitch back then"
"You knew him back then too, before he turned to a life of villainy"
"Even when we worked together he was still a prick"
"He just developed into the whole fucking cactus"
Ronin chuckled slightly at that. He didn't really think too much into how much they can relate to each other, it's easy to talk to someone you trust.
"But seriously Ronin, you should listen to what's on the USB.. I'm ready for you to know, it's best if you do now since they're all dead"
Ronin stared at Davis and realised how deep the shit Davis got him self into actually was. He questioned if he was a hero when he first killed Manolo but that number just keeps going up when it shouldnt.
