POV Issei
We were arriving at the shrine. It was just before twilight.
With me were Asia, Irina, Ingvild, Xenovia, Rossweisse, Momo, Reya, Tomoe, Tsubasa and Saji. We saw the same man that Eos talked to.
Issei: There he is.
Ingvild: I don't feel it, we should go back.
Issei: Not now!
I approached him but he didn't even look at me.
Cao Cao: So I guess you were sent by Lord Infernus.
Issei: I don't care about Eos, we came here to free the woman you captured!
Cao Cao: Free? I thought this was an exchange. Lady Yasaka is freed and you get out of this city. Forever.
Issei: I don't bargain with people like you! Ddraig!
Boost
He laughed and summoned a spear.
Cao Cao: So you're the Red Dragon... this... is the True Longinus. The spear that Saint Longinus used to stab Jesus Christ!
All of our eyes widdened.
Rossweisse: Issei that's enough! We should let Eos negotiate!
Boost
Issei: Scail Male!
I summoned my armor and got into fighting position.
Cao Cao: Pathetic Dragon... You shall die by my hand.
POV 3rd person
Issei rushed towards Cao Cao but the Hero jumped. He was so fast that, to Issei, it looked like he vanished. Issei then felt a harsh pain in the back when Cao Cao slammed his spear onto it. He didn't stabbed though. No, he was toying with him.
Momo and Reya tried to launch magic attacks but the leader of the Hero Faction stopped them by spinning his spear like an helicopter spins it's pales. He then started to run towards them only for Xenovia and Tomoe to clash with him.
Cao Cao: A Devil using a Holy blade...? How dare you?
Cao Cao overpowered the two girls, punching Tomoe in the face knocking her out. He then continued to clash again and again but was pushed by a barrier formed by the two Bishops of Sona back where Issei was.
The Emperor continued to boost his power but it was no use. His opponent kept blocking his attacks and then countered, slowly but surely, destroying his armor. The Hero Faction leader was suddenly kicked in the back by Tsubasa, the Fook of Sitri. She went as fast as she could to hit him again but Cao Cao sliced her across the chest.
Reya: Tsubasa!
Cao Cao: Now die! Evil creature!
As he symbolicly raised his spear into the air, Issei caught it, stopping him from delivering the killing blow.
Issei: Take her back and let Asia heal her!
He then summoned Ascalon and clashed with the wielder of the Holy spear
Cao Cao: What's with Devil using Holy weapons?! Disapear, rat!
Xenovia joined the Pawn of Gremory and together, they were able to make Cao Cao walk back, allowing the others to recover Tsubasa.
Cao Cao: You rats! How dare you stand against me?!
Issei: Shut up you and your cliché sentences!
Irina soon joined the duo as well, putting Cao Cao in a difficult position. But it was only temporary as Cao Cao stabbed Xenovia through the stomach then kicked her far away.
Irina: Xenovia!
She instantly ran towards her best friend.
Xenovia: I-I'll be alright... I'm a Devil, I can heal...
Ingvild: Take her back here!
Ingvild was holding, along with the Bishops a protective barrier.
Rossweisse: I'll go help him.
Rossweisse flew into the air and started to bombard both men, trying to target Cao Cao but her shots were mostly hurting both of them.
Issei: Arghh!!!
Cao Cao: Shit!!
Cao Cao aimed his spear at Rossweise and shot a beam at her, making her fall from the sky.
Irina: Issei, we need to retreat and wait for Eos!
Issei: Stop talking... about him! I can... do it by myself!
Cao Cao: I wonder... did he trust you with handling this... or did you disobey your master's order and came to me by yourself?
Issei: Shut up! He is not my master!
Cao Cao had enough of this. He kicked Issei towards the others and prepared a shot with his spear. At the same moment, Issei continued to boost and prepared a dragon shot.
Cao Cao: You're dead!
Issei: Dragon Shot!
The two shot their attacks but the human surpassed the Devil, easily overpowering him, the laser of his attack hitting everyone.
As the dust settled, everyone was uncouncious on the ground. Even the ones who created the barrier were down. Only Rossweise and Issei still standing, with the latter armor being destroyed at 80%.
Cao Cao: You... survived...? This is a first. I must congratulate you... But I will now end your suffering.
As Cao Cao walked towards the group to kill them all, he stopped as he saw in the corner of his eye, a Holy spear coming his way, planting itself in the ground, just before the man.
Rossweisse looked into the sky with a weak smile on her face.
Rossweisse: He's... here...
Were the last words she spoke before falling uncouncious.
Cao Cao: So you have come... Infernus.
Eos landed on the ground and saying he was pissed was an understatment.
Issei: Eos I-
The Lord immediatly threw him with his Hell's Bind towards Asia, who was uncouncious as well.
Issei: I-
Eos: Shut the fuck up! Transfer your energy to Asia and let her heal everyone! Now!
Issei: But I can help.
Eos: You have done enough! Now do it! This is an order!
Issei: You're not Rias!
The cold look of the Hybrid was directly in the eyes of Issei.
Eos: Issei. If you were not their only hope to survive... I would have killed you already.
Issei, understanding that he should not argue anymore, decided to transfer his energy to Asia.
Asia: I-issei, what happened?
Issei: I need you to heal everyone, can you do that?
She looked around horified and immediatly went to work.
Eos turned towards Cao Cao.
Eos: We should try to discuss this.
The leader of the Hero Faction pointed his spear at the neck of the Devil.
Cao Cao: We're long pass discussion.
Eos: *sigh* I see... well that's too bad, you seemed nice.
Eos summoned a single Holy spear and clashed with Cao Cao. He did way better than any of others previously. His mastery of the weapon allowed him to outspeed his opponant, slicing his cheek and making him bleed.
Eos: Why do you hate us? What did we do to you?
Cao Cao went on the offensive.
Cao Cao: What did you do?! You killed! You corrupted! Your ancestors! They killed mine!
They clashed again...
Eos: Man, every nation did horrible things. If everyone thought like you, it would become an all-out war!
...and again.
Cao Cao: And you'll wipe us out! That's why God gave humanity Sacred Gears! But you...
He looked at Issei.
Cao Cao: ...you use these weapons for your own advantage!
They locked and Eos smirked.
Eos: Is that surprising? Every nation, every group wants to be above the others. Everyone wants to become the most powerful, the richest. We just created a system smart enough to use your weapons against you!
The man in blue growled.
Cao Cao: This weapon... is the True Longinus. The most powerful weapon ever! This is my will!
He sliced Eos across the chest. Thank Satan, the wound was not deep and even though it hurt, Eos could still fight.
They clashed and dodged each other at repetition, when one went onto the offensive, the other spinned to evade.
Asia's healing was superficial and, even though no one's life was in danger anymore, they could not wake up at all.
Issei looked at the fight.
Issei: Why...?
Asia: Huh?
His fist clenched.
Issei: Why is it always him? Why can't it be me for once?!
Asia: Issei...
Issei: I've had enough, of him! I don't want him in my life anymore! He should just die!
His eyes glowed green.
Asia: I-issei...? You're scaring me...
Issei: I, who am about to aweken,
Am the Heavenly Dragon who has stolen the principles of domination from God.
His voice was deeper than it ever was and he entered his Balance Breaker once again.
Both of the adversaries locked spears once again and looked over to the light.
Cao Cao: What's up with him?
Eos: Issei...?
Issei: I laugh at the "infinite", and I grieve at the "dream".
I shall become the Red Dragon of Domination.
And I shall sink you to the depths of the crimson purgatory.
Juggernaut Drive.
What seemed to be Issei grew in size, becoming more and more draconic.
Eos: The hell is that?!
Cao Cao: That's danger... we need to stop him!
Eos: What?
As he fully transformed he growled and rushed towards Eos punching him and sending him deep into the forest.
Cao Cao, even though he didn't want to, had to help the Devil. If they didn't kill the beast, it would destroy the entire planet.
He launched a magic attack at the Dragon who flinched a little but hit Cao Cao with his tail towards a lake not far from here. He then spat out a laser beam towards the Hero but the latter was able to block.
Asia was terrified.
Eos fell down from a tree and decided to head back.
Eos: What the fuck was that? Was he really attacking me...? That's...
When he arrived back, he saw Cao Cao fighting the beast, he was struggling, barely blocking the attacks. Eos had to help him. He used red Hell Fire to catch Issei's limbs and hold him back. He summoned "ropes" of fire and pulled on his arms, leaving him open.
Eos: Stab him! Now!
Cao Cao: Understood!
As the spear went into the Dragon's flesh, it let out a cry of pain.
The beast pulled on it's arms, estinguishing the flames that were holding it.
Eos: What is this shit?!
Cao Cao: The true form of the Red Dragon Emperor. It will kill the kid inside of it!
Eos: What?! And how do we stop it?!
Cao Cao: No idea!
Eos, however, got an idea.
Eos: Hey, can you cover me?
Cao Cao: Not for too long.
Eos thought about Asia. It would draing her magic but the others didn't seem in anymore danger, at least until the beast didn't notice them. He summoned a giant magic cricle above him.
Eos: Dragon of dual colored eyes! Resurrect from the deep darkness. With the flames of rage, incinerate everything on the earth! Come forth! The blazing Dragon called by calamity! Supreme King Violent Dragon - Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon!
The Dragon appeared.
Eos: Odd-Eyes! Drain the magic on this area!
The flaming wings of the dragon went into the ground, stealing the magic out of everyone in the area.
The beast let out a growl of pain.
Eos: It worked! Cao Cao, make a breach in it's stomach! I'll finish it now! Odd-Eyes! Transfer me the power!
Blue flames came from the dragon to Eos, powering him up. Cao Cao ran towards the beast, slashing again and again, finally making a big enough wound to destroy it from the inside.
Cao Cao: Do it!
Eos: Got it! Absolute. Flaming. Burst!
Flames of every colours went inside the chest of the beast, burning it from the inside, turning the 'armor' to nothing but ashes leaving Issei's body, uncouncious, on the ground.
Cao Cao: We did it.
Odd-Eyes returned to it's dimension and Eos walked towards Issei, checking his pulse.
Eos: He's alive, weakened, but alive. Thank you...
Cao Cao: You're the one who finished him.
He helped the Devil to stand up.
Cao Cao: Yasaka is in the shrine, I'll let you take care of-
Behind Eos, he saw someone he knew too well.
Cao Cao: L-lady Ophis?!
Eos' eyes widdened and he turned around, only to see a little girl.
Eos: Mmh... are you Ophis?
She nodded.
Eos: I see... I imagined more of a... giant dragon...
Ophis: You're strong...
Eos: Huh... I mean, yeah of course.
Ophis: Maybe you could help me.
She summoned a magic circle and teleported away
Eos: Wait I have ques- and she's gone.
Cao Cao: I should go.
Eos: Hey Cao Cao.
He turned around.
Eos: If you ever want eternal life, I'm searching for pieces.
Cao Cao closed his eyes and smiled.
Cao Cao: You wish...
He left. Eos went into the shrine to see a beatiful woman with blonde hair and probably the biggest breasts he ever saw. She was wearing a yellow kimono. Eos blushed.
Eos: I-I guess you are Lady Yasaka.
Yasaka: And I guess you are my savior.
Eos: Well... I guess. You daughter was very worried about you. My name is Eos by the way... Eos Infernus.
We went outside and she saw the numerous bodies on the ground.
Yasaka: So that was the noise outside...
