As the raindrops fell on the ground, there was a flash of lightning and then a loud crackle of thunder roared in the air.
A man in purple clothes appeared momentarily on the tower and suddenly disappeared as soon as the next flash of lightning in the sky.
For a moment, the surroundings became eerily quiet and the next moment, the cloud started turning into red colour.
The sounds of the rain turned into sounds of crystal rushing down from the sky and breaking through the windows, roofs and ceilings of the houses, towers and other similar structures.
Location: Pain's Office
Time: 12 o' clock Morning
Nagato looked outside the window with a serious look on his face. There was no sign of panicking on his face as he knew that panicking will not change anything.
With determination to protect the Rain Village.... his beloved village.... Nagato started walking towards the door in the office leading to the courtyard of the building.
As he opened the door, showers of rain droplets fell on him along with a few debris, which passed him without harming him.
"Nagato!" The mentioned man stopped on his track. "Are you sure that you can handle him?"
"Yes Naruto." Nagato said as he lifted his hands up and the next moment, most of the clouds were pushed away to reveal a man flying in the sky.
Nagato was about to levitate when Naruto stopped him.
"Nagato. I will take care of that bastard." Naruto said.
"No. I am the leader of the Rain Village so I should be the one fighting against him." Nagato said as Naruto just jumped in front of him.
"As as village leader during the times of peace, you should be protecting your village not attacking someone else." Naruto said without facing him. "Besides, he is just like me. A crystal user but a jutsu which I don't recognise." The last sentence was just a whisper.
Nagato just stayed silent before lifting his hand and pushing another huge crystal rock falling from the sky while Naruto just smiled and activated his chakra cloak which was now yellow in colour. And the next moment, he disappeared in thin air, leaving nothing but a trail of flash as he levitated himself in the sky.
The man in the sky was still raining the crystals from the sky before noticing the yellow trail of light left behind by Naruto.
And before he knew what was going on, he felt being thrown in the air.
"Well, I have to admit that I did not expect to see you so soon.... Takakida Toshinori." Naruto said emotionlessly before Takakida appeared behind him.
Naruto just moved towards right to evade the blow delivered by Takakida, who quickly smirked and before Naruto could realise what was going on, he felt a huge rock going through his stomach.
"Do you remember how you killed Muramasa? You killed her right in front of my eyes before I went mad. Well, tell you what, as much as I want to kill you and bring your head fixed on a crystal spear to Hinata, your wife, I am not going to do that. Not right now. I will kill all the people you ever loved and destroy everything you made. Than only you will realise what I felt when SHE died." Takakida said as he retracted the crystal rock out of Naruto's stomach before letting him fall down.
Pathetic. I thought that he was stronger than that. Seems like he got weak the moment his heart weakened. Takakida thought as his widened upon feeling a familiar chakra just behind him.
Turning around, he saw Naruto levitating in the sky with his skin turning yellow.
A few moments later
Takakida was all but bleeding as he laid on the ground while Naruto descended from the sky and Nagato and Konan surrounded him with their army.
Nagato angrily raised his staff and was about to stab it into the man's stomach before stopping abruptly.
Takakida's skin suddenly started to turn crystal black before starting to melt away as if it was liquid to reveal an unconscious man which black liquid had covered all the whole time.
The black liquid soon turned into a human like figure resulting in Naruto's eyes getting wide.
"ZETSU?!" Naruto exclaimed, fully shocked to see the Black Zetsu smiling in an evil manner. "I thought that I sealed you when I last saw you!"
"Wrong. In reality, you never sealed me. The one which you sealed was just my clone. I fooled you Naruto, just like you fooled everyone. When you were busy fighting, I was under the ground watching you fight and then I saw you conversing with Takakida Toshinori. At that moment, I knew that I found the right person who is much better than Obito and you. He is easy to be manipulated and even better, he does not care even if he knows. Why? Because he has hunger for revenge. After all, people filled with revenge are much better to be manipulated as their minds are less stable. And now, by commiting that mistake of sparing Takakida, you have created a way for the new world order which will be run by Mother Kaguya." Zetsu stated as he laughed evilly.
"And what about White Zetsu?" Naruto asked.
"It appears that he is ignoring my messages which I have been sending him all thanks to you and your manipulation of my dear White Zetsu." Black Zetsu said in a frustrated manner before calming down.
"Actually, I am not the one who should be worried here as I have already created an alternative of White Zetsu who is much scarier and powerful than White Zetsu." Black Zetsu said before sinking into the ground.
Naruto rushed towards Zetsu in an attempt to stop him and pull out of the ground only for him to miss the Evil creature just by an inch.
"Tch! He has escaped. That f***ing manipulative bastard." Konan swore out of frustration.
"So what should we do now?" Nagato asked as Naruto remained silent.
"We cannot do anything right now." Naruto said as he sighed. "We have to report the Leaf Village and other elemental nations."
"And what about him?" Nagato asked as he pointed to the man lying on the ground, unconscious.
Naruto carefully looked at the man and checked his pulse.
The man had dull blueish-grey hair in an asymmetrical style with a single lock of hair falling into his face, and brown-coloured eyes.He wore sandals and the standard monk uniform with a long right sleeves. Naruto also did not fail to notice that the hand was bandaged.
Carefully removing the bandage from the man's hand, Naruto's eyes went wide as he saw the strange structure of the hand.
Kurama!
Yes, I can see what you are seeing. It resembles my hand." Kurama said.
Indeed, the man had his hand shaped like a beast claw and it was orange in colour.
Location: Konoha
2 days later
A sound of a fist slamming on the table was heard in the room of the Hokage's office.
"WHAT?!" Obito exclaimed with his voice filled with shock. "How is that possible?"
"Naruto has already reported in the scroll that both of you were unaware of your surroundings while sealing Zetsu." Itachi said as he tossed the report to Obito.
That's when Sasuke slammed the door open with fear in his eyes.
"Ni san. Do we have to go on the war again?" asked Sasuke as Itachi just stayed quiet.
"Unfortunately, yes. But not right now." Itachi said.
"But what if that man is stronger than Naruto?" Sasuke asked.
"He is not stronger than Naruto. But we do have to prevent him from getting stronger."
"But for that, we need someone to keep track of him. But who must we choose?" Sasuke thought before suddenly his eyes twinkled in remembrance.
"Ni san. What about him?" Sasuke asked.
Amegakure
"What's wrong, dear?" Hinata asked as she saw in a deep thought.
"I just got a letter from Hokage sama. He is asking me to keep a track of Takakida Toshinori by embarking on a journey which will take all across the Elemental Nations." Naruto said as Hinata nodded in understanding.
"But the problem is that it would mean that I will not be able to see you for longer periods of time." Naruto said in a depressed manner.
"Tell me Naruto kun." Hinata said. "When you left Konoha, didn't it mean that you were leaving for the wellbeing of not only me but for the whole village and the whole world? SO why can't you leave now?"
"But that was when you were in Konoha and safe hands of the villagers. Now, I cannot send you back to Konoha as it will result in the villagers trying to harm in any way and I cannot be around you to save you." Naruto said as Hinata smiled.
"Naruto, did you forget that I have already made friends with Konan san and Nagato san? Not to mention that I am an anbu that too the first Hyuga female to join." She said as Naruto just remained silent. She sighed before continuing "Tell me Naruto kun, what do you think of Rain Village and Leaf Village?"
Naruto looked at her in a curious manner.
"I love both of them. I love the beautiful sounds of rustling of the leaves and the pitter pitter of rain drops. I love the nature of the Leaf and the tall towers of the Rain. I like the Hokage monuments of Leaf and the pillars of Leaders of Rain Village. Overall, I love both of them." Naruto said in a nostalgic voice as Hinata smiled.
"Do you want your future generation to see the villages where you have lived? Do you want them to hear the chirping of the birds and the pitter patter of the raindrops? Do you want them to experience the beautiful and diverse world?" Hinata asked as Naruto became silent.
Naruto just smiled and hugged Hinata, whose eyes widened in surprise.
"Thank you, Hinata!" Naruto said as the Hyuuga hugged him back.
A few days later
The man who had the claw of the nine tails woke up abruptly on hearing the roar of the thunder. He looked at his surrounding before trying to move only to find himself bound by paper.
"Ah! So you are awake?" He heard a female's voice. Turning towards his left, he saw a woman with purple hair and a lip piercing.
"Name's Konan. I apologise for the bindings but we had to restrain as we didn't know if you are a threat or not." Konan said as she walked towards the man, who just tried to struggle but to no avail.
"WHERE IS THAT BASTARD WHO TOLD ME THAT I WILL BE ABLE TO GET RID OF MY NINE TAILS POWER?!" The man shouted angrily as Konan just stared at him with a blank face.
"I dunno." Konan said nonchalantly but seriously.
"Where the hell am I?" The man asked.
"You are in Amegakure No Sato, the place where the rain never stops." Konan said as there was a flash of light and then the roar of thunder followed.
"How did I get here?"
"We have no idea but we presume that you got trapped by Zetsu." Konan replied as the man got silent.
"That's it, I suppose." He said.
"So what's your name?" Konan asked.
"Sora." Sora replied as Konan nodded.
"So, I have another question for you. But it would better if you ask him by yourself, Naruto." Konan said as the door opened.
"Thanks Konan." Naruto said as he entered through the door and looked at Sora.
"What's the question?" Sora asked as he gave a nod to Naruto.
"Why do you have the nine tail's chakra?" Naruto asked in a serious voice as Sora looked up.
"Its a long story."
10 days later
Naruto walked along the path leading to the exit of Amegakure and towards Iwa, when he turned around to look at Amegakure once last time before leaving.
He saw the teardrops falling down from Hinata's cheek and Konan calming her as she cried.
Thank you Hinata for crying for me. I promise you that I will return to Amegakure after every 7 months. Naruto thought as he turned around and vanished from the sight from the door leading to Amegakure.
Shino: And that brings an end to a chapter which is a teaser for the next part of the book, i.e. if it is published.
Tenten: Sora will play a major role in the book as he will become a part of the jinchuriki alliance which has already came into effect but it is a secret from the public.
