In case anyone gets confused, I use scenes from the Peter's To-Do List short film in this chapter, which isn't in the movie but it was in the extended cut. It should be on YT if you want to check it out!

Peter's POV:
I scurry into my class, excited to tell Ned about my plan. I stayed up late last night thinking about y/n. This, of course, led up to negative thoughts, such as the fear of losing her. What if she realizes that I'm not what she wants? What if she gets bored of me? I'm probably just overthinking but either way, I made up a plan for Europe. I just want to prove that I'm worthy of her love, so this trip has to be perfect. I need to make this trip as memorable and romantic as possible so she can see that I can be a good old-fashioned lover boy.
I plop into the seat beside Ned and declare, "I have a plan. Okay, first, I'm gonna sit next to y/n on the flight."
"Mhm," Ned hums.
"Second, I'm gonna buy a dual headphone adapter and watch movies with her the whole time," I continue.
"Okay."
"Three, when we go to Venice, Venice is super famous for making stuff out of glass, right?"
"True," Ned replies, nodding.
"So I'm gonna buy her a (y/f/f) necklace because her favorite flower is a (y/f/f) because..."
"(Y/r)," Ned states, already knowing.
"(Y/r)," I repeat before proceeding. "Four, when we go to Paris, I'm gonna take her to the top of the Eiffel Tower, give her the necklace-"
"Oh," Ned interjects, sounding invested.
"And then five, I'm gonna tell her how I feel... if the time is right," I depict. We haven't been together for that long so I'll complete this step if I think there's a chance of the feeling being mutual. I glance away for a second before looking at Ned again. "And then six, hopefully, she tells me she feels the same way," I conclude.
Ned gives me a baffled look. "Don't you guys already know how you feel? That's why you're dating," he questions.
I tilt my head from side to side as I try to wrack my brain for an answer. "Well- yeah, we know there's a connection but that's not what I'm... it's a- it's a different feeling..." I trail off. Ned narrows his eyes in confusion. "It starts with an L..." I hint, hoping he gets it.
It takes him a few seconds but he finally gets it. "Ohhhh," he utters when he realizes. "How does she not know already? Everyone knows," he scoffs.
I give him a strange look. "I don't think everyone," I counter.
"No, dude, everyone knows," he claims, nodding. "It was obvious since day one." Wow, am I that transparent? I'm about to say something else when Ned beats me to it.
"It kind of sucks that you're not single anymore. We could've been bachelors in Europe together!" he claims before going on about how European women love Americans.
I give him a quizzical look. "Okay. Sure... but sorry, Ned. As cool as that sounds, I'm a taken ma- she's coming over. Just don't say anything," I babble, seeing y/n walk in with MJ.
Y/n's POV:
MJ and I saunter into art class, going straight to Ned and Peter. I ignore the Iron Man drawings on the wall behind them. I had to see that tribute video in the hallway, I don't need more things reminding me of Tony's death right now when I was feeling so good today. We approach the boys and I see Peter hurriedly say something to Ned before glancing at us. "What up, dorks," we both greet.
"Excited about the science trip?" MJ asks.
"Hey. Uh, yeah, we're just talking about the trip," Peter pipes up, awkwardly grinning at me.
"Yeah, and Peter's plan," Ned chimes in. Peter gives him a look.
"Oh, you have a plan?" I curiously ask Peter, smiling at him.
He looks away from Ned to gaze at me. "I don't... I don't have a plan," he claims, nervously chuckling. I flicker my eyes between the two boys.
"No, he's- he's just going to collect tiny spoons when we're traveling to other countries," Ned speaks up before winking at Peter.
"Why'd you wink?" I ask.
"Like a- like a grandmother?" MJ questions at the same time.
Peter stares at me with his mouth agape. "I'm not collecting tiny spoons, he's collecting tiny spoons," he pipes up, pointing his pen at Ned. Huh, maybe that's why Ned winked.
I nod. "Oh, interesting," I remark. Ned just grins while Peter awkwardly nods.
"Well, that was a real rollercoaster," MJ dryly chuckles, making Peter nod and Ned chuckle monotonously. This is unnecessarily awkward. "By the way, travel tip: you should probably download a VPN on your phone just so that the government can't track you while we're abroad," she advises. She turns to me and says, "I already did it for you."
I knit my eyebrows together. "When did you do that? How do you even know my passcode?"
MJ casually shrugs. "Don't worry about it," she replies. This confuses me even more but I let it go. I doubt she's nosy enough to snoop through everything on my phone. She walks toward the back of the room and I stay behind, watching her leave before turning my attention to the boys in front of me. I look between them, studying their awkward demeanor.
"You guys are so weird sometimes," I giggle, moving around the table to get to Peter. I drop my backpack by the leg of the table and walk behind Peter, gripping his shoulders and bending down to peck his cheek. "I'll be back," I announce before going after MJ.
*Time skip to after class*
I walk with Peter and Ned through the crowded hall. All around us, students are chatting and cleaning out their lockers. "So what are you guys gonna do on your last day in New York?" Ned pipes up.
Peter looks up in thought and responds, "Oo, I have some errands to run. I have to get a mini toothpaste, pick up my passport, and then take down the Manfredi crime family," Peter lists, counting on his fingers.
"Oh," Ned reacts.
"And don't forget May's 'Homeless Support' event," I chime in. May recently asked us to show up for her charity event to show our support for those displaced by the Blip and help draw out donors. This is the first time I'll be out in public as Amethyst again... so this should be interesting.
"Right, can't forget that," Peter responds, taking his phone out of his pocket.
"Everything okay?" Ned questions when he sees Peter checking his phone.
"Yeah," Peter replies, not tearing his eyes away from his device.
We slow down to a stop. "You need some 'guy in the chair' help or..." Ned asks.
"No, I'm okay," Peter quickly answers.
"Okay, well, I have my last in-person therapy session before going to Europe so..." I speak up, checking my watch. "I gotta go. I'll see you later," I utter to Peter.
"Alright," he responds before we lean in to kiss goodbye. We gleam at each other for a short moment after pulling apart before I glance at Ned. "Bye, Ned! I'll text you!" I tell him before striding away.
•~•~•~•
(Imagine a really cool matching mask covering the lower half of your face with this suit)
Peter and I are in a restaurant fighting the Manfredi mob. I sense someone coming up behind me so I poof out right when he's about to grab me. I teleport behind him and observe him look around in confusion. "Hi," I chirp, making him turn around. He's stunned to see me there and I simply wave. He points his gun at me so I form a ball of lavender magic in my hands. "Bye," I cheerily say, blasting him. He screams as he flies across the room, landing on a table and rolling off of it.
Spider-Man lands on a table and two webbed-up guys fall behind him. "Let's keep it moving, guys! I got a lot to do today," he claims as he shoots webs at a guy, making him stick to the wall. A few other men start shooting at him so he jumps and flips into the air to avoid getting hit. One man swings at me so I duck before shooting him with magic. I focus on the men shooting at Spider-Man, using my magic to jam their guns. As they check their weapons in bewilderment, Spider-Man takes the opportunity to blast them with webs. He lands and sits on a table that's flipped sideways. Even with a mask on, his cockiness shines through.
A man suddenly comes in and starts firing at him, so he yells out and squirms around as the bullets hit him before falling backward off the table. I just sigh and smile while I watch, knowing he loves messing around. The guy lowers his weapon to reload it and Peter pops back up. "Just kidding, it's bulletproof!" he states before shooting webs to the walls in front of him and swinging forward to kick the man down. I laugh at this and we proceed to take down the remaining criminals. Once everyone's webbed up, Spider-Man and I walk up to each other.
"Not bad for your first day back," he comments.
I giggle lightly. "Yup, I still got it... we still make a good team," I say, smirking.
"The best," he replies, high-fiving me. "Hey, this is our first time fighting together as a couple," he mentions.
This makes me smile. "Huh, yeah, it is," I utter before the cops burst through the doors. They glance around with wide eyes, seeing men hanging from the ceiling or webbed to the walls. We approach them and Spider-Man starts explaining the men's roles in the crime.
The lady suddenly comments, "I love the new suit. The tiara's a nice touch."
"Oh, thanks!" I reply.
She switches her attention to Spider-Man and asks, "So you keeping the fancy suit?"
"Uh..." Spidey trails off before the cop behind me speaks up.
"Hey, where have you been hiding until now?" he asks me.
I sigh and respond, "mmm, well, I, uh... had some issues I needed to take care of, you know, just like any other person. So I was doing that." The three cops nod.
"You gonna be the next Iron Man now?" another officer questions Spidey.
My breath hitches when he asks that. Poor Peter, that's a huge expectation. "Well, no, I don't have time. I'm too busy doing your job," he fires back.
"Ohhh!" the cops react while I laugh. I mean, he's not wrong.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Look," Spidey commences as we back away from them. "You're gonna have to do your jobs for a couple weeks, okay, because we are going on vacation," he announces, pointing between us.
They nod and the lady cop smirks. "A couple's get-away?" she questions. There were rumors before the Blip about Amethyst and Spider-Man being romantically involved, even though the only "proof" people had was that we were usually spotted together. It wasn't true back then but people would flip if they knew about us now... especially Flash since he's the biggest Spider-Man and Amethyst shipper I know.
"Nice try," I chuckle and point a finger gun at her as I turn around to walk through the door. "Yeah but could I still get that selfie?" one of them calls out as we leave.
"Next time!" we both yell back. Without warning, Peter circles his arm around my waist and swings us up onto the roof of the restaurant. "You know I could fly, right?" I mention, taking my mask off.
His mask dematerializes, unveiling his adorable face. He shrugs and responds, "I know. Just wanted to try it."
I chuckle before I'm suddenly reminded of something and gasp. "May's thing!" I blurt.
Peter's eyes widen. "Oh, crap, I forgot about that!"
I place my mask back on. "It's okay. I got this," I voice, gripping his arm. Peter looks at my hand then at my face in confusion.
"What are you doing?"
"Trying something," I reply before poofing us off of the roof. We poof inside the building May's charity is in and Peter looks around astounded.
"Since when did you know you could teleport people with you??" he asks.
I shrug and claim, "since now."
May walks in through the curtains, which I assume is the way to the stage. "Oh, you're here! Good! We gotta go out there," she utters, nodding her head toward the curtains. She goes out first and does her introduction before announcing our aliases. We get on stage and wave at the audience while they applaud. I smile when I see a few kids in Amethyst masks. We stand behind May, Spider-Man to her right and me to her left, as she continues her speech. "When- when I blipped back to my apartment, the family that was living there was very confused. The wife thought that I was a mistress. The grandma thought that I was a ghost. It was- it was- it was really a mess," she states, laughing at the end.
"Thank you all for coming out to support those who have been displaced by the Blip. And of course, thanks to our very own Spider-Man and Amethyst!" she voices, causing the audience to erupt in applause. I wave and look at May, who gestures for us to step up to the microphone, which we do. Spidey leans forward and clears his throat, causing the feedback to squeal.
"Thank you, Miss Parker for having me," he awkwardly speaks, stiffly pointing at May. I try my best to contain my laughter. Thank God, my mask covers my mouth. "And thank you, you guys, for having me," he gives two thumbs up and I bite my lip, wanting to laugh so bad. The silence is so loud in here. Spidey steps aside and I move in front of the microphone now.
"Uh, as Spider-Man said, thank you so much to May Parker and to you all for having me here tonight, it's an honor. I know The Blip has affected us all, whether we disappeared or not, so I'm more than happy to be here to show my support for those who've been displaced by it. Thank you for coming out and I hope you enjoy the rest of the night," I voice. The audience claps and I back up, letting May take the mic.
"Thank you, Amethyst and Spider-Man. And they'll be right back out to take photos and videos. Thank you!" she announces. We wave one last time before following May backstage.

WAIT, HELP... What would be a good ship name for Spider-Man + Amethyst? So I could use it in future chapters lol
