Kendall's thoughts
(9:40 AM Monday)
I looked around for him, but I couldn't find him, all until I went into a room. he was on an armchair, rubbing his forehead as if whatever he was thinking was hurting him so much.
"What's going on with you?" I snapped.
His gaze landed on me and he stared, not saying a word.
I sighed, "Are you OK?" I asked instead, hoping he would actually talk to me. He kept staring. "If you're not gonna talk to me, I'm gonna leave you--"
"No wait," he said suddenly, voice so hoarse, he sounded as if he hadn't spoken in days. "Stay..."
I sighed and slumped myself down, "So, you're gonna tell me what's going on with you," I said, biting my nails. Well, I wasn't really biting it, was just... It's a habit and we all have habits.
"I... can't," he then said, shrugging.
I heaved out a sigh and said, "Why can't you? I'm certain there isn't a problem with explaining why you wanted to choke your brother back there."
His eyes widened a little, "You-- you saw that?"
I scoffed, "Hell, yeah, I did, and so did about half a dozen others! You on drugs or something?" I said before I could stop myself.
He chuckled, "I don't do drugs."
"Well, tell me then. Why'd you try and choke your brother!"
"Why would you argue with your sisters over such small things?"
I closed my eyes in patience and opened them again, "I asked you a question, you don't get to ask me unless you answer it."
"Because he was being an ass," Nick said simply. "Because I thought he'd deserve it."
My jaw dropped, "So if he died, suffocated, you'd say he'd deserve it?"
Nick was silent, I can tell his brain is working hard to think of the next words to say. I'm sure this was not how I had imagined our first encounter to be like, but somehow, fate is definitely not on my side. It never really was.
"No, I wouldn't," he said, making me snap back to reality.
"Good, cause that would be crazy."
Nick laughed; he had a cute laugh, "It would be. Why'd you come looking for me, anyway?"
I shrugged, "To be honest, I didn't really want to..."
Nick chuckled, "I don't blame you, you just saw me try and choke my brother."
"Well, I still didn't want it to be this way," I said before I could stop myself. "I thought we'd meet differently, y'know."
Nick sighed, "Well, not everything comes our way. Don't you have a runway to walk?" He suddenly said, making me jump. "Oh, shit yeah I do!"
He laughed, "Come on, I'll accompany you.

I did my pre-show rituals, which were inhaling and exhaling, but I was still nervous. I don't know why, but I think I have a slight plunge of the idea.
What if I trip? Shut up, you've never tripped before.
Well, it is a first time for everything, besides, with him out there watching the whole thing--
He doesn't make a difference. Which he are you talking about anyway?

I looked at my phone. Harry Edward Styles was texting me. Wait, why's his caller ID Edward Styles?
Hello, Kendall, are you ready for your show?
Erm, yes, I think I am. Are you out there?
I always am.
Am I supposed to be scared? I'm scared.
It's normal to be scared, but may I ask you what you're scared about?

I gave myself a facepalm. What a stupid thing to say, Kendall. So stupid.

I put down my phone and rushed to the curtains where the group of models were and started to tap my foot. I did this when I was scared or nervous. No one knows except Gi.
"Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the Dior Supreme Fashion Show! This fine morning will be held in stages between Summer, Spring, and Winter. We will not have fall because it will become way dark."
Everyone laughed.
"Now we want to welcome our very first theme; Spring!"
I saw Bella hug Gigi and walk out gracefully. I cheered her on, unafraid to make noise because people out there were clapping and whistling.
More Spring-themed girls went out there and I gulped before stepping out. The minute I did, people clapped. I was used to this, so I kept my eyes straight and my legs in function so I didn't trip.
I caught Nick's eye; he was giving me a standing ovation, and I couldn't smile in his direction, so I just gave him a cold stare. He smirked back.
I walked about three rounds, all for Spring, Summer, and Winter. I was so happy it was over, but again sad because the show was awesome. The guests were so amazing, they were polite at least.
I caught Harry's eye on my Winter walk and he was doing some weird gesture at me. People were staring at him, one because he was HS, and second; because he was very distracting.
Nick looked irritated since he and Harry were sitting in the same box. Harry was about a row above Nick. I couldn't see why I didn't catch his eye when I saw Nick's.
He probably didn't get there yet. He runs late.
"Hey, Kenny, you were awesome, like always," Bella said, giving me a quick hug. I smiled, "You were gorgeous. I mean, you were the opener, I was the closer."
"You were still awesome," Bella said.
I gushed, "thank you."
"Hey, Kenny, we're heading for lunch, do you wanna come with us?" Gigi asked me, linking arms with Joe, who was next to her. He smiled weakly at me.
I shrugged, "I'm sort of tired, I think I'll miss out on this one."
Gigi pouted, "Awe, OK, you get a lot of rest."
I nodded and Joe did, too, "Wait, you hear dout first, gi, I wanna talk to Kendall about something for a second," he said, shunting his shoulder as some walked past him.
Gigi nodded, "OK, see you..."
When she disappeared I turned to Joe, "What it is?"
"Nick."
"Oh," I said, a rush of relief passing over me. "He's fine, he just said that he was out of control. He's not mad at you, but he thinks you're mad at him."
Joe shook his head, "You're awesome, Kendall, usually, he never listens to anyone. You must have a really strong superpower."
I blushed, "No, I thought I was pretty harsh on him..."
Joe smirked, "Well, that would mean he has a soft spot for you," he said, nudging me. I tried to hide the obviousness in my face and cringe, "Oh well, doesn't everybody?"
Joe chuckled and closed in for a hug. I thought it was some ordinary thing when he whispered in my ear, I instantly froze; "Soulmates. I'm tellin' you."
We broke apart and he gave me one last smile, "I'll see you soon, Kendall."
I nodded, clutching onto my handbag. "Er-- yeah, take care!"
"You, too!"

I'm giving you a long chapter cause I thought I owed you one back there. So... here's another long chapter, and Nendall has finally met!
I obviously did not expect their first meet to be like this, but that's how it is.
