"Shut up, guys, he just liked my pictures, that's all!"
Kourtney grinned at me, her look basically saying that she didn't believe me.
"Really, Kenny? He practically said he'd like to go out with you!"
Yep. I stared at her and said, "Honestly, Kourt, he didn't say that. He just said he wanted to meet up sometime. Far away from a date."
Kourtney and Khloe stared at me as I walked around the room.
"Why're you pacing then?" Khloé said testily as she watched my expression.
"I'm not pacing!" I exclaimed. I don't know why the fuck my temper was rising, but these guys were just being so annoying. "Just shut up about it, alright, don't you have somewhere to be?"
Khloe, somehow, ignored my question and turned to Kourtney. She started talking as if I wasn't even in the room. One of her tactics that made me so annoyed; "How's Kim?"
"Kim? Oh, she's at some modeling thing with Kanye. She's being her bitchy self, I don't even care..."
Khloe's jaw dropped, "Kanye actually said yes to the photoshoot?"
"Well, no Kim dragged him there."
"GUYS!" I said, frustrated.
Kourtney looked at me patiently, "Yes?"
"What's wrong with you?" I asked, sitting down and staring at them. Khloe smiled, "There is nothing wrong with us, sister! We just want you to, you know... be in a relationship like all of us," she said, glancing at Kourtney.
I raised my eyebrows, "A relationship? Like yours? No thank you."
"Well, not like ours," Kourtney said, getting up and blocking the door while I was about to leave. "But, you know, you like Jonas."
My mouth flew open, and I suddenly chuckled, "What? Me? Who, Jonas? Nick? No way, I don't like him, no!"
Kourtney and Khloé didn't believe, like usual.
"He's a really nice guy, though, look at this..." Kourtney continued to say, scrolling through her phone and showing Khloe some things. She showed me the picture on her phone, and it was a picture from his Instagram feed;
"Wow, if I wasn't like, 16 years older than him, I would've hit on him," Kourtney said, making me honestly disgusted. "Look at this one- oh his arms— Kenny, you like buff guys, right?"
I sharpened my eyes and snapped, "What, who said I liked buff guys?"
Of course, I liked buff guys. Those were my type. Also, tall, too. But if you are not buff and not tall, we probably won't ever talk about it.
"Well, seeing the guys you've dated..."
Khloe snapped her head towards Kourtney, "Well, she's never really dated, remember?"
"Oh yeah..."
"OK, OK!" I said, rolling my eyes at them. "Fine, if you're going to just talk to me about my dating life, I want you out. Out, go on, OUT!"
Kourtney and Khloe laughed, and they both left.
I slumped myself on the couch and scrolled through Nick's Instagram again. It was really entertaining to have somebody else's Instagram to stalk other than Kylie's. I'm not saying I enjoy it too much.
A post caught my eye and I clicked on it, careful to not double-click;

I smiled and swiped through all the pictures; they were adorable, especially the young pictures. Joe didn't change one bit, but Nick... oh, huge difference, and I am so surprised.
Just when I was about to continue through his posts, the doorbell rang and I rushed up, pocketing my phone.
"Coming!" I yelled, fixing the pillows that were on the floor.
"Hey!" I said when I opened the door. It was Gigi. She was with her boyfriend; Joe. I gulped. "Come on in, I was totally not expecting you..."
"Thanks, we were just passing by, hope it didn't bother you," Gigi said, a hint of an apology in her voice. I swatted the air, "No need, you guys aren't bothering me. I was just chilling, anyways, no plans today." I slumped down back into my squishy bean bag.
Gigi grinned as she sat down on the couch with Joe, who was stroking her arm softly, "I know, me too! I was supposed to go for a Vogue photoshoot today, but they postponed it, so it would be a week from now."
I nodded, and turned to Joe, who I have not really been too talkative with, "How is your um... band?" I asked, hoping I did not mess things up for myself. Joe grinned.
"It's great, actually, we're doing great," he replied.
I nodded, "That's cool, I heard Cake By the Ocean like, a day ago; it's a really catchy song. I can't get it out of my head," I said, grinning.
Joe cringed, "Not like you want to get it out of my head, right?"
I laughed and pointed at him, "Yes, I don't want it out, no!"
"So, how's Nick?" Gigi said, looking at me.
I didn't answer because I was sure she was asking Joe.
"He's being his independent single self," Joe sighed, rubbing his eyes. Gigi was still looking at me, so I looked down at the pillow on my lap and I started to trace the patterns, hoping they didn't know that I had interactions with Nick this morning.
"We ought to invite him," Gigi said, brightly.
I looked up; I couldn't let him tell Nick herself because Nick would say that I had already told him, and then it'd be so confusing, and there'd be more awkwardness for me!
"Oh, uh, I'm sure he already knows about it," I said, as a matter of factly.
Gigi looked at me, "What? How? Who told him?"
I shrugged, "I don't know, but we texted this morning and he told me that he heard about it."
Gigi and Joe eyed me suspiciously but she said, "Oh, OK, that's fine then, we'll just see him there."
"Just hope he won't ditch up on it," Joe chuckled, rubbing his nose.
"Yeah, let's hope that doesn't happen," Gigi added in.
"So, what're you two planning on doing today?" I asked, hoping to get the conversation away from the party.
Gi shrugged, "Nothing much, just hanging around and... and preparing for the party, I suppose."
"Oh, cool..." I sucked in a breath, debating in my head. So what if I told them about Nick? It would be completely normal since... well, Nick is part of the iNnEr CiRcLe. I grinned. "Guess what?" I suddenly said as Gi and Joe looked up at me.
"What?"
"Nick doesn't even follow me, he just did the day before yesterday," I said to Gigi, who opened her mouth, "No way, he didn't? Ever?"
"Nope." I said, kinda... proudly for some reason.
Joe chuckled and took out his phone, "I don't know if I follow you or not," he joked, making me throw a pillow at him.
