We all go up to the twins' room to say goodbye to them.
Tony and I stand by the door as Wanda and Vision tuck them in. "Okay, hop in," Wanda instructs as she tucks Billy into bed. I watch with a fond grin as Vision goes to sit on Tommy's bed. "Snug as a bug," Wanda notes.
"Big day today. Your mother and I..." Vision trails off. Wanda gives him a worried expression. He returns the expression, knowing what's about to occur. "Are very proud of you both."
Wanda smiles in relief and adds, "very proud."
"So are we," I cut in as me and Tony come closer. "You've made me a very proud auntie," I chuckle, making the boys smile.
Wanda gives me a grateful smile before focusing on her sons. "You know... a family is forever. We could never truly leave each other, even if we tried... You know that, right?" The twins nod and the couple kisses their heads before switching to kiss the other twin's head.
"Goodnight, chaps," Vision says as he walks to the door. The twins return the "goodnight" and Tony and I approach them. We both hug them and Tony high-fives them.
"That face goes there," he jokes, pushing Tommy's head onto the pillow. Tommy laughs at this. "Goodnight, little troublemakers," he voices as he walks to the door.
"Night, Tony," they both respond.
"Goodnight, boys," I softly say, walking to the door as well.
"Goodnight, Aunt y/n."
I look into the room as we stand at the door, becoming nervous when I see the barrier inching closer. "Boys... thanks for choosing me to be your mom," Wanda tells the twins. They grin softly at her and we all exit the room. Once we reach the bottom of the stairs, I grip Vision's arm. He halts and quizzically gazes at me.
"I just want to say that we didn't know each other very well before coming here but... I enjoyed being your 'sister-in-law.' I'm glad we got to know each other."
Vision warmly grins at my statement. "Yes, it's been a pleasure," he responds, sticking his hand out. I shake it firmly and he shrugs and pulls me into a hug. After pulling apart, he walks into the living room to find Wanda while I head into the kitchen where Tony is. I turn on the light, startling him. He smiles fondly when he notices me. He's leaning against the kitchen island and I slowly step toward him. I don't know if I'm ready to say goodbye but it's not like I have a choice.
"Hey, kiddo," he kindly greets.
"Hey... dad," I return. I lean my elbows on the island and look at him.
"So I guess it's too late to go get cheeseburgers, huh?" Tony mentions, making me giggle.
"Yeah," I murmur as I gaze through the kitchen window, seeing the crackling barrier. It's close, I can hear the electrical buzzing getting louder. Tony looks through the window too and slightly frowns.
"Look, I know we don't have much time... but before I go, I gotta ask. Are Pepper and Morgan okay?" he asks. I look into his glossy eyes and feel my heart shatter. If only he could see them one last time.
"They're okay... Morgan is a strong kid, and she's smart... she's a lot like you," I sadly laugh as a tear rolls down my cheek. Tony also laughs and nods as a tear rolls down his own cheek.
"That's good to know. I have another question, I just- I have to know..." he trails off. I look at him expectantly. "What am I?"
I gently take his hand in mine and look him in the eyes. "You are the piece of the Energy Stone inside me. You're a life force, an energy. You're a soul that I made physical," I explain. Tony nods his head in understanding.
"So I'm a ghost," he clarifies.
"Technically, yeah..." More tears begin to flow from my eyes and my lip begins to quiver. "But most importantly, you are my role model, the person I look up to the most... you're my father. Well, one of them."
More tears begin to spill from Tony's eyes as he listens. The electrical buzzing noise grows louder, pushing me to pour my heart out. "I-I need to thank you for everything you've done for me. You gave me a home, a new family... I never got to tell you that I love you."
Tony gapes at me and there's a twinkle in his eyes as if his wish just came true. He embraces me into a tight hug and replies, "I love you too, kiddo. Thank you for coming into my life... We might've been living in a sitcom and I barely remembered anything from the real world, but I'm just glad we had some extra time."
"Me too," I mutter against his shoulder. We snap our heads up when we hear the buzz get louder, knowing we're now out of time. Tony grabs my hands, gently squeezing them as he gazes at me.
"Do me a favor and just live your life. Do everything you want to do, never settle for less... and keep an eye on Peter. You need each other more than you realize," he advises. I nod my head.
"I promise."
He nods and gives me a pained yet relieved smile. "Tell Morgan her dad loves her 3000," he says. I squeeze his hands, afraid to let go. I'm not ready for this, I don't want to let go.
"I will," I assure him. The barrier finally reaches us and we remain in place as red and lavender glitches all around us. Tony's body begins to vanish in a white light but I keep my eyes locked with his.
"Tell Pepper I love her," he voices and I nod my head. I move my hands to his face as his body fades away. Soon enough, the last piece remaining of Tony Stark is his face.
"See you later, kiddo..."
The white light consumes the rest of his face and my hands hold nothing but air now. The house is gone and I'm suddenly back in the clothes I was wearing when we created this reality. I lower my hands and flicker my eyes down, spotting Wanda a short distance in front of me. We lock eyes before looking around the empty lot we're standing in. We turn to each other again and slowly approach one another, embracing in a hug. "They're gone," I murmur.
"Yeah..." Wanda mumbles. We pull apart and I study her numb face, knowing I look the same way. We pull our hoods over our heads at the same time and walk out of the lot, heading toward the town square. I can already imagine the welcome we'll receive. We finally make it and as we pass through, I notice all the glares from the Westview residents as they gather around to watch us. I get it though. I'd be mad at myself too. We walk up to Monica and she gives us an empathetic look.
"They'll never know what you guys sacrificed for them."
"It wouldn't change how they see us," Wanda states.
"So I guess they know I'm Amethyst now?" I mention. Monica sighs and nods her head. Great, so much for keeping that a secret.
"Some people have mentioned it but..." She pauses, awkwardly looking between me and Wanda. "They think that Wanda was the main mastermind. They're still upset with you but a little less." Wanda looks down in disappointment and I frown. This is probably supposed to be a good thing for me but it doesn't make me feel better. I don't like the thought of them villainizing Wanda. "But don't worry, they won't talk. We're handling it," Monica assures me.
Now that brings me some comfort. I don't need the world knowing my identity. "Thank you," I say.
"And you, you don't... you don't hate us?" Wanda inquires. Monica shakes her head.
"Given the chance and given your power, I'd bring my mom back. I know I would."
I slightly nod, understanding her pain perfectly. "I'm sorry. We both are... for all the pain we caused," I apologize.
Monica nods her head and answers, "I know." I dimly smile at her. If only these people were as understanding as her. Although I can't expect them to forgive us after everything we've put them through.
"I don't understand this power. But I will," Wanda states. I furrow my eyebrows, thinking about it. We hear sirens approaching and Wanda and I share a look. "Goodbye, Monica," she says as she turns around.
"Bye, Wanda," Monica replies. I stay back for a second to ask her a question.
"Um, do you know if my brother or... a-are they here?" I nervously stutter.
Monica nods and responds, "they're right outside of town." I sigh in relief and shoot her a thankful smile.
"Thanks. Bye, Monica," I say.
"Bye, y/n," she returns before I spin around. I look at Wanda and we transform into our witch outfits and launch into the sky. We fly until we reach the Welcome to Westview sign and glance back at the town. I look down and notice some cars parked on the road with people standing by them. I gasp and lower to the ground when I realize who they are. Wanda follows my actions, landing next to me. One of them notices us and turns, locking eyes with me.
"Y/n!" Peter calls out, sprinting to me and wrapping me in his arms. I instantly hug him back tightly.
"Pete... I'm so sorry. For everything I put you through," I apologize. He smiles kindly at me and shakes his head.
"It's okay. I know you were just hurting."
He scans my outfit and his eyes widen. He's about to comment on it when everyone else runs up to us. "Y/n!" Lucas voices as he and the party near us.
"Hey," I greet, hugging all of them and apologizing to them as well. "Thanks for trying to help us, even when we tried to push you guys away," I tell them.
"Of course, you're our friend," Mike answers with a sweet grin.
"Yeah and she's an Avenger so that's really cool," Dustin adds, chuckling dorkily and pointing at Wanda. Lucas slaps his arm, making him yelp, "ow!" Wanda and I laugh at this.
"Uh, y/n... we're not the only ones here to see you," Will informs me. He looks behind him and the car doors of two vehicles open. Jonathan and Nancy hop out of one car, and Pepper gets out of the other. I gasp as I set my eyes on them. The sight of Pepper especially makes me tear up. They all run up to me and Pepper reaches me first.
"Oh, y/n, sweetie! Thank God!" she cries as she pulls me into her arms. I sob into her shoulder as she holds me. Her presence is a huge reminder of Tony's last words. I pull back and look between her and Jonathan and Nancy.
"How'd you guys know I was here?"
"Peter and I got here a few days ago when we were looking for you, and then he disappeared inside. I tried to get on base but they'd turn me away every time. Said they didn't want The Press sniffing around. So I called Pepper, I thought they'd let her in since she's your guardian," Jonathan answers.
"They didn't let me through either. I guess we know why now," Pepper chimes in. I nod and turn to the couple.
"It's nice to see you guys," I voice, going in for a hug. Nancy and Jonathan hug back.
"Uh," Dustin voices, making us all look at him. "Is no one gonna acknowledge this?" he gestures to mine and Wanda's new suits. Everyone scans our outfits, which they somehow didn't notice before.
"Wow, new suit?" Jonathan asks.
Wanda and I share a look. "Uh... yeah, I'll explain later," I reply with a small chuckle. "Will you guys give us a minute?" I ask, pulling Wanda aside. They all agree and engage in their own conversation.
"So... what now?" I question. Wanda gazes down before meeting my eyes.
"We're not what we thought we were, and we obviously don't understand the power we hold at all... so I'm gonna study the book Agnes, I mean Agatha, was talking about," she answers.
"The Darkhold," I verify, to which she nods.
"You're welcome to study it with me. It would do good for both of us," Wanda adds. I stay silent, not knowing how to answer. Of course I think it's a good idea to learn more about myself and my magic but I don't know if I want to do that right now. "Y/n? You do want to understand it, don't you?"
"I... I don't know. I mean, I just found out that I'm a witch, that's fucking crazy and kind of scary. With everything that just happened, I just feel like I should stay away from all this magic stuff for a while. I want to feel like a normal teenager for once," I convey. Wanda nods in understanding.
"I get it. I'm leaving. Far away from here, I think it's what's best for me but... if you ever wanna talk or if you want to read the book, you know how to reach me," she informs me. I nod my head. I don't want to see her go again but she has to do what's best for herself.
"I'm gonna miss you, sister," I tell her. She smiles fondly at me, tears forming in her eyes.
"I'm gonna miss you too," she returns, pulling me into a hug. "Thank you for sticking by me."
"Always... After all, we are twitches," I joke. She slightly laughs and rolls her eyes.
"We're not calling ourselves that," she claims.
"Oh, come on, it's cute! Although there may be a copyright issue so I guess you win," I chatter. She shakes her head and giggles.
"Bye, little sis."
"Bye, big sis," I return. She smiles at me one last time before flying off. I watch her sore through the sky. I hope she finds peace. At least now I know that our connection goes deeper than a close friendship. Now I understand why we feel each other's emotions so profoundly. I turn around and see Peter and Jonathan observing me. I make my way over to everyone, transforming into my regular outfit. They all stop talking when I near.
"I'm ready to go home."

Aaaand that's a wrap on the WandaVision era :( I made y/n not want to practice her magic YET because I'm not sure how close to the comics they're going to make Wanda in Multiverse of Madness, and I don't want to do too much. Also, if she becomes super-duper powerful, she'd be able to take out Mysterio in the blink of an eye and then there'd be no movie LMAO
