"Ayanokouji,what are you doing?"
I could say that freely because of how few people were around,his blank expression pierced my soul as we stared at each other for quite a while.If anyone were to see us then what would happen? Well there most probrably would be a misunderstanding but I'd rather not find out.
"Can we talk for a sec? If you don't want to talk here then the library would be a grear choice."
The library was a place students only go to read books and study so most of the time there were a small number of students there.As someone who was quite and obvervant like me,I can understand why that was the first place Ayanokouji thought of.
"Sure."
Come to think of it,I was planning on returning a book I had borrowed today so maybe this would be a great oppertunity.
At the library
"Thank you for returning this book!"
"No sweat."
The library was a place I used to go to very frequently so if I weren't in class then it's likely that I would be in either the dorms of the school library.The place definately was big but not big enough to the point where you'd get lost in the endless pile of what used to be trees.
"Sorry for calling you out here,it looked like you were busy."
"No actually I wasn't,Hirata just offered me to tutor the class for the time being and I really don't mind if someone interfears with our conversation.Speaking of conversations what do you need me for,it's rare that you ever talk to people,Ayanokouji."
The book he as in Ayanokouji had in his hands was one I was intrigued in and that somehow further helped him to get my attention.The book I had in my hands were interesting aswell however I wouldn't say it was specifically my taste,after all I liked the mystery genre more than comedy.However I can't just go into a library and talk to someone without having something on my hands,that would just look suspicious in the eyes of many and would most likely draw attention which I know Ayanokouji here dislikes.
"I want to ask you who you think the next student council president will be,if you can't answer then I have another question if that's fine with you."
Next student council president huh? Obviously a lot of people pop into my mind but...
"No it's ok I'll answer both,I have a good feeling the next student council president will be Miyabe Nagumo."
I had a feeling that Ayanokpuji had no idea who he was but it was understandable,after all I got that idea after walking past the door to the studnet council room.
"I see,then here's my second question.Why are you trying so hard to reach to class-A,in case you didn't notice it was pretty obvious."
He saw right through,no doubt that this guy is a masterpiece but it's already starting to get ridiculous.
"Let's just say I made a promise to Horikita,she wanted me to help her so I provided help.Besides and I'm sure you realise this better than anyone since you two seem close but she needs allies."
"That's strange coming from you,it appears to me and the others that you like doing everything yourself."
"Is that supposed to be an insult?" Is what I would have said but I decided to keep quite,I could relate to Horikita since she reminded me of my past self.I saw myself in her so I decided to lend her a hand in accending to class-A with the condition of not knowing anything about me and Ayanokouji.
"Is that all? Is so then maybe I should get going."
"You sure? Why the hurry? It's not like you can't make it back to the dorms quickly right? Besides it's still very early,why not sit down and read some books with me for another hour?."
'Cornered',I thought.Really I couldn't find a reason why he was so persistent on keeping me close to his radar.
If it weren't for the fact that he was right,I wouldn't have sat back down and continue to read the book.It looks like Kiyotaka Ayanokouji wants to analyze me further....
