Tenten & Neji ~Protection~

-Chapter 2- Avoidance

"KYAHHHHH!!!" I screamed as I continued falling. It had felt like forever. I saw the walls moving so much. I looked at the ground and THUD

I gasped as I got up. Lee and Neji were knocking on my door. I looked at my time. I apparently overslept. I took a deep breath and acted like everything was fine.

"HOLD ON!! I'M COMING IN A SEC!" I yelled. I got on my clothes, fixed my hair, grabbed my breakfast, and then ran out.

"Hey guys." I faked my smile.

"ALRIGHT lets gOOOO!" Lee then ran off to training. I just wanted to cry to myself. I picked up my pace, trying to avoid Neji at all cost.

Training Ground

"ALRIGHT 500 PUSH UPS!" Guy yelled.  Lee and Guy were nailing it. They were already at 50. Neji was at 20. I was barely at 5.

"COME ON TENTEN!" Guy yelled.

"I'M TRYING!!" I yelled. I then fell face to the ground.

"ALRIGHT 500 PULL UPS!" Guy yelled. I grabbed on the bar and tried pulling myself up. Lee and Guy were really fast. Neji was fast ish. I wasn't. I couldn't reach to 10 without falling down on my butt.

"ALRIGHT 500 SIT UPS!" Guy yelled. I just stared at them.

All of the girls are relaxing. Ino is at her shop working. Hinata is spending time with Naruto. Sakura is practicing medical jutsu... meanwhile I'm being forced to train something so difficult.... I get no breaks... every day is the same... I get yelled at. I'm sick of being a ninja.

"TENTEN!" Guy yells. He then stands up and looks at my face.

"Give me your ninja band." Guy said. I gasped. Neji and Lee watched.

"Wh- .... What did I do wrong?!" I asked. He just stared at me. I looked at the ground trying so hard not to cry. I untied my band and gave it to Guy.

"Thank you." Guy said. I clenched my fist. I couldn't hold it anymore. I ran away sobbing.

Konoha

I ran pass everyone and ran back to my home slamming the door. I then ran to my bed bawling. I was no longer a Ninja. I hated my life so much. So much. I haven't left my home today...

Next day...

I grabbed my scrolls and got ready. I then left the house. I saw Ino and Sakura talking.

"Hey Tenten!" Ino waved. I ignored them walking by them as I looked at the ground. I was heading towards the training Ground again.

Training Ground

"STUPID, RUDE, ASSHOLE SENSEI!!!" I threw my kunai hard at the target. I was throwing away my anger.

"WHAT DID I EVER DO WRONG?!? I WAS TRYING MY BEST BUT ALL HE DOES IS YELL AT ME!!" I yelled. Throwing shurikens.

"I DIDN'T DESERVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!! I... I .... I JUST....i just... want to... be happy for once..." I looked at the ground.

"I don't... have anything to be happy about..." I began crying.

"Maybe I should leave Konoha. I bet nobody would care. Or I should die." I said. I was going crazy.

"...Tenten...?" I heard someone and turned around. It was Neji. I glared at him.

"What do you want?! Laugh at me? I bet-" I was cut off by his hug. He hugged me. I was shocked. I felt... better. I hugged him back, sobbing on his shoulder.

"I got your band back." Neji showed me.

"Wh- how...?" I asked.

"I snuck in. You deserve so much more. Your a strong girl. So strong that sometimes I'm even scared." Neji said. I then felt my face getting red.

Why am I blushing? WHY AM I BLUSHING???

"Tenten... I don't care what anyone says about you... You are so beautiful, sweet hearted, and... I love that..." Neji grabbed my waist and pulled me in close. My head was foggy. I was so confused. My face was burning up. I wanted to say something but I was too confused. My heart was flying. His face got closer and closer. I looked into his eyes. Then he said something that Changed everything.

"I....Love....You...." Neji said. His lips connected to my lips. I had gasped. He then stopped and looked at me. I tried saying something but everything I said was babbles and mumbles.

"Sigh... I know you hate me. I was a shitty person back then. But I've changed. I want you to know that, I actually... liked you since we met. I didn't want to show it though..." Neji said. It was like he was a completely different person.

"M-M-My F-F-First K-K-Kiss..." I stuttered then fainted with a red face.

"T-Tenten?!" Neji panicked. He shook me. I was back into reality got up and hugged him.

"Thank you... I needed that..." I said. Neji sighed with a smile.

"Neji!" Guy yelled.

"Shall we skip training and have our own training?" Neji said. Without me responding, he picked me up and jumped away.

"N-Neji?!" I said. He took me to his home. The Hyuga had a training ground. So they used that. Neji was practicing his jutsu. I was practicing attacks with my pole.

"Would you guys like some tea?" Hinata said. I nodded. I then sat at the balcony with Neji drinking tea.

"Thanks Hinata!" I said with a smile. I then noticed Neji was having a nosebleed. He pretended to act normal.

"Neji...look at me" I said. He then looks at me. I gave him the cutest smile. He then fell over with a nosebleed.

"Thought so" I laughed. Neji looks at me and joins laughing.

"E-Eh...? Neji you never laugh..." Hinata said. Neji realized and blushed.

"I er... Its nothing!" Neji walked inside.

"Did something happen...? He is such in a good mood." Hinata said. I then blushed.

"Well... uh... he may have uh... confess to me..." I said shyly.

"C-Confess? You mean... in love?" Hinata said. I nodded.

"He also... kissed me.." I said. Hinata face went red.

"That's... so unlike him..." Hinata face then became determined. She grabbed my shoulder and looked at my face.

"Keep making him happy. I love seeing him like this." Hinata said.

"I- okay." I said.

Did I really make him so happy...? It's odd... but... I like this kind of Neji.. its.. kinda nice...
