"There; it's zipped," Trish says and I let go of holding my hair out of her way.
"How's my veil?"
"It's good," she says and leans past the partition. "Attention everyone. The bride is ready."
As I step out from behind the partition of my changing area, their gasps and tear-filled eyes make me smile. Once I'm stood in front of the full-length mirror, my bridesmaids, my mum and my soon-to-be mother-in-law gather behind me.
"Oh JJ, you look positively gorgeous," Anne coos. "My son is a lucky man."
"You're absolutely stunning," Gemma says while fixing my train. "You're the most exquisite bride to ever exist, love."
"That's a bit of an overstatement, but thank you just the same."
Smiling at their reflections in the mirror, I exhale a nervous breath and turn my attention back to my own reflection. Thanks to Trish, Anne and my mum's help, I'm dressed in my A-line gown and thanks to Emmet's hard work, my makeup is done and my hair is styled in a timeless look of classic loose waves.
I've never felt more beautiful than I do right now.
