"Okay, the snacks are ready, the witch's brew is bubbling and the decorations are up," I rattle off my checklist to myself, looking around at the Halloween-theme decorated living room and I decide to fluff the adorable throw pillows with a picture of dancing skeletons on them.

My nerves are about to get the best of me since Harry and I are hosting our first party together in our flat, but the music playlist, spooky-themed food and wonderful company should make for the perfect party.

"JJ, where are you, love?"

"M'in the living room," I answer, looking over to my right and I can't stop the grin from spreading on my face as Harry dressed as a Stormtrooper exits the kitchen with the help of Maggie who's dressed as a ladybug.

"What's so funny?" he asks, appearing to have his feelings hurt.

"I'm not laughing at you, love," I coo, walking over to him and I peck his lips. "You look gr- wait . . . are you eating a mummy pizza bite after I specifically said you couldn't have one yet?"

"Uhm, I-" he's interrupted by the doorbell and I let out an excited sound.

"Our first guest."

"So you're not upset with me for sneaking this?" he asks and boldly takes another bite.

"Mmm, I guess not," I muse and he grins while chewing his bite. "Will you turn on the music, please?"

He mumbles his answer with a mouthful and I roll my eyes into a smile. As I make my way to the door, I stop to check my hair and makeup in the cobweb-decorated mirror hanging in the entryway and I can't help but smile at the silly reflection.
