"Jimin why in the hell are you letting strangers into your house?!" Hoseok started after he closed the door to Jimin's bed room. The area was wide and made up of pastel hue walls. There was a grey, queen sized bed in the middle with a mirror and desk to the right of it. The windows were slightly open, allowing both whatever was left of the sun and a chilly breeze to sweep through. Against the flutter of his curtains, Hoseok looked like a wraith.

"How do you know he's a stranger though?" Jimin countered, hopping onto the soft cushion of his mattress and waving his legs. Mostly hoping he'd get this whole conversation over with and be able to go back to his boi in the other room. "Maybe I have friends outside of our friend group."

"Jimin don't lie to me, this could be dangerous."

"What?" Jimin bit the inside of his lip and furrowed his brow, his eyes still fixed on the door as if he could see through the hard wood of it and into the kitchen where he had full faith Jungkook was definitely stealing his spoons. Especially the limited edition Jimmy Cricket plastic one he'd gotten from Disney land two years ago. Jimin and that spoon had been through the best of times, the worst of times, and now it was most definitely being stolen.

"The fact that he's in the house," Jimin continued, finally looking at Hoseok, "or the fact that I didn't check him through you and Jin first."

"Don't be defensive."

"Don't be defensive?" Jimin laughed, shaking his head as if Hoseok had just told him the earth was flat. "Are you serious? God you hyungs always try to dictate every aspect of my life as if I can't make my own desicions."

"Look Namjoon and I-"

"What does Namjoom have to do with this?" Jimin snapped, now jumping off of the bed and beginning to pace at how absurd his friend was being. "I barely even know Namjoon, I don't see why he'd care."

Hoseok narrowed his eyes and sighed, holding the bridge of his nose with his fingers. Jimin's small scowl softened at that. It wasn't like Jimin went out of his way to get to know the older either.

"You know he has a soft spot for you all of Jin's friends. He's just protective." Hoseok explained. Hoseok and Namjoon had always been close, that Jimin knew well, but whenever Hoseok spoke of the guy there was always the feeling that he knew something Jimin didn't.

"Hoseok, I appreciate all this," Jimin moved towards his door, wanting to change the topic and move on, standing with a steady grip on the handle. "I really do, but Jungkook is a friend. So, I'd also appreciate it if you could keep your opinions to yourself and let me have a life outside of our friend group. Because, again, I actually can. Besides, Taehyung likes him. So friend group stamp of approval was already passed on by Tae."

"I'm sorry but Jimin what if he tries something with you?" Hoseok placed his hand on the door before Jimin had the chance to open it, trapping them both inside Jimin's absolutely gorgeous and definitely not overly grey or relatively small room to finish the pow wow. "I saw the way he was looking at you." Hoseok continued, his voice dropping, "Like he couldn't wait to just -" Hoseok pulled away, rubbing the insides of his eyes with his thumb and pointer finger, a sigh escaping his lips. "I'm not going to say it but it looked dangerous."

Jimin glared, "I can fend for myself."

"No Jimin, you can't." Hoseok said as he slowly shook his head, ignoring Jimin's now pressing glare. "Taehyung wasn't at the apartment, no one was. Anything could have happened and now the kid knows where you live."

"That kid has a name." The blond boy fired back, trying to pull the handle yet again only for the door not to budge with Hoseok pushing back against it.

"Jimin, please just look at this from the outside-" Hoseok pleaded.

"All I see is a friend of mine freaking out because for once in my life I met someone who wasn't facilitated through you guys." Jimin was raising his voice at this point, "Hell I even met Jin through Tae." Jimin exclaime before dropping his hand from the door handle and pointing it at Hoseok's chest. "So I don't care what you, Seokjin, or Namjoon especially have to weigh in on this."

"We're just trying to protect you-" Hoseok said stepping forward leaving enough room for Jimin to grab the door, swinging it open. He caught a glance at Jungkook, who was still sitting at the kitchen island, holding up the lemonade cup as if to inspect it. The beautiful brunette boy could feel Jimin's eyes on him and so he put down the cup and waved.

Jimin looked back at Hoseok, hurt and irritated, before pushing the rest of the door all the way open. "I'm gonna need you to leave." Jimin sighed, waiting for the dumbfounded Hoseok to step through.

"Jimin." Hoseok exclaimed, surprised to say the least at being kicked out by a kid he's looked after for years. At that, Jimin felt a little pang of guilt. Hoseok had gone through a rough break up before the two boys got close and he's been wary for his friends ever since, but Jimin also couldn't always be his outlet.

"Go home, Hoseok." Jimin stated again, rubbing the sides of his temples with a sigh. "Please?" He added, looking up at the boy with kindness in his gaze and a certain tiredness that Hoseok couldn't get himself to argue against. Like when a cat falls asleep on your stomach and you realize you can never move again. Jimin then looked over at Jungkook who was sitting there with an empty cup and a goofy grin spread across his face. "You too," Jimin snapped.

"What did I do?" Jungkook asked, browns raised and grin dropped.

"This isn't a victory for you coconut boy, so don't treat it as one."

Hoseok had one hand on the front door, a direct glare blaring Jungkook's direction with the smallest hint of a smirk over the fact that Jimin was kicking him out of the apartment too. Jungkook returned the glare, sliding off of his stool slowly as he got his things and walked out the door. He glanced back at Jimin one time, a mix of confused and hurt, before shaking off any trace of either emotion.

The door echoed as it shut behind Jungkook and Hoseok. Jimin slid down to the floor, holding his head in his hands with his knees by his chest. His friends cared about him, he knew that, and maybe Hoseok was right, maybe he had been careless, but even with his thoughts circulating around Hoseok's warnings, he couldn't get the image of Jungkook's surprised smile when Jimin asked him if he wanted lemonade out of his head. He couldn't shake off the strange butterflies ranging in his chest or the way he felt like he'd drank seven Red Bull's after one conversation with the dumb kid.

Dangerous, Hoseok had called Jungkook.

Jimin agreed, Jungkook was dangerous, but he and Hoseok had very different reasons as to why they believed so.
