The doors opened up wide and everyone in the room could feel the shine glaze out from door. The presences of each character could be felt before they even entered the room. The first to enter was the Head of all Good Demons, Master Akimitsu. He walked towards his throne which was sitting just behind where Suzuki and the others were. Then, in chronological order, the Capitani Leggeri followed behind.
You could feel the talent and raw strength brew with the swagger they had when they entered the room. The odd numbers lined up on the left of were Master Akimitsu was sitting and then the even numbers lined up on the right and faced each other. Just behind them were some of the Vice Captains to the members of the Capitani Leggeri.
"It's been a long time, Suzuki-kun. I see you have gotten stronger since the incident in the Soul Realm.", greeted Akimitsu.
"It's nice to see you again, Master Akimitsu.", responded Suzuki.
"Now then, allow me to introduce you to the Capitani Leggeri. Going from left to right we have the Number One Captain, Mr Bushido and his Vice Captain Miyu Tsukamoto.", began Akimitsu.
"Another Fujimura, I see. What kind of personality will you have?", wondered Mr Bushido.
"A newbie! A newbie! How amusing!", gleamed Miyu.
"The Number Two Captain, Rin Miyashiro and her Vice Captain, Chinami Shimamoto."
"How are you healing up, boy?", asked Rin.
"Looking dapper, Reckless-kun.", teased Chinami.
"The Number Three Captain, X and his Vice Captain, Toju Kamata."
"Good day", said X.
"Let's work together!", smiled Toju.
"The Number Four Captain, Yoshino Umeji."
"I feel like this is a precise time for you to excel, rookie.", stated Yoshino.
"The Number Five Captain, Tabito Uchimura."
"It is my pleasure to put a name to a face, Suzuki Fujimura-kun. I see that you have also have Princess Hikarineko with you too. Long time no see.", introduced Tabito.
"Likewise, Prince Tabito.", answered Hikari.
"The Number Six Captain, Ken Imamura."
"You've got some guts to go up against some of the opponents you've faced. I like you style, kid.", praised Ken.
"The Number Seven Captain, Mari Fujima."
"I'm only new around here but don't be afraid to rely on me!", grinned Mari.
"The Number Eight Captain, Chisa Saiki."
"Hey! Let's hang out!", waved Chisa.
"The Number Nine Captain, Ai Kudo."
"Let me tell you all my grand adventures.", chirped Ai.
"The Number Ten Captain, Tekeshi Hajime."
"Long time no see, Suzuki Fujimura. I appreciate your help with the Cat Palace incident.", thanked Tekeshi.
"The Number Eleven Captain, Benjiro Saito."
"It's nice to see a newcomer in action! Wouldn't you agree, Keiichineko-san?", quizzed Benjiro.
"Nyahaha! Your whole demeanor hasn't changed, Benjiro.", laughed Keiichineko.
"And finally, the Number Twelve Captain, Maiko Koyama."
"If you ever have troubles, make sure that big sis here looks after you.", bubbled Maiko.
And so, the twelve captains introduced themselves to Suzuki and the others. Suzuki bowed his head and greeted them once more as a sign of respect. Now that the formalities are out of the way, they now commence the Welcome Party open!
Everyone in the hall were talking among themselves, drinking, eating and overall having a good time. This was the first time that Suzuki has felt normal since he met Keiichineko.
"You've been through some extraordinary battles, Suzuki. How were you able to handle them?", wondered Haru.
"Oh! Oh! I'm interested too!", whooped Miyu.
"I guess it was my desire to protect those who are close to me. The burning regret that I wasn't able to stop my father all them years ago is the fuel I need to carry on when I have people behind my back that I want to protect.", explained Suzuki.
"Amazing!", resounded Haru.
"That's very manly, Suzuki!", exclaimed Hajime.
"Hey! Hey! Why are them two girls glaring over here at us?", Miyu pointed out.
Suzuki swiftly moved his eyes over to see that it was once again Anna and Hikari.
"Oh no! Looks like I am in some form of trouble.", thought Suzuki.
"Ahem! Everyone! Can I get your attention please!", yelled Akimitsu.
Once he called out, they all went quiet and focused their attention to Master Akimitsu.
"As normal tradition, I will offer the opportunity of the newbie to the Ricognizione Leggera to jump the gun and become apart of the Capitani Leggeri straight away!", started Akimitsu.
"What?!", gasped Suzuki.
"Oops! I forgot to mention that part! Nyahahha!", meowed Keiichineko.
"I have decided that the opponent shall be......Ken Imamura!", announced Akimitsu.
"Just wait a minute, Master Akimitsu! Suzuki was just healed by me and Chinami this morning! There is no way he can fight so soon! He might reopen his wounds and die.", fretted Rin.
"That shouldn't be a problem for a warrior, Rin. At any moment's notice, a powerful foe could come out of the woodworks when you are beaten. Do you just leave him to run rampant even though your are gravely injured?", Akimitsu commented.
"How about it, kid? Are you gonna show me some guts and face me?", provoked Ken.
"Don't answer that, Reckless-kun. You're in no real shape to fight!", warned Chinami.
"I agree, Suzuki. As the healer of the Clan, I advice that you consider your health before doing anything stupid.", advised Anna.
"What are you guys talking about? What Master Akimitsu said was true, there is no way I would let a powerful foe run wild if I can still move. If I did something like that, I wouldn't be fit to become the future Good Demon Lord. Yeah, I take your challenge, Master Ken Imamura!", declared Suzuki.
