Manakin Village Arc Chapter 6: Jacob and Maria!

Suzuki was led there in pain. His veins were bulging out of his head and the poison in his body caused him excruciating pain. The random girl walked over to Suzuki to examine the state he was in. She pulls something out of her pocket and starts to chew it. She raises Suzuki's head and rest her lips on his to pass through the thing she was chewing.

"A Kiss!", Hebi pointed out.

"W..What are you doing?!", exclaimed Anna.

"Wait you guys! She is giving him some antidote for the poison. Since Suzuki can't eat it himself she has to pass it on to him this way~nyaa.", Keiichineko told.

The random girl move her lips away from Suzuki's and checked his pulse rate. She sensed that the pulse was slowly coming back to normal.

"That was a close one! One more second and he was a gonna for sure!", stated the random girl.

"Really!", gasped Shinki.

"I should introduce myself. My name is Maria Wilson. Nice to meet you!", introduced Maria.

"I guess the boy hiding behind that rock is with you.", sensed Keiichineko.

"Oh! Yes, he is my little brother! Come over here, Jacob!", Maria called over.

The young boy lifted his head over the rock and move towards his sister. He pulled on his sisters t shirt and cleared his throat.

"Why did you help the demons?!", shouted Jacob.

"Because they needed help! Besides the one I healed over there is more human than demon.", explained Maria.

"I hate you and the demons!", Jacob blurted out.

He ran away from the group and looked to be heading over to the Village. His sister tried to stop him but he got away from her too quickly. After that commotion happened, Suzuki began to rise up once more. He coughed and splurged all over the place before he could anything.

"Phew! That was close! I need something to eat after that! Thanks for saving me!", thanked Suzuki.

"You're very welcome! Erm...What's your name?!", asked Maria.

"Oh! My name is Suzuki Fujimura and this is my Clan. The human looking cats are Keiichineko and Anna, the human looking dog is WonderDog...I mean Shinki and the scaly looking dude is Hebi!", Suzuki presented.

"Okay! You probably didn't catch my name. Once again, my name is Maria! Nice to meet you all! May I ask what you guys are doing here?", questioned Maria.

"We are on a mission to track down Beezlebub! Do you know where he could be?!", queried Suzuki.

"You're here to take down Beezlebub! He's a fallen captain, you know! You could get yourself killed!", worried Maria.

"There flirting is annoying.", complained Anna.

"Nyahahahaha! Jealous, are we?!", teased Keiichineko.

"N..No! Stop with that!", barked Anna.

"Come on! You remind me of her when she was around me when she was younger.", said Keiichineko.

"You mean L...Nevermind! I am not like her!", concluded Anna.

"Don't worry Maria! Beezlebub may be strong but me and my Clan can do anything!", grinned Suzuki.

After hearing that, the Fujimura Clan spirits rose and so did Maria. She said to them that she will guide them to the Manakin Village and offered them to stay at their place while they search for Beezlebub.

Knowing the place, Maria guides them down to the quickest route to the Village and as they arrived they couldn't believe their eyes. Faceless humans were all around them and there were also some with faces.

There where lots of little houses and little shops around and right in the center there is a massive water feature that has some old man with a face. On the plaque it says 'Hiroki the First. The first ever leader of the Manakin Village'. Maria points to an old run downed rut that looked like it was on its last legs and she revealed that it was her home. She unlocks the door and sees an old man glaring at her and the visitors.

"Granddad Eric! What are you doing?!", questioned Maria.

"I heard from Jacob that you helped and healed a demon. I am proud that you helped some one in need but...A DEMON! You know Jacob wouldn't of taken that well!", yelled Eric.

"But Granddad Eric! They needed help and they are from the Good Demon Realm! I'm still upset about the incident that happened when we were kids but we can't judge these people because they are demons!", Maria yelled back.

"Em......I know this isn't the place but why do you have such an agenda against us?", asked Suzuki.

"It all happened when I found these two kids back when I was in the human world. Blood was everywhere as I saw two bodies on the side of the road and it was then when I saw Jacob and Maria curled up at the side crying. They were shouting 'Mister! Please stop that demon!' but there was no demon there. I took these two in and raised them here in Manakin Village.", revealed Eric.

"I'm sorry to hear about the past. I can empathise with the horrors of someone destroying something.", empathised Suzuki.

"I bet!", said Jacob sarcastically.

"Sorry?", said Suzuki.

"I bet you don't know anything like we went through! All you demons are the same! Wolves in sheep clothing!", shouted Jacob.

"Stop that Jacob! Granddad Eric! Do something!", complained Maria.

"That's enough out of the both of you! I know the state of the Demon Realm more than you two and I can tell that Maria is right! These people are here with good intentions but like I said before I can understand Jacob's frustration.", boomed Eric.

After that, Jacob ran off to his room and slammed the door. Maria started to tear up as she hated arguing with her brother and Eric just went and sat back down in his chair.

"He reminds me of me when I was younger. In pain and feeling like he is all alone even though his relatives are there for him. I know this may sound weird but can you guys allow me to help him?", offered Suzuki.

"You can try.", sighed Eric.

"Suzuki.", blushed Maria to the distaste of Anna.

Suzuki knocked on the door but Jacob didn't answer but he kept trying and trying and then the timid boy opened the door. Suzuki smiled and began to tell his story about his life so far.

"So you know the pain as well", Jacob said.

"Yeah! I know that losing both your parents is hard and you hate the demons but the Good Demons want to protect everyone from the Dark Demon Realm. Don't hold resentment forever as it will get you nowhere! You are strong! I am sure you can tackle that wall that is blocking your view! Just like I did!", encouraged Suzuki.

"Yeah", agreed a pumped up Jacob.
