Walking through the work site I'm a little anxious to leave today. Nicolette and the girls went home yesterday, so I will be going to her home for the first time.

"Here we bought you a burger and fries," Fred says handing me a bag.

"So how does it feel to be a dad?" Phillip ask.

"A little weird especially because I wasn't prepared for any of this, but who couldn't fall in love with her?"

"She is beautiful," Phillip comments.

"Dude I feel left out. When can I see her?"

"I can ask Nicolette if you can come by one day this week. I'm sure she wouldn't mind."

"So what did Deshawn have to say?" Phillip ask. "I know when Kristy went by Nicolette's house yesterday he wasn't there."

"I'm not sure she hasn't said much about him. When I went by the hospital yesterday he was there, but he left as soon as I got there."

"Damn that's crazy. I know it has to be hard to deal with your wife having a baby with you and another man."

"Yea, but Kristy told me he barely came home most nights and he wouldn't work or help Nicolette out. She said it got worst when Nicolette was pregnant." Phillip sighs. "Nicole her sister called his supposed job and they said they didn't have anyone by his name that worked there."

"Really?" Fred ask.

"Yep, Kristy also said for three weeks he pretended to have an overnight job, and he made it to the hospital when Nicolette was pushing."

"Now that's fucked up. He has to be cheating," Fred replies.

"I don't know but I don't feel bad for dude," Phillip replies.

I'm just eating my food listening to them. I start laughing when I get a picture in my head of two old women sitting on the porch drinking tea gossiping.

"What's funny?" Fred ask.

"You two sound like two old women. You should hear yourself."

They both stand there for a minute and then burst out laughing.

"Fred and Kristy are rubbing off on me," Phillip says.

"Me?" Fred asks giving a fake surprised face.

"Yeah, you. You always know what's going on," Phillip states.

Fred looks up in thought. "Yeah, I guess your right. I think it comes from being raised with women." He shrugs. "...but what did Amber say? She can't be happy about this"

"I haven't talked to her yet. I'm going over to her house tonight for dinner. I needed time to process all this before I got her in my ear."

"Well keep an eye out for knives and any other sharp items," Phillip says laughing.

When I make it to Nicolette's house. I stand outside the door before knocking on the door. I think of my talk with my lawyer today. He advised me on a fair amount based on my income for child support. So I have her first check plus and extra check because I didn't help during the pregnancy. I also added Arabella on my health insurance and started her and Octavia a trust. I make more than enough with all the new projects I've been getting. I've had to hire a whole new crew to keep up. It was only fair to do both girls based on what Phillip said.

Knocking on the door I wait. One minute later Nicole opens the door with a smirk on her face. "It's the biker," she yells.

I chuckle to myself. I don't think she will ever call me by my name.
