After a long day of walking and fighting, Sole and her partner decided to relax in her Sanctuary home for the night. In the early hours of the next morning, Sole was tormented by horrible nightmares about Nate's murder and Shaun's kidnapping. She awakened in a panicked state and gently wept into her pillow. The commotion caught the attention of her lover:

Cait
"Hey now, darlin," Cait tiredly called, rolling over and pulling her lover into a warm embrace, "ye dreamin about yer hubby and Shaun, yeah?" Sole began sobbing and Cait held her lover against her tightly, "It's okay, beautiful. Why don't we sit up and talk about it? I know it must be hard for ye." Sole sat up and Cait lit he bedside candle. She then wrapped an arm around her lover. "I know how those night terrors are, used to get em all the time. I can't imagine how hard this is for ye, love." She smirked, "But don't ye forget that yer girlfriend is the roughest, toughest fighter in the Combat Zone. We'll get yer baby back. I'll kick as many arses as I haveta." Cait playfully ruffled her lover's hair, "It's bedtime, hun. We've got some baby huntin to do tomorrow."

Danse
"Soldier?" Danse asked, completely alert. "Need to talk about something?" Sole shot awake and clung onto her lover, sobbing into his chest. Danse held Sole close and gently ran his fingers through her hair. "It's going to be alright, soldier."  Sole looked at Danse, eyes glimmering with grief. Danse wiped away the tears from Sole's eyes and used his finger to brush away stray strands of hair from her face.  He held Sole's shoulders tenderly and looked solemnly into her eyes, "We're going to find your son; the son-of-a-bitch who kidnapped him won't get away with it on my watch." Sole's lip quivered and Danse continued, "I'll neutralize anyone who tries to stand in our way." Sole weakly smiled and Danse gently kissed her forehead, "Now get some rest, soldier. You look exhausted."

Hancock
"Hey, hey," Hancock yawned, opening his arms, "Come here, gorgeous." Sole accepted her lover's tight embrace, resting her head in the crook of his neck and letting out stifled sobs. Hancock gently rubbed her back "It'll be alright, doll. No doubt we'll get your kid back, okay?" He kissed the top of her head. "Besides, I've got some pret-ty solid connections. If Shaun's kidnapper has at least half a functioning brain cell, he won't be messin with us. Trust me." Sole sniffled and Hancock wiped away her tears. "I know whole shotstorm is tearing you apart, but you need to get some shut eye," Sole laid down and Hancock tucked her back in, "Remember, I'll be right beside ya if you need me."

Piper
"Blue, what's wrong?" Piper, worried about her lover, sat up and lit the candle on the nightstand. She looked at Sole and saw her lying face down, sobbing into the pillow. "Shhh," she hushed, gently rubbing Sole's back, "You wanna talk about it? I'm all ears." Sole sat up and tried to compose herself. She scooted over next to Piper, who held her in a warm embrace. Piper rested her chin on Sole's shoulder. "Worried about Shaun and dreaming about Nate? I can't say I blame ya for being so upset. It's a lot of baggage to manage, Blue." Piper looked up and gave Sole a peck on the cheek. "We'll get Shaun back, dollface. Don't you worry about that. You have so many people supporting you. Everything will be okay." The two sat in silence for a few moments before Piper spoke again. "But you know, you really should catch some z's. All these nights of restless sleeping is gonna catch up with you."

Gage
"Boss? What's wrong," Gage asked, concerned, "Why're ya cryin? This ain't like ya." Sole rolled over and sobbed into her lover's arm. An alarmed Gage stiffened. He had no idea what was happening and was extremely concerned. "You goo—?" Gage stopped and rephrased, "Stupid question. I know ya ain't. Can ya tell me what's wrong?" After a while, Gage have Sole a stern look, "Don't you tell me you're givin up, boss," Gage began, "Cuz let me tell ya. You've got nothin to cry about. You're the strongest person I know; hell, the strongest I've ever met. If anyone can get your kid back, it's you." Sole look at Gage and the raider smirked. "And don't ya go thinkin that the bastards who took em are gonna get passed me, either. Cuz they ain't. I'll mess em up." Gage ruffled his partner's hair and gave her a peck on the forehead. "I think it's about time ya get some sleep. You're gonna need it."

MacCready
"Huh?" A groggy MacCready rolled over to face his lover. When he realized that Sole was crying, he immediately became vigilant. He lit the bedside candle and placed a gentle hand on Sole's shoulder. "Hey, hey hey, don't cry," he pleaded, "What's the matter? Wanna talk about it?" Sole sat up and collapsed into her lover's arms, sobbing into his shoulder. MacCready held her close, rocking her a bit. "I know how hard it is for you right now. But Shaun is still out there and we'll find him, okay? That's a promise." MacCready stuck out his pinky, and Sole accepted the gesture. The couple pinky swore on it. "Now get to sleep, beautiful. You need the rest."

Preston
"Woah, General calm down," A startled Preston rolled over to face a sobbing Sole, who had just awakened him from a deep sleep. When he had finally become oriented , Preston embraced his lover. "Shhh," he whispered, "Babe, what's wrong? I want to help you." Preston held Sole tightly, burrowing his head into the back of their neck. "I can't even fathom how painful it is to think about your husband and son," Preston stated, "But I promise that the Minutemen will do anything we can to find him. I will do everything in my power to make sure of it."
Preston sat up, motioning for Sole to lay her head on the pillow. She did, and Preston tucked her in, "You need some shut eye, babe. Tomorrow's a new day, and one day closer to finding Shaun."

Curie
"Oh non, come here my love." Curie wrapped her arms around Sole and pulled her close, showering her with kisses. "Shhh. Please, tell me what is wrong. We can chat. I shall light the candle, yes dearest?" Curie promptly sat up and lit the candle. The room was illuminated, and she could now clearly see Sole curled up in a ball crying. "My love," Curie began, softly stroking her partner's arm, "What is troubling you?" Sole placed her head in Curie's lap and continued to bawl. "Having nightmares about your husband and son? Oh dear, I can't even imagine how traumatic that was for you." Curie pet her lover's hair, "But do not fret, Madam. We shall find him; I will be by your side the entire time." Sole relaxed a bit and Curie smiled, "I'm so relieved that you're feeling better. But you need some rest, my love. You're going to burn yourself out."
