Livia's POV:

"Ohh Liv, you look so beautiful!" Lucy exclaims covering her face with her hands to prevent her from crying.

"Stop it" I usher her, "You’ll set me off-" I laugh, wiping carefully under my eyes before swatting her shoulder away.

It was now half one. Eric had been gone for over three hours and I was beyond worried. I didn't care about a wedding taking place. I love Josh and I want to marry him yes, but if I had to choose between a name title and his safety I'd pick the second in a heartbeat. I just want him safe and with me.

"He'll be there Liv" Lucy smiles and I shake my head laughing at how easily she can read my mind. Linking her arm with mine she begins to lead me down the hallway and to the front door where my dad waits for us. "He might be a prat but he wouldn't miss his own wedding. You should know that" She continues, pinching my waist making me laugh in a reassuring way.

"I know," I admit quietly so my dad doesn't hear our conversation. "It doesn't make me worry any less though. I - I just want to see him, that's all-"

"Well he can't see the bride before the wedding anyway" she interrupts me laughing.

"Can I take over from here?" My dad asks Lucy once we reach the doorway, leaning forward slightly to take my other arm. Giving me one last glance with an eyebrow raised, Lucy lets go of my arm and trots through the open door.

"See you at the wedding!" She shouts over her shoulder before jogging down the gravel pathway and into Sam’s waiting car.

As soon as their car rumbles into life, I feel my dad’s hand around my waist. Quickly locking the front door, my dad helps me down the pathway and into the waiting car to take us to the venue in silence.

As soon as we get onto the highway I become confused, refusing to take my eyes off the road. I would've thought we would stay quite local, but obviously Josh had other plans when he booked this. As the driver pulls onto a quieter road I begin to get nervous, shuffling my hands in my lap uncomfortably.

A soft hands touches my own, and I snap my eyes back from the window to see my dad smiling reassuringly at me. "Don't be nervous..."

Sighing deeply I squeeze is hand, unsure whether I would cry if I opened my mouth to speak.

"I'm not stupid you know-” he says softly, and I turn back to the window to avoid his gaze. "It obvious something has happened. I'm not going to ask questions. I'm not going to put you in that position unless you want to talk about it with me." He continues. His voice is so quiet; it feels like this is the most vulnerable I have ever seen him before.

"Dad... I-" I begin, but struggle for words as I look back towards him.

"He will be there. I know he will" he interrupts me, which I'm thankful for. Lucy would quite literally slap me if I ruined my makeup. "I trust that boy, and I'm so happy you found each other. I guess I just want to say I'm so - so proud of you Livy."

Leaning forward I wrap my arms tightly around him, holding him tightly. "I love you"

"I love you too"

Josh's POV:

"I think we need to tell her-" Eric starts again but I interrupt him.

"No- she doesn't need to worry anymore than she probably already is!" I sigh getting frustrated.

"Josh - she'll be on her way to the venue right now. The car picking her and her dad up picked them up 20 minutes ago! If she gets their and your not there she might think that-"
