Part 39 ~

Liv's POV:

Taking one last breathe of fresh air I sigh, not wanting to retreat back into the house after my morning walk. The sun is warm on my skin, and the warm feeling only seems to continue through out the rest of my body. I barely slept last night, wanting nothing more than to have a proper day with my family. It's been so long since we've all been together. When it got to 4am I considered waking josh up to talk to him, but I didn't have it in me. He just looked so peaceful. 

Instead I grabbed a piece of paper, writing him a note saying I would be back before breakfast, put on my running shoes and left the house. I headed nowhere in particular, and when the sun started to rise I figured I'd have to head back. Well, not before stopping at the supermarket and grocery store. From what I remembered from numerous visits; Connor ate a heck of a lot!

Opening the door I'm immediately greeted with the smell of food and numerous conversations taking place. Stretching my arms above my head I make my way to the kitchen.

"Hey Livy!" Eric grins with a mouthful of food making me grin back.

"Morning guys" I laugh, receiving numerous nods and waves of recognition. Everyone had obviously had an early start to the morning, leaving their hotel to come here, as they were all sat around our kitchen table. Dropping the two carrier bags on to the ground, I search around for the one face that was missing, but his arms are soon wrapped around my waist from behind.

"Morning" Josh kisses just below my ear before turning me around to face him. A small scowl is on his face, so I run the pad of my thumb across his brow. A small smile is placed on his lips as I do this, I'm guessing from either embarrassment or confusion.

"Where did you go this morning?" He asks, kissing my shoulder gently as I turn back around to make myself a cup of tea. 

"I couldn't sleep, so I just went for a run," I explain, gesturing to the clothes I was wearing. "Then I bought more food-"

"Ooh is that for me?" Connor laughs, jumping from the table to rummage through the bags.

"How did you know?" I gasp, sending him a wink that makes him laugh loudly.

Sipping on my tea I smirk as Connor begins to put away the items, most likely so he can have first dibs on the food I've bought.

"Right, so what are we doing today?" I ask, looking up from Connor to everyone sat around the table.

“Site seeing!” Connor raises his arm before anyone can make plans, and his mum ruffles his hair chuckling. “I think me and Chris are going with Connor” Michelle adds, smiling sweetly at me.

“Nothing!” Eric participates into the conversation, taking his phone out of his pocket, flipping through instagram most likely.

"Actually” Lucy interrupts, “me, you're mum and Mrs. Johnson are going back to that wedding fair and probably meeting Jen there after her conference if you want to join us" Lucy says excitedly, and both the older women nod enthusiastically beside her.

Dear god…

"What do you want to do today kido?" My dad asks, thankfully giving me an option that doesn’t include shopping, "I’m thinking about going fishing if you fancy joining me?" he suggests.
