Before this chapter starts I just want to say a massive thank you to -QueenB- and sweetsecret01 for wanting to take the time and effort to translate my book into Romanian and German. You two are awesome!

I also want to give a shout out to fizzleharry and her new book “watching the sky fall” (a harry styles fan-fiction). I have read the first two chapters and can’t wait for more! Number 1 fan right here! Haha x

P.S. Thank you for all your incredible support, kind words and messages at these difficult times, it means so much to me. I love you all so so much xx

It's now two weeks five days until the wedding and very little had happened. Lucy arrived four days ago and lets just say if a complete stranger compared the two of us, they would naturally assume it was Lucy's wedding!

"So, table cloth?" Lucy says, picking up to two different styles and placing them in front of my face. We were currently attending a wedding fair where you could get discounts on the majority of wedding essentials, according to Lucy. Sam and Josh were off trying to find suits whilst I had been left with maid of honor who was extremely, erm… enthusiastic? Either way this was a ‘scary’ Lucy. Rolling my eyes I push her arms down so I can see her face.

"Well, what style?" she asks, not really waiting for an answer before continuing her maid of honor from hell role, "What style wedding are you having? Do you even have a theme?"

"Yes, black and white, remember?" I laugh, running my hand over the soft cloth in front of us. "That was the theme-"

"The theme of Josh's parents wedding yada yada, ok, so what shade of white?" she asks making me laugh again.

"Erm... white?" I say sarcastically getting a huff from Lucy.

"Oh Livia..." she tuts, "poor uneducated best friend, you are lucky to have me" making me laugh once again. "Liv stop laughing this is serious! There's frostine and white heron and cloud cover and calm" she rambles, holding up each of the different shades that quite honestly looked the exact same, "don't even get me started on the material choices" she exclaims, waving her arms around with numerous amounts of cloth in her hand.

"Well maybe we should just wait for the lads-" I begin to ask, but the death glare I'm given is more than enough to make me stop talking.

"Boys think white is white and black is black, there is no in-between for them! The fate of your wedding literally rests in my hands" she exaggerates.

Suddenly I feel someone’s hands wrap around my waist, making me squirm away.

“I’ll think you’ll find my dearest Lucy” Sam’s’ voice begins, and I turn to find both him and Josh behind us with large carrier bags. “Boys do know there is an in-between between black and white; it’s grey!” He states making Lucy roll her eyes once again.

“We are not having grey decorations for their wedding” Lucy says, waving her arms briefly in mine and Josh’s direction.

“Why not? Grey is nice-“

“Grey is nice? Grey is nice?!” Lucy exclaims, whacking Sam around the head with a sample of cloth.

“Y’know...” Josh says, wrapping his arms around me, leaning down to whisper in my ear. “I reckon we can just leave them to it” he states.

“What? Lucy and Sam… to plan the wedding?” I laugh, turning around to face him. Placing my hands in his back pockets.

“Yeah why not, I feel like it’s more there wedding than mine at the moment,” he laughs and I nod my head in agreement.
