I check my phone for the fourth time. It is already fifteen minutes past the time my friend Tee from the Communications Department asked me to meet him to get the basketball teams' pictures from Freshy Games. It has taken forever to get these pictures.
I am still bothered by the fact that even though the whole Engineering team had defeated the Economics team, the attacks seemed to only involve N'Wad. I am sure if it was just an opportunity because he was alone that other members could have been found alone also. Yet none of them have been attacked. Something is off for it to just be about the game.
"Sorry, Ai'Knott," Tee says as he runs up. "My professor stopped me to talk about revising my last assignment."
"I understand. You are doing me a favor anyway," I reply, watching Tee rummage through his bag.
"Here they are," Tee smiles as he hands me a folder. "Any reason you needed them? Maybe I can help?"
"Just helping out the First Years with a project," I hate lying to my friend, but I can't let anyone know what we are doing. "Thanks for this."
"No problem," he waves me off before he leaves.
Tucking the folder under my arm, I pull out my phone to text the gang.
Papa Knott: Have the pics of the teams
Dim Bulb: teams?
Toot: Bball teams Idiot! It was your fvcking idea!
Dim Bulb: Like you people, ever use my ideas!
Pink Milk: Meet in the hazing room.
RBF: Bring N'Wad?
Dim Bulb: How come you would be the one to bring him?
Papa Knott: Not yet. Let's look at it first.
