Chapter 1

The sequins on my dress were rustling slightly as I walked down the street. The September air was already crisp and I started wishing I had put a coat on over the shift dress I was wearing. I folded my arms and continued walking. As I got further into central London more people brushed past and the roads got busier. Guys on nights out were looking me up and down as I tottered along.

I finally reached the club where Liddy's party was. The bouncer didn't even check to see if I was on the guest list so I walked straight in. It was a typical on-trend club. The kind of place I hate but Liddy was one of my best friends so I wasn't going to miss it.  I walked past some guys I knew from work who waved at me.

There was some hip hop-y rap music being played and there were already plenty of couples grinding on the dance floor. I stood at the bar and looked around. Trying to find some dishy guy to take home this evening... My search was interrupted by Liddy bounding up to me. She threw her arms around me despite her knowing I like to keep my own personal space.

"Anais! You have to meet everyone." She was practically bouncing up and down as she shouted at me unnecessarily.

I rolled my eyes slightly, Liddy had always been a lightweight...

"Come on!" She screamed as she grabbed my hand and dragged me across the club. I pulled my hand from hers and continued following.

"This is Drew, he goes to my library and this is his girlfriend Becca and this is Becca's brother..." She continued reeling off all these people and it seemed she had invited everyone she had ever encountered and then asked them to invite everyone they knew. It was like the six degrees of separation thing and with the list of names she kept saying I'm fairly sure everyone in the world was at this party.

My attention was waivering until Liddy pointed out someone new. "And this is Aaron, he's friends with my room mate's boyfriend."

The guy in question was cute. Not hot, but nice to look at. He was pretty trim and was dressed well, in cream trousers and a fitted checked top. Liddy had appeared to have got bored next to me and she ran off to another corner of the club. I was stuck standing opposite this guy.

"So, errr how do you know Liddy?" The guy asked.

"Work friends" I replied and he nodded. "I've just got to errr..." I indicated the other way and walked from the guy.

He didn't seem to get the idea though as he followed me to the bar. "Can I get you a drink?"

I weighed up my options quickly before nodding slightly. He pressed his hand against my back and led me to the bar. I tried to shake his hand off but it just seemed to stick. I scrunched my nose up and gritted my teeth.

At the bar he got me a beer while he drank an orange juice. He looked at me expectantly so I figured he was waiting for me to talk.

"Sooo, you don't drink?"

"No. Er I'm not supposed to."

I nodded. Uninterested and took a sip of beer.

"That tattoo is cute" He commented.

I looked down to the tattoo of Bambi on the underside of my wrist. "You like it?"

He nodded. "Very sexy."

My natural reaction was to smile flirty and flutter my eyelids. As I did this I realized that this wasn't a guy I wanted to lead on.

"You want to dance?"

Not really. "Only because I love this song." I said. He walked to the dancefloor and I quickly downed my drink. I was buzzing once I found him and as he placed his arms round my neck I smiled and moved into his body. I could feel he worked out and I suspected that under his shirt he would have some lovely muscles.

"So you like The Strokes?" He asked.

I nodded and then sang along, "Soooo looooong my friend."

"You have good taste"

I raised an eyebrow.

"Cute tattoo. Good taste in music. Sexy dress."

"What?"

He leaned further into my ear "Most girls can't find the line between sexy and slutty. They usually just think showing their tits makes it sexy. You're spot on."

"Philosophical." I said nodding.

We carried on dancing. The DJ had finished with The Stokes and the rubbish dance music had been put back on.

"So what else do you like listening to?"

"Rock or indie."

"Arctic Monkeys?"

"Yes."

"Razorlight?"

"No."

"Oasis?"

I felt like I was being interrogated so I pressed my mouth to his. "Shhh" I whispered between his lips. He happily obliged and kissed my lips hungrily. As his hands moved down to my ass I forgot about him not being the guy I wanted tonight.

We broke off the kiss but continued dancing. After a while I felt the bulge between his legs. I smiled and rocked into him slightly. It caught him off guard and he let out a moan. I threw my head back and laughed. Aaron leant in and whispered, "You're so sexy."

"I know."

He shook his head at my cockiness. "Come on" I said and grabbed his hand. I led him into the bathroom and for such a swanky club they were surprisingly disgusting. I didn't let that phase me though as I pushed Aaron in a cubicle and lowered his pants.

I smiled up at him before taking him in my mouth. His hands immediately grabbed at my hair which turned me on and encouraged me to go faster. He thrust against my mouth one last time before coming. I swallowed quickly and got up. He pulled me into a kiss.

"I have to go" I said moving to the door.

"Wait! Can I have your number?"

Jeez you give a guy head and they think you're going to get married. I sighed and then surprised myself by entering my number. My actual number into his phone.

As I walked out of the bathroom and then the club I wondered why I did that. What that guy had, which made me break one of my rules. No number exchanges
