I woke up and glanced at my clock to see that I had two minutes
before my alarm rang, and I groaned.
I turned off my alarm, and got up and showered.
The warm water running down my body felt so soothing.
I dried my hair and straightened it today. I ran my hands through my
silky, red hair. I chose something simple to wear today. A black and
white striped T-shirt, black skinny jeans, and my slip on vans.
'Simple.' I thought.
I headed downstairs towards the kitchen and saw my Mom sitting
down, and sipping her coffee. I grabbed an apple and began to

Rikki sat down and put his guitar on the table. I looked at him and saw
he was smirking. "Music soothes the soul." He said.
Derek sat down a few seconds after him. "Sure does." He said while
smiling.
Rikki gestured for me to play the guitar. I hesitated for a moment, leaving
my hand lingering inches above the guitar, but I finally grabbed it.
I strummed a few cords and stooped, and looked around the lunch room.
It had gotten quieter, like they were waiting. I nodded to Derek and he
