The Lake Within A Cave

Biana had told Sophie to go and hide in the cave on the east wall, so here she was walking through the the cave when she let out a surprised gasp. Right in front of her was the most beautiful and most tranquil scene she had ever laid eyes on. There was a beautiful teal lake with colorful fish swimming in it. There was bushes up against the wall of the cave that had berries and some had flowers. There were flowers littering the floor (in a good way) and trees that had vines artfully arranged on them. Right in the middle, on the other side of the lake was a willow that had leaves drooping down almost touching the ground. Moonlarks swam on the lake singing their song. Sophie, thinking that no one could hear her, started to hum a song. Soon the hum turned into a soft singing. As Sophie walked to the willow, she felt the soft grass on the floor of the cave. She kept singing the song she had stuck in her head.

I'll tell you a story

Before it tells itself

I'll lay out all my reasons

You'll say that I need help

We all got expectations

And sometimes they go wrong

But no one listens to me

So I put it in this song

Fitz, upon hearing the soft voice, walked in the cave to see Sophie walking around the lake, singing. He walked quietly to her, but he had to walk slowly so she couldn't hear.

They tell me think with my head

Not that thing in my chest

They got their hands at my neck this time

But you're the one that I want

If that's really so wrong

Then they don't know what this feeling is like

And I say "yeah"

Yeah

Yeah

Yeah

(And I say yeah)

(Yeah)

(Yeah)

(Yeah)

I'll tell them my story

They'll sit and nod their heads

I tell you all my secrets

And you tell all your friends

Hold on to your opinions

And stand by what you say

In the end it's my decision

So it's my fault when it ends

They tell me think with my head

Not that thing in your chest

They got their hands at my neck this time

But your the one that I want if that's really so wrong

Then they don't know what this feeling is like

Fitz couldn't help but to feel a pang of jealousy. "Who does she like" he thought. As well as the thought "who else does she tell all of her secrets to."

And I say yeah

Yeah

Yeah

Yeah

And I say yeah

Yeah

Yeah

Yeah

I'll tell you a story

Before it tells itself

I'll lay out all my reasons

You'll say that I need help

We all got expectations

And sometimes they go wrong

But no one listens to me

So I put it in this song

They tell me think with my head

Not that thing in my chest

They got their hands at my neck this time

But your the one that I want

If that really so wrong

Then they don't know what this feeling is like

My friends say No

No (they don't know)

No

No

No

No(they don't know)

No

No

Sophie hummed the ending to the song and reached out her hand to touch the willow. It felt soft and light. The leaves silky and like the underside of a comforter. As she started to walk into the leaves, she heard a twig snap. She turned around ready to fight. The figure had what appeared to be a ball of light in their hand. She looked up and saw the face of the person. It was......

Cliffhanger!!! I'm pretty sure you could figure out who it is though. I'm not exactly the best suspense writer even though those are my favorites.
