When both of them got their consciousness back, they panicked alongside the thought that someone—a creature has been stopping to look for the book. And when they try to leave the premises, it wasn't possible when the creature blocked their way out.
Stella and Ully were all frightened. They couldn't distinguish what creature it is but she's scary as hell. She screams so loud na ikabibingi na ng isang tao ang lakas nito.
They are now hiding behind the bookshelves to protect themselves if the creature attacked them once again.
Ramdam ni Stella ang malakas na pagkabog ng kanyang dibdib. Hindi niya alam kung anong gagawin. Even Ully's out of idea on what to do. Kapag sinusubukan niyang magsalita ay nauutal siya sa takot. They believed this is far more dangerous than the vampire.
"We need to get out of this place, Ully," Stella said. When she reached for his hand, he's shaking. She noticed how Ully was scared. Kalalaking tao. She thought in her head but she needed to get his friend to sway out of his dear. "Ully, calm down. Relax ka lang."
"I-I'm not sure I can..." he stuttered.
"Ully..." she whispered. "Kainis naman kasi! Ano bang kailangan nitong creature na 'to sa atin?"
"Maybe because we trespassed on this place without the superior's supervision. Maybe that it was."
Nanlaki ang mata ng dalawa nang marinig ang pamilyar na boses mula sa kanilang likuran. They didn't expect that it will happen. Sobrang kabog ng dibdib ang nararansan ng dalawa and they don't know how to cope up with it. They couldn't believe that it was the old lady librarian who they met earlier and prohibited them to enter the premises. She was just looking at them now.
Unti-unti tumayo ang dalawa. They turned to face the librarian and with that, they knew they were in trouble. Gusto nilang tumakbo palabas ng Public Library pero hindi nila iyon magagawa nang ramdam nilang nakabantay ang creature sa may pinto.
Bakit hindi siya natatakot? Takang tanong ni Stella sa isip. She's visible to the eye of the creature pero super confident pa itong humalukipkip sa kanila.
"Anong ginagawa niyo rito? Sinabi kong sarado na ang library at maaari kayong bumalik bukas pero nakuha niyo pang mag-trespass. This might be called a public library but what you both did is illegal," paliwanag ng librarian. Nagtitimpi lamang itong magalit sa dalawa.
Pero hindi nila ikinabahala ang librarian. Ang atensyon nila ay nasa creature pa rin na nag-aabang sa may pinto.
"I can call the police now and report both of you. Pwede nila kayong arestuhin sa ginagawa niyo. O kaya naman idala ko na ang balitang ito kay Chieftain Clements para tuluyan kayong ma-ban sa bayang ito."
Doon naman nabahala ang dalawa kaya tumapon na sa matanda ang kanilang atensyon.
Bahagyang lumapit si Stella sa matanda pero inangat nito ang kanyang kamay para pigilan si Stella sa paglapit. Stella also noticed that the creature moved nang lumapit siya sa librarian.
