44: "crazy people"

**im confused on hoseok's sisters name, so she's just gonna be named jiwoo in this story**

"mickey!!!"

hoseok ran up to the plump green caterpillar and threw himself on top of him to wrap his body across his companion.

"i missed you so much! look! i made friends that really love me while I was away!" hoseok gave mickey a kiss before sliding off and pointing at each human.

"that's jinnie, taetae, kookie and yoonyoon! yoonyoon's the snow fairy we lost a while ago!" hoseok pointed at each person as he introduced them. "and guess what, mickey?! i'm the nature fairy!"

jin watched as jimin bounced his way over to the giant plump caterpillar and gave a big and sweet smile. "mickey! how are sunmi, jeonghan, and seungkwan? have they learned to talk yet?"

everyone turned to the plump caterpillar and hoseok who was listening with concentration since he was the only one who could hear via telepathy. "jeonghan and sunmi can say bigger words." hoseok took a second to listen to the caterpillar before adding, "seungkwan can only say 'food' and 'boo'"

jimin gasped before turning to namjoon and yelling excitedly. "did ya hear that joonie?!"

"i heard," he sighed out, reaching out to hold jimin's hand and prevent him from getting too excited.

"he'th fluffy," jungkook blurted out with a lisp as he pets the caterpillar. yoongi scrunched his nose in disgust and looked towards the house instead. it was hoseok's home, and it definitely looked like it with how it was built. the base looked to be a bunch of rocks and dirt. there were leaves and flowers growing on the walls of the house which meant that the wood must be from a bunch of twigs and vines tied together. the roof was a bunch of leaves also tied with vines, but these were thinner in order to keep the roof lighter than the rest of the house.

"hoseok? are you done with your mission?"

everyone turned around to see a woman standing with a baby in her arms. jimin gasped before walking up to her and taking the baby with a wide smile.

"jiwoo! i'm here to visit!" hoseok yelled in delight, running up to his sister and hugging her tightly. she laughed in response and quickly checked hoseok for injuries.

"jiwoo, meet my friends!" he excitedly introduced the humans again while jimin and namjoon made silly faces to their baby.

"hello, i'm hoseok's sister." she gave them all a smile that they all returned shyly or hesitantly. jiwoo then faced hoseok.

"mom and dad are out for a couple of days. i'll also be leaving for a week upon king wonho's request. whatever happens, don't lose the kids."

"don't worry! jiminie and namnam will take care of them!"

jiwoo gave an uneasy smile as she glanced towards the couple cluelessly panicking over a fretting baby.

"yeah, i'm sure they'll be okay." she replied sarcastically.

yoongi couldn't help but agree with her.

"mama!" sunmi yelled, running up to jimin with jeonghan right at her heels. the nymph happily lifted the girl and spun her around before setting her down and doing the same for jeonghan.

seokjin entered the house and peeked over jimin's shoulder to see two adorable faces smiling in adoration at their 'mama'. "these are your kids?"

"yes!" jimin gave a bright smile and lead the rest of the group inside as he ordered around his children. "go sit on the couch minnie and hannie."

seokjin watched the two run back inside with giggles and suddenly understood why namjoon would never stop talking about his little family whenever given the chance to bring them up. they all looked so adorable.

"hoseok, what the fuck." came from outside the front door.

"no cursing in front of the children!" namjoon yelled, walking inside with a fretting baby in his arms. jungkook trailed after him while keeping his eyes on seungkwan.

"he'th tiny," jungkook whispered when namjoon handed seungkwan over to jimin.

"you're tiny too, kookie." seokjin replied, but he could tell seungkwan wasn't a big baby like jungkook was (in the rare times he's seen baby-kook.)

taehyung and yoongi finally entered the house with a pouty hoseok behind them. immediately after walking in, taehyung sighed and stretched. "i think we should take a nap or something."

"we have to eat –except jungkook, gosh he's eaten so much today." yoongi said. jungkook had probably eaten a whole forest worth of berries all day, he didn't need any more food than that.

jungkook didn't say a word as he continued starting at the baby in jimin's arms. it kept giggling and reaching out for him with tiny hands.

"can i pway with seungkwan?" jimin cooed at the question and quickly gestured for hoseok to turn the adult-baby into the baby he is.

"i still don't know how i feel about hoseok being jungkookie's first kiss." taehyung commented as the watched a baby jungkook get picked up by namjoon.

"well, i still don't know how my life came to be filled with crazy people." yoongi spoke as he watched the fairies coo over the two babies interacting with each other. "maybe i'm a crazy person too."

seokjin (even though he was the only normal person in the group) couldn't help but agree with the snow fairy.

i feel like i might extend the plot to some other bs.
