"Anyway." Jean said, gently pushing Eric out of the way.

She got in front of him with her hand still on his stomach.

"I hope you get to feeling well, (L/N). You did good these past two days."

I nodded, taking a step back to stand beside Peter. With that, she nodded her head once, before turning around to face Eric. Instead of eyes on me, his eyes were on her. I turned to look at my feet beside Peter's, not wanting to look at them any longer than I'd have to. Clinking sounds of her high heels came into my ears.

Finally, the door opened and shut with a long bang. I sighed, looking up at the now shut door.

"You okay?" Peter asked me, putting a hand on my shoulder.

I looked up at the male, nodding my head once.

"Peter you take her to her room, come back to me and Tris. We'll be waiting in The Pit with the rest of Dauntless. (Y/N), Max said that you have the rest of the day off."

I turned around to look over at Four's face for once; He had a busted lip. Nothing that a little man like him can't handle. I nodded, wanting the rest. Peter trailed his hand down to my hand, wrapping it around his much taller shoulders.

"Maybe.. It'll be easier if you.. let me wrap it around your waist, Giant."

Peter snorted at the nickname, "Sorry, Princess Mask."

Still holding my hand, he brought my hand down to his waist.

Then, he helped me walk to the Leader Apartments.

* Close to the Elevator *

I felt a squeeze to my hand from Peter. I looked up at him while he looked in front of us. I directed my attention to the couple: Jean and Eric. I rolled my eye at them, even though they couldn't see the action.

"You okay?" Peter whispered in my ear.

I nodded, not wanting to speak. Pass them was the elevator so we couldn't turn around, it'd be too late and waste of time. We couldn't just go to the other elevator, because there isn't one. I took a deep breath, sucking up my feelings and bottled them up. He doesn't care about you, you don't care about him.

You guys hate each other. You don't know about your.. Disease. No one does. Not even Evelyn. No one.. Before I even knew it, we were at the elevator. Jean had turned her head to smile at Eric, but her gaze caught sight of Peter and me. She turned fully around to look at us, up and down.

This had caught Eric's attention too. He had turned his head to only look at me.

"Looks like you have a new assistant, (Y/N)."

I didn't reply to her words, only looked up at Peter. Don't look at Eric. He doesn't concern you.
